Maya's Mexican Grill

We stopped here randomly on our way through to Indianapolis. Everything was great, the chicken was tender, they weren’t skimpy on the queso, the salsa bar was awesome, the portions were large and the bean dip great! Service was fast as well!We all agreed that it was the best Mexican we have ever had and wish it was more local to us!

It's always pleasant when owners Oscar and Carla are there. They are great & their customer focus is amazing. Food is phenomenal. Don't let the service of one individual steer you from coming back.

Great little hometown Mexican restaurant. Instead of salsa with your chips they serve a really good refried bean dip but they also have a variety of free salsa at the little salsa bar! Really good quality of food and competitive pricing as well.

They were very busy on Valentine’s Day, but we were still blown away by how delicious the food was and how attentive and friendly the service was! We will one million percent be back!!!!!! Amazing, fantastic, and wonderful!!!!

We had the molcajete from Maya's today for the first time. Always great food but this is amazing. If you're craving Mexican food, definitely give Mayas a shot.

Love this place. They've got a salsa bar. They bring refried beans to your table with the chips. Their menu has its own vibe which is a little different than the other places in town. They've also got some really good tequila drinks that are outside of the norm.

Definitely do the Table Side Guac. It's an experience as well as being delicious.

If u like mexican food, you have got to go try Maya's Mexican restaurant! They have the best flavored mexican meals. Since there are 5 or 6 Mexican restaurants in this town, we have tried them all. Yet we still prefer Maya's! The owner is very visible. He walks the floor to be sure ur order is right, very pleasant guy. The wait staff are all very kind and efficient. They start u off with a bean dip & chips. Don't gasp at the mention of a bean dip. I first thot it was crazy, bean dip instead of salsa but...it is really good. You don't see beans but the flavor is awesome. They Do have a salsa bar that u can get the type salsa u prefer, & ur choice of red or green salsa. When we stopped in it happened to be taco Tuesday. Great pricing too! I have eaten their chicken in a chimichanga. It is truely amazing! Tell Oscar what u enjoyed, I have.)

Delicious food. I've had carry-out from this place twice, and I've loved it both times. Sometime I will sit down in eat in there, as it looks like a nice and cozy place to have dinner. I can tell you that the staff is very friendly, and my meals have been perfect. Prices are very reasonable, I will be back. Thank goodness for carry-out for certain days!

The best, and I mean the best Mexican food I have ever had, and I've been to 27 states. Maya's chocolate flan is amazing! The staff are fantastic, and super friendly. If you are in the area or want to take a drive for some great food, this is the place to come to!

The food was salute absolutely awesome. Bring a cook I order something different and it was great hope to pass on two more dishes that well send their menu onward to the sky! I promise you adults and children will live it! Oscar is a awesome person and the service was great, keep in mind they are extremely busy so have patients it's worth the wait!
I hope and Iook forward to passing on these two recipes I have to Oscar?! It will be well worth his time to see me put it together and it so bursting with flavor and richness.

Fun smaller intimate restaurant with great service and some unique food! Salsa bar was a plus!

Our first time here and it is our new favorite! The staff was very friendly. Our waitress, Alejandra, was really nice and very attentive. We loved the salsa bar. Will definitely be returning!

As a frequent diner at Maya Mexican Grill in Shelbyville, Indiana, I cannot speak highly enough of this establishment. The restaurant is always buzzing with energy and excitement, and the staff is top-notch, especially Cesar.

Cesar's exceptional service is what keeps me coming back time and time again. He is always quick to greet me with a warm smile and a friendly attitude, making me feel like a valued customer. He knows the menu inside and out and is always happy to make recommendations or answer any questions I may have.

In addition to the outstanding service, the food at Maya Mexican Grill is simply delicious. The atmosphere at Maya Mexican Grill is also worth mentioning. It's always bustling with happy diners, and the decor is colorful and inviting. Overall, I cannot recommend Maya Mexican Grill enough.

Oh my, I’m so full but it was worth it because everything was delicious. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The bean dip for the chips is the best idea and the salsa in the salsa bar was great. The servings were big. I always love “authentic” style tacos but they tend to be a little dry; these were juicy and the corn tortillas were perfect. The combo burrito was huge and reported to be great. The french fry nachos were reportedly the best thing ever.
