When I saw this spot was exactly like a real Spanish tapas bar, I mean it. You get the full experience.

Their food was mouth-watering and authentic. I thought their prices were really good too!
Their patatas bravas were some of the best I have ever had!
I highly recommend this spot!

Duende feels like a little slice of Spain in Hanover! Everything from tapas to the decor are so authentic. I have visited Spain a few times and love it very much, and dining at Duende made me feel like I was back in Granada without having to take a flight.
I love how the menu shows which region of Spain each dish is from. We have eaten here twice and so far everything has been delicious!
This restaurant is a great addition to Hanover, perfect for a date night or happy hour with friends. I would recommend it to everyone, and especially those who appreciate Spanish food and culture!

Found this gem last night and it's a definite keeper! Everything was excellent (and several dishes were better than my standby tapas places in DC). The flash friend eggplant with maple was *fantastic* as was the mashup of flan and bread pudding. What a gem in the upper valley. Don't miss it!

Decided to come here since Molly’s was over an hour wait. Glad we did! Our group of 4 ordered 8 tapas dishes with a pitcher of sangria and felt very satisfied with our choices. Overall great service and ambiance. Our top choices were the croquetas, fried eggplant with maple syrup, beef stew, patas bravas and sangria.

Duende provides a fun mix of food from various Spanish regions in Tapas or Ración sizes. The inviting atmosphere helps make the pace feel cozy.

We arrived a bit late, but the staff was so nice and accommodated us anyway. We just came back from a trip to Spain, and the food here was so good we felt like we were back there. The stew was rich and flavorful, the albondigas had great depth, and the croquettes were amazing. The fried eggplant was a revelation, like nothing we've ever had- in a good way. The absolute show stopper was the bread with ice cream... the kind of dessert you take one bite of and know you've found your happy place. The only thing we would have changed was having salt at the table because we like it, but it wasn't a big deal. On top of being delicious, it was also reasonably priced. They haven't been open very long, but we're hoping they stay around. If you've ever lamented the lack of variety in global cuisine here in the upper valley, please try this place.

What a wonderful place! We stumbled upon Duende the other day, and it was just what we needed. Delicious Spanish tapas served outdoors on a pleasant patio by a charming server. Turns out they had opened only the day before, and we are delighted to be among Duende’s first customers. We wish this terrific new restaurant much success.

Awesome food. Really nice place, music... I felt like in Spain. I'm from Madrid and it was 100% authentic, the paella unreal, one of the best I've had.
I can't wait to sit outside and have some tapas!

Lovely food, and good service. I am so happy that we have an authentic Tapas restaurant in Hanover. The Patatas Bravas were wonderful, and the pork dish was too.

Order at the bar. That is the tapas way. Also it is the way of fewer waiters.
