Play It Again Sports Holly Springs

Absolutely amazing experience!! Workers were so helpful and cooperative, even with a weird request. Jay and Collin I believe we’re working when we came in? Fantastic employees! Worked with us and came to a great deal!! So happy to have a store like this nearby, this store is the closest play it again sports to our house, all I can say is it is worth the drive!!

This store sells new and used equipment. We tried out a few of the stationary bikes and Ada was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions.

This PIAS in Holly Springs is unlike any other I’ve been to. The store was clean, well stocked, and well organized. But it’s the staff that really sets this store apart from any other sporting goods store.
I was trying to find a VERY popular and hard to find USSSA baseball bat in an odd size, new or used, for my son so he could attend a last minute tournament and I had 24 hours to do so. I started calling every place I could think of around me. Some places even laughed when I told them what I was looking for, others didn’t even answer the phone .
After no less than 20 calls and no results, Colin, the manager of this store answered and, to my surprise he said “yes we have a NEW one, I’m looking at it now”. I thought I heard him wrong, but he verified the model and size.
I live well over an hour from this location so Colin held it for me until the next day. When I arrived, I was amazed at just how many NEW products they carry on top of all the nice pre owned items they have. I forgot the other 2 employees names, but they were all super cool and helpful. They signed me up for their rewards program so I have a $40 in store credit the next time I visit.
Sorry for the long review, I just felt it necessary to share my experience with this small store tucked away in a strip mall in Holly Springs. Service like I experienced is a rarity these days. I can think of several other big box sporting goods stores and at least one other PIAS location (looking at you Greenville) that could take some pointers from these guys. Thank you Colin and crew.

Play it again sports is a much needed and always relevant store to shop at! I’m used to shopping at the Play It Again in Cary Crossroads shopping center and this was my second time at the Holly Springs location and I was very impressed with the cleanliness and organized layout of the store! The Cary store is always BEYOND cluttered, but it’s part of its charm. This Holly Springs location is set up like a new sporting goods retail store should be, with everything labeled in sizes and a practice area for golf putting as well.

Super friendly staff and just an all around cool place. Prices are fair and there is a wide selection of sporting stuff to try before you buy.

Check this place out! Lots of gear in good condition! The young lady that works here is super helpful every time I go in.

My family and I came to the store today to purchase bicycles and to sell a jogging stroller. We were greeted by many friendly faces and loads of offers to help us any way they could. This store gave us an excellent trade in value for our stroller and we found 3 new bicycles to purchase. The sales staff were helpful in replacing my husband's bicycle seat and also repairing a tire on the bicycle for me. I was very impressed with the kindness and efficiency we experienced today. The store was very busy with shoppers but we still recieved lots of help with our purchases. I will frequent this store often and highly recommend them to others! Thank you!!

Got in and out in about 15 minutes. Folks were very quick to point us to the section where our intended purchase was, what standard equipment should we be looking at, etc. Definitely a place I'd look at again for my used sports equipment needs in the future.

This store is a breath of fresh air compared to other cramped and disorganized nearby locations...it's become our go to location for sporting goods even though it's a bit of a longer drive. Today, I came in to get a baseball bat for my son and we received amazing customer service from Shelby. She was extremely knowledgeable about bat brands /models and she worked hard to find the right option for my son versus just trying to sell us on the most expensive item. That's the sort of thing that will keep us coming back for years to come. This is a great local business to support.

It saw a jogging stroller on the website and called the store. The person I spoke with was extremely helpful, but he explained that they did not ship items. A short while after our conversation, the owner called me and said he would be willing to price shipping, and if I agreed to the cost he would ship the stroller to me. Sure enough, he did the legwork and called me back with the cost. I ordered the stroller and am looking forward to receiving it. The price was good. The service even better! I can recommend doing business with this store!

I bought a weight cage/Smith Machine and other pieces and got great service. I needed a few extra things to make it a little more new and they researched it/googled it and sent me links to what I was looking for. Good customer service is hard to come by these days and it was great to get it here! They have a huge assortment of everything and they all are very knowledgeable. THANKS!!

This is such an awesome Play It Again! I've been to many and other cities and the staff here are really knowledgeable and helpful. I had to get some softball and t-ball equipment for two of my daughters and they helped me get everything I needed at a great price while I was wrangling my two little ones. They have a great selection and all those things are a bit pricey for used, it's worth it when you get all of it together. A One-Stop shop.

Amazing customer service! I took my daughter into the store to buy a bike. She couldn't find any she liked in the current stock so Wayne the owner offered to send me pictures of other options when he went to restock. She chose one from the pictures and he brought it back for her the next day. Wayne absolutely went above and beyond!

Great place for sporting goods, especially if you've got kids growing into and out of sports gear and you don't want to break the bank every season. Awesome selection of bikes and exercise equipment too. Definitely the place to go for great prices on the gear you're looking for!

Wayne the owner went out of his way and took the skis I was buying to the post office and packages them up extremely well and shipped them to me in Colorado. They arrived in perfect condition. Thanks for the great service and prompt responses to my texts. I would definitely recommend this to anyone thinking about using Play It again sports. Thanks Wayne
