Pies and Sides - Mount Holly

This restaurant was a HUGE find for me. I am a banana pudding lover. Their banana pudding IS THE BEST I'VE EVER EATEN. It's homemade too. My husband and I ate this as we were waiting on our order. Kristine offered to make us anything we wanted. Wow! The French toast was better than my mama's. I love my mama! The pimento cheese spread? Homemade, fantastic, tasty, made with love! Sausage, egg, cheese on homemade biscuit.

Stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed. Beautiful decor, amazing service and the food was fresh and delicious.

The food is fantastic, the service is great! It felt very homey sitting in there. We were offered a complimentary sample of their tomato, which was wonderful! We ordered our food a little late so we didn’t get it in time and had them put it in to go boxes for us. They felt so bad that they gave us complimentary banana pudding to go too. They were wonderful people! I plan to take my family there sometime soon. I love southern food! ❤

First visit,had a pie called picnic I think with beans,BBQ sauce, Mac and cheese. It was delicious. Also had the Greens asked for vinegar before I tasted them, didn't need it, they were great without anything. Wife had the chicken pot pie she said that was good also. Hope to go back soon.

A most stop by if your ever in town. You can taste the love in every bite of her food. Never had anything I didn't rave about. It won't solve the world problems, or religion issues but it sure will fill your belly with a smile. I hope she stays in business a long time so I can enjoy all her pies n sides

This has become one of our favorite places to eat. The service is always excellent and the food is amazing. We took my granddaughter to lunch today and I had enough to share with her and still have leftovers. She especially loved "my" biscuit. Which was almost as big as her head. If you like home cooked southern food, this is an absolute must visit!! You won't be disappointed!

One of the best burgers I have ever had and I’ve had many. Not greasy, thick 1/2 pound , and the quality of the meat is insane. You can tell they hand patty the burgers fresh with top shelf beef. Toasted bun. And the come back sauce is amazing. Wife has had a bunch of the specials. Very impressed.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! So happy I found it. It’s a real southern place and such a charming interior. Came here with my sister and niece and just loved it. The decor is so lovely and the food is delicious! I had the club sandwich and the Mac & cheese and it’s the best I think I’ve had. Their sweet tea makes me want to buy it by the gallon. So happy I came here :)

A hidden gem! I'll be making the drive for this place as much as I can! I got a few pies to split with my family (in order of my favorite): Taco, Shepherd, Moroccan chicken, Scalloped potatoes. They were all delicious but that taco pie is 🤌 The scalloped potatoes were so good, but not really a pie since it was just potatoes. The sides we got were all amazing too! If you got after 2:30 on Friday, everything is half off and I legit fed a family of 4 a gourmet meal for like $20. Y'all keep up the great work!!!

Food was Great! Veggies are cooked & seasoned like you do at home, only better. My husband's pork chops were perfectly cooked and he brought home a biscuit larger than his fist...he says he'll eat it in the morning for breakfast. Hope this place continues to be a town favorite...we love it!

I absolutely love this restaurant. The name speaks for itself. The location is beautiful and the salad and greens was delicious. I didn’t wait long and the staff was courteous. I recommend anyone passing through to stop by and get yourself some good old home cooked food.

Portions are huge! Kristen noticed that I was chilly and sent out some hot yummy tomato soup! She is fantastic! Good idea to call before you go because sometimes they run out of food!

The food was great the waitress was absolute great. and the owner came out and talked to us everything was first rate done. Even the bathroom was nice. I would definitely travel from Concord to Mount Olive anytime to come here. Very much worth 5 star.

My hubs and I just ate there for the first time. The food was delicious! The service was wonderful and everyone was so friendly, especially April who was our server. We will definitely be back!

Ate there for yth first time today! The breakfast menu was small, but you can order from the main menu all day and get breakfast all day. Our food was delicious and we had another plate of breakfast from leftovers. The hamburger is made made fresh, it's HUGE and cooked perfectly. Portions are more than average. We will be going back.

Loved the food! Hubby had the baked chicken, corn on the cob and a HUMUNGOUS biscuit! He ate every bite! I had biscuits and gravy! Both were to die for! Super friendly staff and owner! Everything made fresh daily! Try the wine cake! Super moist and delicious! Also got to try the tomato bisque soup. Obviously we loved it all!

We had the absolute pleasure of eating lunch here, and all we can say is WOW! Try the pies, try the sides, we liked literally everything we tried. Come try this place before it gets any more popular, it’s easy to see what the buzz is about. This is a local gem, and a sure fire hit for lunch, dinner, or any occasion that calls for pie (and let’s be honest that’s just about every occasion)

Very nice family oriented establishment. Amazing southern cooking, great prices, very little wait time, professional & hospitable employees. A little too loud at times, but other than that, a perfect little restaurant. Will definitely be returning.
