My favorite place and my safe place. They have such an amazing variety of books and incredible employees to help you find why you’re looking for. I just recently got back into reading and Book Buyers has been a constant for me. Such an inviting and cozy vibe. Plus an amazing vegan store right inside! What more could you want?!

Book Buyers in Charlotte has a decent collection of used books. We visited on a weekend and it wasn’t busy. Rows and rows of books, and helpful staff make for a pleasant visit.

The cats are fun to hang out with and appreciate all the scratches. It might not be the best idea to visit if you’re allergic to cats. I’ll be back here to browse more and hopefully buy some more books.

Great atmosphere and people. Vast book selection. The only complaint I have is that it’s expensive but the books are in like new condition so it balances out. There are some hilarious books out there which makes it fun just to browse. 😂😂😂

This place is like the Tardis, small on the outside but big on the inside. A very well stocked used book store, and they had cats! What more could you need?

The cutest used book store with the sweetest staff. I came in just to browse and loved that they had a front section with healthy snacks and environmentally conscientious products.

If you like books, cats and smooth jazz playing in background, drop in at Book Buyers. Lots of hardback, old, and interesting books, plus the Greener Apple mini store in the front (specializes in vegan, earth-friendly food & merchandise).

Love this bookstore! There is always a wide variety of used books. And then there's cats! It's a great place.

What a wonderful store to browse through! So many treasures in this store just waiting for you to come by and explore!! Snacks, books candles and vegan food this is a store where it is alllllll good! Leae is a delight to talk to and very helpful!

Wonderful second-hand bookshop in Charlotte. Lots of books of all sorts of genres available. Friendly owner and cute cat!

This place is cute and feels very comfortable. They also have cats walking around! I got a few really good books there they have an extreme variety.

Book Buyers is a great independent book store! We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the friendly staff and the cat! The selection was impressive and there’s an inviting reading area in store. Definitely worth a visit if in the Charlotte area.

Book Buyers is my go to place for all my book needs! Stellar customer service, an incredible selection of amazing books you didn't even know you needed, and a wonderful place to spend hours getting lost. I love the fact that it is family owned and they rescue kitties! It doesn't get better than this. Added bonus: The Greener Apple vegan and eco-friendly products in the front of the store! Another added bonus: the fact that they write the price carefully in pencil so you can gently erase it! I love that I don't have to deal with an annoying sticker to peel off. Another added bonus: always a wonderful and interesting conversation while checking out! Another added bonus: a shelf of freebie books and they allow you to select one on your way out! Book Buyers is an absolute gem and a gift to us all.

EXTENSIVE used book store. I've made several purchases including a 'like new' Bible, and a few Fantasy books in great condition.

I'm not saying Dina the cat was the best part, but I'm not NOT saying that. In all seriousness, the books were well organized and I picked up some great finds. Highly recommend stopping if you're in the area.

Wonderful shop. You have to dig a little to find books you might need, but it's a great opportunity to find something new. The staff is so nice and even provided some recommendations for local coffee since I am out of town. Their resident cats are too cute, I love that they support local shelters. I found some great vintage books, will definitely visit again whenever I'm back in town!

A great used book store. Very friendly staff who offer fair prices on my used books. I was also able to easily find new old books. Great collections especially of plays and song books.

I went searching for a book titled "The Book" I found several other interesting bibles, and was just as happy for the ones I found. One book was titled "The Living Bible"...OMG how about it was the same book, different title, slightly different translation due to it being revised, nonetheless this was the find and buy of the day for me. I will definitely visit this bookstore again.

I love this bookstore for many reasons. Although it's rare that it carries the book I'm looking for, it will provide me with books I DIDN'T realize I was looking for. It carries a few kittens and cats, which add to the experience because who doesn't love being greeted by friendly animals? It also carries vegan and mindfully created soaps, snacks, and other reusable products. I love coming here!

No matter where we go Mike and I LOVE to visit a used bookstore and this one didn’t disappoint. Great selection with some I have been looking for for a while. Would recommend them if your looking for a easy read or a difficult to find one. We will be back next time we are in town.
