This eatery is an oasis, it provides refuge and great food! The staff is friendly with great knowledge of the menu. Our experience seemed personalized. The coffee cake was crumbly, and perfect. The Oasis omelette was fluffy, and firm enough to contain its filling of cheese and meat. YUM! Portions are huge!

This spot is my go-to for brunch! Unlike newer, fancier places with higher prices and sometimes not that good food, this place offers great quality and food is amazing. The service is always polite and attentive. Absolutely love it here!

We had lunch here on a Sunday. We made a reservation expecting it to be busy which seemed like it was a good choice. They have a lot of drink options of all varieties (coffee, alcohol, other beverages). I had a spicy chicken sandwich which was absolutely delicious! Very flavorful and a good portion size. The side salad was also great. The kids menu has a couple good options and my daughter chose the pasta. Great portion size for her! Would recommend!

Went with a small group of friends, and so happy we chose this place. It was a full house Friday night and our server served us with smile the whole time. He was quick, courteous and friendl and patient. There were no pictures on the menus, but it describes perfectly what’s on each dish. And that helped us decide what to get. I personally love the udon peanut stir fry, it reminded of a dish from Indonesia, gado gado. Everyone enjoyed theirs. We had a great night! Will come back for more!

Wonderful ambiance.
We ate brunch on the patio on a terrific spring day after catching some of the SLC Marathon.
We had the Oasis omelet, grilled cheese and soup, grilled tuna sandwich (photo uncle), steak sandwich ( photo included), and chicken sandwich with avocado.
The service was exceptional throughout.
I highly recommend this establishment.

I love this restaurant. The atmosphere is the best selling point! The food is great too. It would be an overstatement for me to say this is the best restaurant in town. But what is clear is I come here more often than any other restaurants in town because of the atmosphere is unparalleled: great community feeling, great outdoor seating and it is next to the Golden Braid Bookstore, so it is naturally enchanting and mesmerizing. Love the zen decoration and how can it go wrong to have an outdoor fireplace? The beet salad is really good. I love the paprika chicken. Don’t order the strawberry arugula salad. The grilled vegetable plate is another one of my favorite. I think for many people the German Pancake is their treat. The shrimp pasta and fajita are not bad. In general, the food is made to be healthy and nutritious.

The parking situation right now is dire with a lot of street maintenance, but the rest of the experience was great. The book store darling, and the little "love notes" for Valentine's Day are genius.

The reservation system was smooth, and a table was ready at exactly the promised time. Our waitress was so kind and helpful, and the service was very good. The food was very tasty, and they marked and handled food allergies which is so helpful.

Recommend: the spicy chicken sandwich, the steak sandwich, and the Caesar salad (which had a perfect amount of dressing and shaved Parmesan cheese!)

The kid's menu for breakfast and lunch is very diverse and the pomodoro pasta with chicken was half-eaten, but the leftovers also got taken home. We were very pleased with today's lunch and recommend the restaurant.

What a fun spot for food, they have outdoor seating and a beautiful open atrium between it and the super neat bookstore next door.

I had the omelette and breakfast potatoes with a latte and my partner had the grilled cheese and tomato soup with a tea.

The omelette was great, I also enjoyed the cheese crispys on the edges. The potatoes were outstanding and the latte was wonderful. My partners meal was OK, the grilled cheese was beautiful but bland, it could have used a bit more grilling and maybe a hit of salt. The soup was great as was the tea.

I wouldn’t let the small detail stop anyone from heading here. A lot of plates looked great and it comes with a lot of local praise.

We tried the grilled cheese and soup, strawberry salad with salmon, and the ethereal omlett. Everything was so good and the cost for drink, food and tip was $65. The portion size was perfect for our taste.
I was impressed by the cafe ambiance in the middle of the city. Such beautiful seating areas and even a little bookstore embedded within the cafe.
If you have a chance, give this place a try.

Found this place on Open Table and so glad we did! The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the food was so delicious. I had the blackened ahi tuna and would definitely recommend it. They were great about side substitutions. Nice little craft beer selection also.

I was quite impressed with the find. The decor and atmosphere were pleasant. They do have gluten-free options for breakfast or lunch.
I got the eggs, sour cream, mushrooms, and other vegetables. I have to admit I was surprised how much I liked the cream cheese. The toast was different, and I am curious if it is homemade or brand.
I took the tofu for my meat and delicious potatoes with veggies.

I liked the meal so much I got a grilled cheese with tomato soup to go for dinner.

My server was super cool and deserves recognition, Meg.

Would I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely!

Good food and the restaurant has a more upscale feeling to it. Outdoor dining is very nice during warmer months.

Our favorites include the salmon and the breakfast burrito. They have a brunch menu and then a dinner menu, though there is some crossover in items between the two menus.

This was the BEST brunch choice we could have made. My husband, myself, and my inlaws are all from out of state, and so we found the restaurant online and saw a few mixed reviews. We make a reservation, show up early, and evn though it was busy, got a patio seated table 15 minutes early!

The reuben was DIVINE, the salad incredible, and there was an amazing selection of coffees and teas.

One thing i wish they did was have icewater, instead of ice upon request, but thats not a big deal! Also, for the breakfast, i wish there was more jam per container, but we were able to request a second container, and it went perfectly with the yogurt and toast.

The atmosphere was AMAZING. You would never know you are in the heart of SLC. The outdoor seating has so many fresh flowers, a little water feature, and a beautiful canopy overhead so the patio can be used to its full potential. The open gate to the street, multiple entrances to the patio made it feel so inviting and inclusive, and the healthy (but delicious) food choices almost made you feel like you were eating the freshest food available. There also seemed to be a great essential oil/herbal scent in the air which just added to the overall vibe!

We fed 4 adults (including a tea, soda, and granola "upgrade') for $70! (not including tip!) That felt like an amazing deal for the location and again, ambiance. Our waters never even reached half before they were automatically refilled, and our waiter checked in with us very frequently and offered his personal reccomendations (the reuben and the Mediterranean salad) and that was had by 3/4 of us. It was a worthy reccomendation.

I highly, highly encourage you to go here! Making a reservation is simple and easy, and the menu is available online!

My friend took me here for an early birthday treat. The turkey burger was amazing! Also the lavender panna cotta was such a great surprise. I had a lot of fun trying new dishes. This place was pretty busy during early afternoon. That's when you know their food are delicious!

Went here after pride and it was a fantastic place, the decorations were great. They also had some rainbow flags around. We were seated right away. And our server was so friendly and attentive. It wasn't very loud. We ordered our food and it came very quickly. And it tasted amazing. Loved it here.

It's been years since I last visited the Oasis Cafe. It's still just as good as I remember! I went with the classic and ordered the Oasis breakfast, which comes with potato, your choice of eggs, bacon, and a toast. Delicious! The cranberry juice and mimosas were yummy, too. Staff is so friendly, and I loved going into the gift shop and looking around while waiting for our table.
