Had a great time at The Blind Borough! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, perfect for a night out.

The tacos were really interesting and packed with flavor—each one a delightful surprise. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who made great recommendations. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy some unique and delicious Mexican cuisine.

Wonderful food, service was extraordinary, and would definitely recommend this place. Tried the queso(amazing), wings(sauce was great), the cali machete, and ended with the housemade churros. Left overstuffed, but would do it again.

I had the pleasure of walking into this restaurant for a quick lunch. Taking a seat at the bar, I was greeted by "Marin", forgive me if I spelled this wrong. A smile and greet go a long way for a pleasant meal. Another nice touch was being offered to scan or read an actual menu. Many places assume you scan without so much of asking, it's the little things. Menu was simple yet covered the main foods. I ordered the carnitas " street tacos" they come in 3 with no side. However they do offer a selection larger "street Tacos" with a large tortilla and a side. I wanted to keep it authentic, and added black bean side. When the order came out, they were full and portioned nicely with plenty of meat. Now I'm uncertain who's recipe this is, but the flavor and marinade were outstanding. These rank as possibly the best tasting street tacos, perfectly portioned. The only down was the one slice of lime, an it was slightly dry, and that's nick picking. The beans came in a small cup, however once again, just the right amount and great flavor. Now here's a quirk on me, I'm very picky with mixture. The beans were perfect in with liquid and beans proportioned. Bartender, "Marin" asked if I wanted additional hot sauce, I bravely asked for the Habanero. Great choice plenty of heat so not for the weak. Overall a great place with a great first impression. Marin was a breath of fresh air in her profession, kudos. Prices are medium but it's California where you're charged for the air you breathe, but I digress. Highly recommend The Blind Burro.
In the photo I apologize for the eaten Taco, I couldn't wait it was that good.

Located on the corner of J st. & 7th Ave. near Petco Park. We've been coming to "The Blind Burro" for many years now because it never disappoints.

Today, I had their 'Burro-ito Barbacoa' which is slow braised beef burrito (a bit spicy) accompanied with a 'Strawberry Margarita'. My husband had their 'Carne Asada Chimichanga' which is a deep fried steak burrito. Both are pretty big in size and tasted delicious with fresh ingredients... We liked the Chimichanga a lot.

Shout out to our server 'Alyssa' who was very attentive and did not rush us at all.
The restaurant is always clean and organized with outside seating and plenty of TVs throughout so we enjoy watching sports here...the restrooms are also clean every time we've visited. It's always a great time here, which is why we return.

We go to the Blind Burro every time we go the see the Padres. We are an older couple and they have always been very accommodating with regards to our seating needs. The service is outstanding!! The food as well. Even when very crowded we are treated like it’s a family owned business, with family pride, which it is. The staff is always very friendly and polite. We have tried other restaurants near the park and the Blind Burro is by far the best. BTW: Their churros dessert is Incredible!

A nice local restaurant for a happy hour with a solid Mexican menu. The classic dishes were done well. Hearty serving of stacked nachos. Great flavor on the quesadillas. Come here for a relaxing experience with a laid back ambience. Friendly and efficient service.

Great place to take the kids. We had a group of 10, they were able to seat us right away during comic-con week. Luck or Great service. Either way, they were great 👍

Stopped in during Comic Con to get the Barbie Margarita (watermelon) and Ken shot. They were delicious. Staff was very friendly too, I asked if they had anymore Barbie promo menus because I wanted to hang one in my room and they found one for me to take home! Love them for that

I visited this location while attending a conference. It was super busy in the area and found that a lot of restaurants were rushing. However the waitress was patient when taking our orders and asking questions. I ordered the Salmon salad and it was filling and delicious. One of my coworkers ordered a machete fish and she said it was so good. It was huge so come with your appetite.

I am I. Town for a conference and not familiar with the area. Decided to check this place out.
The service was excellent my waitress was Alex and she made some solid recommendations.
Got the chicken enchiladas and they were out so fast. I basically inhaled my food but it tasted delicious.
The bed of black beans was hearty and healthy and I found the three small sized enchiladas were perfect for me as I was very hungry.
I also got the churros after dinner and they were fresh made and the dipping sauce was to die for.
Really great meal !

Amazing service, phenomenal food. I was never kept waiting for even water, and the staff was both playful and friendly. Love this place... Even though I dislike eating in public, I can't help but dine in here.

The food and service were excellent. Atmosphere was lively and every tv had the Padres game. We ordered the chicken pozole, and the panzenella salad - both excellent. The kids menu chicken taco was a hit too. The chips were hot, fresh & homemade. The skinny margarita was great. Highly recommend!

I loved this trendy, tasty, gem of a Mexican restaurant! My mom and i had an amazing time start to finish. Our waitress, (i think her name was Melissa), was very accommodating and was sure every thing was right. I’d loved her recommendation of the White Wine sangria!! Best I’ve had. You could tell everything was fresh. The tacos, chips, tortillas, salsas.. We even tried one of the spicier salsas!🔥 10/10 would recommend to eat here! Can’t wait to come back again
