Favorite lunch spot in downtown Harrisburg. My go to is the Italian, and when I want to switch up I get the manhattan. Their baked goods and tea are also great. Highly recommend. Always quick service

My company was having a meeting out of town. We called a before and Lloyd emailed me a PDF to send to our managers. On the day of the meeting I called and was able to email a picture of our large order! Lloyd emailed back to let me know they ran out of something and gave options for a substitute. They were able to accommodate our large party of 20 with a label for each order - first and last name!! AND got all orders correct!! Thanks so much Downtown!

For a while the Downtown Deli was not 1 of my favorite places. I felt the people at the register were kinda mean.
I wasn't going to return to the Deli but 1 day I saw and spoken to their Masked Employee who was dancing outside to car music
He was so nice & polite & took me by surprise of his knowledge of Bible Scriptures which goes a long way & it's obvious that he's touched by the spirit.
The fact that he keeps bright outlook on a job that he has held over 10 years has convinced me & my friends to return

We discovered DD several years ago. We get there about 2x's a year and always have had friendly quick service. My husband raved over the blueberry pancakes. I like their breakfast sandwiches and wraps, especially because the food is cooked fresh. We let others know about this little gem for comfort food. Prices are fair and much better than fast food places.

not in Harrisburg too often but had an hour to kill, so I went here for breakfast. The service was quick, and attentive; and the breakfast sandwich was delicious. If you're in the area, and aren't sure where to go; you definitely can't go wrong with the downtown deli.

My husband and I were traveling through and were actually on our way to Subway when he spotted this little deli. We always love supporting small businesses so we gave it a try and we are so glad we did! The food was amazing, the prices are reasonable and the staff knew almost all their customers by name! Definitely a place we would visit again!!

Very friendly employees. They make you feel very welcome. I had the french toast and sausage. It tasted great !! They use very thick bread for the French toast. I will definitely be back !!!! Thank You !!!!

The downtown deli always has great food and make great sandwiches I never had a great sandwich until I went there they are very polite friendly and the place is very very clean I enjoy every time I go there. And they know me by my name.

Very nice place to eat, I recently started working in Harrisburg and was looking to explore my food options instead of the same old same old and i kept on seeing Downtown Deli and today i walked in and got me a Downtown Sub and a Sweet Tea, they had homemade Sweet Tea and the soda machine had crushed ice, it was an awesome experience and good food. 😃

Absolutely love this place the bacon,egg and cheese sandwiches are incredible. Not only that the atmosphere is quiet and clean and the workers are nice, definitely coming back here sometime.

I REALLLLLY like this place. It's a simple deli with excellent food, excellent home-style service and they take great pride in their food prep and quality. Although I'm surrounded with full menu restaurants, I almost always choose The Downtown Deli. Highly recommended.

Very fresh food - reasonably priced and fast. The staff are all very nice and welcome you by name. Everything that I have had is great, but their breakfast foods and tomato soup is AWESOME!
