Flour Shoppe Cafe

At first I wasn’t sure if this cafe would have any type of food that would be substantial but boy was I wrong. The food was delicious! Good portions for the price too. The staff was wonderful! Very welcoming, kind and helpful. Can’t wait to come back to get these chicken and waffles again!

Wow - 1st time here. The food is amazing. The ambience is worth seeing. Highly recommended. Ashley was great. Took her time to explain all the different breakfast items. Check out the place. Will not regret.

This cafe blew me away!!!! We stumbled on it when walking down Main Street looking for a breakfast spot. What a gem. The atmosphere was so cozy and welcoming, you are greated and served with such enthusiasm. The food was outrageous!! All the different flavors that worked so well together without competing with each other. I recommend the wild mushroom omelette. It had caramelized onions, mushrooms, and goat cheese. Best omelette I have ever eaten! Will be back again and again.

We went here for the first time today for breakfast. It is where the old taco restaurant used to be. People were very nice and food was very good. They had a bigger menu than we expected. They also have a good variety of coffee/espresso and clearly know what they’re doing when it comes to coffee. I would recommend trying this place out.

This was a lovely experience. Danielle created an excellent experience for our complicated and large group. The food was great and even though we asked for certain adjustments - they handled it in stride. 10/10! Ashely handled us super well and was an amazing part of the team. Thank you!

A dark wood place with low volume music that adds to the relaxing and restful vibe. There's a bunch of places to sit to dine in; tables for two or four, window bars, and cafe bar. The layout is nice because the center of the room is open for people getting food and coffee to go. Food came out super fast, and is great cafe quality. We had some of their baked goods and they were tasty and would pair well with their coffee to balance the sweetness.

We tried the croque madame and le grand BLT (with an egg). Both were good portions, really delicious and balanced, and did not overcompensate with huge accompaniments ( a few pieces of fruit to cut how creamy-rich the croque madame is, and a few home made pita chips for the BLT). The food was fresh, hot, and not greasy.

I'd recommend coming here during off hours or weekday if you like the quiet and would like to recharge outside of the home. Place was well heated in the wintertime.

By the way, they do sell their bacon jam. It's tasty!!!

I’ve been there a couple of times. Have always been very friendly. Food is consistently delicious no matter what I’ve eaten there. Even my picky. 10-year-old enjoys.

Employees were so nice & patient to us as people who came her first time to eat. The sticky bun pancakes were AMAZING. So so good ! There are vegetarian options such as the hummus wrap which was delicious as well.

This is hands down my favorite place to meet friends for breakfast or lunch! Every meal I've had here has been delicious! The service is THE BEST, the folks who work here are all so friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed, not rushed, calm and familiar. Flour Shoppe Bay Shore is top notch in every single category. I've been here many times and many more to follow!

Great Staff , Fantastic ambiance , Tasty food. I had the chicken n waffles sandwich and it was very good as the chicken was as the star. Tough Man Columbia’s coffee was worth every nickel. Can’t wait to go back

This place has the most amazing baked goods, especially the croissants! The food is excellent, the waitstaff is super friendly. However, the manager or owner (whoever she is) has been so fiercely rude to her employees that it makes it difficult to return. We've witnessed her aggressively disciplining and barking commands on two separate occasions, and it does make us hesitant to support a company that would allow such behavior.

Another Great Addition to Bay Shore. Our Food and Coffee's were delicious. Very good service. Casual Cafe style dining room. Loved everything about it.

Always have an amazing experience every time I come to eat. The coffee is delicious(aka I am a coffee addict) and the food always puts a smile on my face and delicious. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. One of my go to work spots! I also love the merch!!💙🩵💙🩵💙

Very nice atmosphere. Seems like a nice place to hang out. I came for some pickup and the pastries were really good. Particularly enjoyed the croissants and the brownies and cookies 🍪

Couldn’t wait to try this cute cafe for brunch after hearing great reviews about it. The food was delicious! The service and staff were friendly and attentive. We had such a great time. Will definitely be returning.

The place itself is so cute inside! Love the vibes & the feel. The sandwiches are DELICIOUS. We went in and shared the Dewey sandwich which was so good. The homemade tortilla chips are to die for! Sandwich was big enough for us to share. Love the unique drinks too. On our first visit, we booked them for an upcoming party. We worked with Ashley and she was WONDERFUL! We chose 2 sandwich trays with 4 different sandwich options - The Dewey, Chicken Salad, Eggplant & Ham & Cheese. They were all such a hit we barely had leftovers. Our guests raved about the food! We also ordered a half size salad which was so nicely done and definitely fed more people than we thought it would. Ashley/The Flour Shoppe delivered to us and brought plates, napkins, silverware and even threw in a pastry platter which was so incredibly thoughtful and also delectable. Delivery & all the fixings were so helpful and really made throwing a party so much easier for us. I cannot wait to order from them again for more parties and look forward to stopping in to try more of their sandwiches. Definitely stop in to try them out! Thank you, thank you!

Visited family in town and needed a quiet space to work. Fell in love with this cafe! Great food and vibe. I had the breakfast burrito and crumb cake- both excellent. Coffee was so good! I bought a bag to go :)

Beautiful new cafe, super energized and friendly staff, extra yummy homemade pastries and coffee drinks. A great looking menu as well, can't stop looking at all the insta-worthy plates heading out of the kitchen. Shattered the diet with an apple crumb donut!
