I am so happy with my deliveries from Long Island’s Own Home Food Service
They are so accommodating. The list of food is huge. So many options. So glad I did the trial box because now I'm a regular customer
Specific to Dan...he is my representative and he does a great job communicating check in to see if all is good etc.
Joe delivery guy is the sweetest. He makes sure everything goes smoothly
Chuck owner has picked up the phone and also communicated and checks in on the service.

Where to start....an acquaintance of mine had recommended this service to me, told me to speak with a man named Dan and gave me contact information. I reached out to Dan, set up an appointment (nearly 3 years ago at this point), we discussed our families needs / wants, budget, etc. and Dan was able to work up a food plan for us that fit out budget and when compared to what had been being spent at the local wholesale club and intermittent trips to the grocery store, this plan from Dan & LI Own was a few hundred dollars per month less that what we had been spending.

Fast forward to the food, if you want it, they have it. Fresh, flash frozen and packaged. Not that they expect to have any significant issues or complaints with the quality of their food, but they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee--if you have any concerns or problems for whatever reason, contact them and they'll make it right, that is their claim.

Fast forward to my first delivery and I just wasn't thrilled with a particular item, to be honest, I don't recall the issue at this point, but I recall reaching out to Dan who was my sales rep. and he immediately offered to rectify the issue with an exchange for a different item of my choice, and he followed up with me shortly after the exchange to make sure I was happy and everything was good now.

I had to have them split my order into 3 shipments due to limited space in my apartment and the cube freezer only holds so much.....They were quick to accommodate my request. I have renewed my food order with them and have not had any further issues, however Dan constantly checks in to make sure everything is still good and see if we need anything.. This company being represented by Dan sure does shine and define exactly how customer service should be. The quality of their products is far better than supermarket food, and due to it being flash frozen and delivered directly to you, there is no concern as to whether that package of supermarket meat has been out of the refrigerator for a while and then put back after who knows how long, or if it was "spruced up" and put into new packaging despite being past the initial sell by date since it "looked ok". With LI Own, you don't worry about any of these problems. The delivery man, Joe, has also been a rock star, always on point with communication to arrange a seamless delivery for us.

We signed up right after getting married in July 2019 and have loved the service the whole time.
I love not having to worry about meat sales at the supermarket and seeing a freezer full of meat makes me feel like I am food secure if there is ever an emergency.
I recommend this service to anyone who cooks at home!

Just received another reorder delivery from Long Islands Own . I have been a customer for 4-5 years now and the only thing better than the service , is their food . I won’t go on about all of it , but by far the best cheddar bacon chicken burgers I have eaten . They’re extremely accommodating and never any issues from the orders being placed to the prompt deliveries . Great job guys and thank you from not only feeding my family , but saving money in doing so .

Mother of 5 ( with 2 of them being athletic teenage boys). This is a life saver. If you can get over the 3 year buy-out of their freezer, it is definitely worth it. I have referred 2 friends and they feel the same.

When i compared the cost of me buying meat/chicken and veggies at the local supermarket every month. I was saving with this food service plan.

The idea behind buying their freezer is that, they insure it. If it breaks or doesn't work, they replace it and the loss food for $100 deductible. I had this happen after my first year and they replaced everything within 3 weeks.

Only food item i don't care for is their fish, its taste different. I prefer to buy it fresh.

Been using Long Islands Own for 2 years now. As a family of 3 and frequent entertaining household this has been a lifesaver!!! Meats are great quality. Helpful staff who make the ordering process seamless.

Best foods ever I have been a customer over 3 years and besides the amazing foods the service is outstanding. My rep Dan listened put out food plan together accordingly to our needs we couldn’t be happier . We’re eating natural foods that alone shows in the quality and taste

Terrible customer service. Ordered once and they make you buy $3,700 freezer which is stupid when you can get a much cheaper freezer anywhere else. They basically sell freezers. The food is terrible. I returned the food multiple times. And it was all bad. No
Meat on the ribs. The seasoning everyone hated on all the chicken. Taste cheap. It’s impossible to open the packages without the juice going everywhere. So basically I stopped stocking the freezer w gross food and then was left w paying off a freezer for three years. Thanks for nothing.

They got a 1 because you can't do 0. They misrepresent the cost, and the quality went from great to ok as soon as they got you.
They only deliver on their schedule.
In the initial meeting, he ran circles around me till I was convinced it was a great deal. I ended up paying $3000 for a $700 freezer and average of $10/lb for chicken and chop meat.
