The Mission of Winter Haven

These folks are above par in kindness and willingness to help in any way that they are able. They show so much love and kindness and faith in God. It is so comforting. And, every time I come here, I leave with a renewed sense of faith and hope, which is worth so much more than anything else I could ever get from them. I do get food and stuff from them once each month, and, without their help, my family would be lost. Without the much needed emotional support of their wonderful staff, my faith would surely be lacking. I thank God for these amazing people and the amazing people and organizations that donate to them to help people like me. If you can...donate. If you have a true need...go see them. If you don't have a true need...save it for someone who truly has a need. Don't be selfish just because you can.

It's the first time my husband and I came here for the food pantry. Everyone was very polite. My husband and I appreciate that the gentleman Justin prayed for us. We were recommended by a friend and I am so glad she did God bless all of you

My church donate as a ministry. Very nice people volunteers are very nice. All seem grateful for everything given.

Every year my husband gets a ham for Christmas from his employer and since we don't eat ham, I take it to the mission… It's so wonderful to see this group of people helping those in need

I became "involved" with the Mission through my place of work when we had a month-long giving for the upcoming summer rains, heat and mosquitos. Since then I've become more aware of the needs that this wonderful place provides for homeless, people who need help making ends meet, and for those who need someone to talk with. It's a wonderful service that the community needs.

We have donated a lot of things to the mission. The people you deal with have been wonderful. We will continue to donate. My grandson has even made sandwiches to have on hand, so folks can grab a quick sandwich.

The Mission is Awesome. I have been living in my Van for 3yrs. I eat my meals their, take Showers, at Thanksgiving & X-mas they gave me very nice gifts. I go to the pantry on Thursdays & get non parishable items for the wind. The Staff Treats you w/Respect. It's just an Awesome life saver. Have A Blessed Day, Lynette Philbrick

They are there to help people who need help. Food pantry during the week in the morning. Also besides food, they will help with clothes. Christian based. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

This place connected me back with my Saviour, still have the Bible Pastor Tom Beauregard signed an gave to me.Praise God for all you do, Ron Boss better still be kicking it, Richard as well

They are friendly. They helped me and I am so ever thankful. My granddaughter Faye and I enjoyed the word of GOD and we enjoyed the lunch. They were sweet, kind to Faye and we were truly blessed that day! Thank you and GOD bless you all!

Never had a bad experience while I was homeless! They always try to treat people by the word of God and show them that they can make it they just have to have faith in Jesus and find a job! Too many homeless now that just want to be taken care of!

Kind and friendly! They didn't make us feel bad for asking them for help. The staff truly cares for their community and the people in it. The receptionist was knowledgeable and able to provide us with information we needed. Not feeling as hopeless as we did when we walked in.

This place is a Godsend to our locals. They offer tons of ways to help give relief to families and individuals on a daily basis.

The pastor was wonderful he helped my family now with Food hygiene products with kind courteous and respectful and your staff was just amazing the people there make you feel like you're at home and not like you're just a charity case I strongly suggest that if you're in need speak with the minister and he'll make you feel like you're at home. These people are truly God's Messengers.

Free meal, and free things with Christ and not Christ at this church. Don't matter. But. People thank you GodFather Heavenly. Jesus Christ of Lord defeats the devil stan with many bad angels. I love the pastors. I love GodFather Heavenly forever lifetime. Prayer, helper, teacher and other persons. Good Amen and good agreement.

Wonderful people. Food is always good. They help you with anything and everything you may need if at all possible. Love the people.

The Mission offers a lot of resources to those with lack in their life. I get my mail there and have for almost a year. They feed lunch Monday thru Friday from roughly 11:45 to 13:00. They offer showers and clothing vouchers. Someone with legal trouble can do community service. On certain days between certain times they give food boxes. Usually a pastor gives a sermon around 10:00. They have coffee and pastries when they open @ 9:00 and you can hangout and charge your phone. The Mission is closed Saturday and Sunday. Throughout the week the Mission stays open until 16:00 except on Friday when closing hour is right after lunch @ 13:00. The Mission can also direct people to other resources.

They not only feed those in need, but you can get a shower & they have a food pantry. If you just need a little extra boost of Jesus, they give a sermon before lunch every day they are open. They have been a blessing to me & my family.
