Adalberto's Mexican Food

During our Californian road trip 5 years ago, Adalberto was our cantine.
Going here again 5 years later revive so much good memories. It’s still the best Mexican food I’ve ever had.
Everything is perfectly cooked and to do for.
Beside that the food is fantastic and delicious, the prices are insanely low. It’s a great value for price.
I highly recommend Adalberto if you’re around, you won’t be disappointed.

Super nachos!! There carne asada is flavorful and cooked to perfection...good size amount to share... also had a taco De carnitas comes with two huge corn tortillas that you can split and make two tacos.... so delicious... definitely recommend....my hubs had the carne asada fries.....also ordered the Jamaica piña. So refreshing..Red salsa....honestly I like this place way better than Humberto's.

They have a drive-thru as well as parking and inside seating. The drive-thru was very busy on a Saturday and the line was going into the street...the parking lot and drive-thru are definitely too small. The wait was maybe around 20 minutes but the food tasted great (rolled tacos, carne asada fries, and horchata); the price for 2 meals and 2 large drinks was only $30! I would definitely come again. The employees were nice and hardworking also, especially in this heatwave California is having.

Old school taco shop with delicious food. My fiance recommended this place and I have to say it is now my favorite. The Carne Masada is very tasty and has lots of flavor. No fat in the meat and clean cut. I would highly recommend this place.

literally the best California burrito in the area. the burritos are huge, easily split with another person for a cheap filing meal. 13 bucks they are pretty much legit across the board, 24. hours and you can take your scooter through the drive thru with no hassle....

Their food is always delicious. Hits the spot Everytime . And the lady at the drive thru was very nice and had a excellent customer service attitude. 10/10 highly recommend. Carne asada fries are bangin. 🔥🔥🔥 Only 15$ bucks and it's more than enough food for me and my boyfriend to share.

I imagine Arnold Schwarzenegger after eating the delicious carne asada fries saying " I'll be back!" Cause that is exactly what I'll be doing every time I'm near downtown San Diego, coming back to this delicious and affordable food. I just moved to this area and I did not want to cook so I came here and ordered a chimney changa and I just could not stop eating, it was soooo freaking delish. I will be coming back 2-3 times a week. YES!!!¡

I have eaten here several times, and am always impressed with the burritos! Highly recommended it! Open 24HR and drive-thru makes it convenient too.

Right on the corner of Market and 25th. The food-OMG. Get a chicken taco with red hot sauce, and then whatever you want. There's usually a line so be ready to wait 15 min. They take their Pico de Gallo seriously so if you don't like fresh Pico de Gallo ask for your food without it.

Great Place to eat. Great hours...and I love me some Carne Asada Burrito...uh oh now I'm hungry...later!

Yummy food, great portions. We got carne asada plate and an order of carne asada fries ! The pickled carrots are so yummy along with the Green salsa.

The food was so good! The workers were so friendly! The vents are pretty gross so just eat outside or drive thru!

Quick and easy, chorizo breakfast burrito is well seasoned and fairly large, tortilla also has a fresh flavor. The asada has good flavor, not overwhelming. The carnitas is perfectly seasoned. The guac has a smooth taste to it. Red salsa is good, notes of tajin, hot but not burn your taste buds. The green salsa is s bit more on the vinegar side, heat is mild.

Quality ingredients and fresh, even at 2am on a weekday. That’s impressive.

I grew up in Sacramento and I absolutely love Adalbertos. Yes, I am biased 😁 but, for 24 hour drive thru burritos, they're my favorite.

Got the Sausage, potato, egg and cheese. It was phenomenal, granted eating this burrito gave me ton of nostalgia from when I was a kid, so I may be little bit bias.

The ingredients all the way down to the tortilla, just hit perfectly. The salsa which was provided (in very generous amount too at no extra cost) was perfect in flavor. Wasn't that spicy but was really good!

I also got the cheese quesidilla with carne asada. The cheese was amazing, and the entire meal was very satisfying.

Would definitely come back and recommend to all, food was made very fast but not skipped on quality.
