We don't often write reviews but our stay at this campground was excellent, and we wanted to say so. The sites were fairly level, and the manager was there to guide us in. The restrooms were clean and the store has ice and firewood. The management was very friendly and they provided entertainment every day or night. There was line dancing, pickleball, bonfire and an evening of music trivia, karaoke, and talent show. All the other campers were friendly and it felt like a big extended family. Also, PJ is an excellent artist and has a gallery in the office. This is our new favorite campground in North Georgia.

We had a wonderful time singing karaoke and meeting the campers. Music hall is awesome! Really enjoyed meeting PJ and Louie, they were very outgoing and willing to help in anyway they could! The park is very clean and the RV spots are very nice. Will definitely be back there next year.

Totally loved it! Five stars! Owners are fabulous and helped me when i needed them. Had to cut my stay short and they kindly worked with me. The campground is clean landscaped shaded and the views are great! Not a bad site anywhere. Will be back!

Love love love this place. It has to be our #1 favorite place to camp. The hosts make you feel like you’re their best friends and are so happy to see you. You can be fully entertained while never leaving the campground.

Mountain View campground is absolutely the best campground in North Georgia. The owners are actively engaged with all the campers and keep the place manicured. So many great activities that help you mingle with the other campers and are just plain fun. You need to experience it for yourself

All you need to know is this place is a multi-year winner of best campground in the NATION... Nothing can add to that. Very family and couples friendly campground central to water falls. Lake and trail hiking... Hiawassee is close and has everything you might have forgotten and a fantastic grocery store (Ingles)... I have stayed in many camp grounds and for hospitality none comes close... Book early as it is well known to fill up quick ..

The very attentive onsite owners take great pride in
1. Making sure all the RV sites are razor edge level, clean with full hookups
2. Bath houses and laundry areas are very clean
3. Providing group entertainment and activities on selective evenings in a rebuilt small theater environment.
4. A comfortable place to be ..

Peaceful and quiet (mainly adults and a few teens, no little kids). Our first stay, and we'll be back. Super-friendly owners work hard to make your stay great. We met a few couples that enjoy the park so much that they return often enough that the owners know them by name. The entire park was clean and well-kept.

Friendliness, experiences provided, receding packages for us, comradery, nearness to so many falls, hikes, and other mountain towns, beauty and the heart of the owners, Louie and PJ, all blend to make Mountainview Campground feel like your home away from home.

PJ and Louis become your personal concierge providing information, live entertainment, great gathering area on the big porch, and even dance lessons. They’re fabulous and so is the campground! Small, clean, and quaint! Love MVC and already have our reservations for next year made.

I've never quite had a camping experience like this the owner operators are very personable and interact with each of the guests, in an extraordinary way. They take the time to get to know the guests and actually hang out with them I was there for the 4th of July week and it was a really good time they had a great band. The potluck with the food was incredible. They also had some awesome fireworks at the end of the night..will definitely recommend .

There's a picture of me cutting up the rug 😂

We camped here for 6 nights with our two kids (ages 7 and 12) in a 36 ft fifth wheel camper in the summer during a month+ long trip from Florida to the Smokies and back. This was, hands down, one of the best maintained campgrounds we stayed at. Everything was clean and comfortable. There are beautiful views of the north Georgia mountains from all around. I've added a bunch of 360 degree photo spheres so you can get an idea of what the sites are like. The couple that run it are super sweet - they helped us get parked (not always easy for us as we are new campers), provided plenty of advice of things to do in the area, and they kept the campground in really nice condition. The common area in the middle is really big - lots of seating inside and outside. I work remotely so I was able to take my laptop over and sit at a table or in a rocking chair and take in the scenery while I worked. The campground is far enough removed from the local town to have that rural feel, but close enough (10-15 mins) to grab groceries or have a nice dinner out. Our only disappointment was that there weren't any other kids there during our stay, but that's not the fault of the campground. We will most certainly come back!

We had the best time. Met lots of great people. Very nice site, bathrooms were very nice and clean. The laundry room was great too. PK and Louie were the absolute best hosts. Live music and had 2 fantastic singers on Sunday (5-28). Small very quiet and cozy campground. Will definitely be back. Full hook up and internet was a definite plus.

What a fabulous camping experience! From the moment we arrived and were greeted to our departure when we got hugs! Louie and PJ are amazing hosts. Clean, beautifully landscaped, fun and family friendly. I can't say enough about what a lovely campground this was. It was like going home!❤

Absolutely a must stay. The owners and campground blew our expectations away. This gem sets the bar for how all campgrounds should be run. The owner out so much of their love into this place, so enjoyable with Karaoke at the music barn, meet and greet, clean and well kept and so much fun history. We thought the karaoke and meet and greet might be a little cheesy but we met some of the most wonderful people and had so much fun in the music barn. Lots of places to explore near by and some great hiking. Highly recommend!!

PJ, Louie, and Peanut make this campground my new favorite getaway. The surroundings are beautiful, and the activities are so much fun. You can choose a quiet night watching the stars, or dance under them to live music. It is a wonderful place to be. I will definitely be back as soon as possible.

My sister and brother in law recommended this place over and over again and we finally got to experience it first hand over Memorial Day weekend. Being from Florida the cool air, mountains, and most importantly the peace and quiet really moved us. Great starting point for all hikes in north Georgia, perfect sites, and friendly owners. We will be back for sure, this place is a hidden gem!
