Fun, fast, and friendly. I really enjoyed the vibe of this place and the live band was absolutely wonderful. I couldn’t believe how much food and drink we got for so little money. I would 100% come back here

We dined here yesterday evening, and it was a great experience. It is very clean, and everything feels homey, with wooden floors and walls, a nice atmosphere. Their large Happy Hour margaritas were HUGE! Our server, Jonathan, was so kind to us about being vegetarians and warned us about some sauces that had meat and which substitutes would be best. He even added different veggies to the vegetable quesadilla because I don’t like mushrooms! I was so happy to not be treated like a burden, this guy really was the nicest to both of us. Thank you again, we had a lovely experience!

So happy to have La Cabana open! The atmosphere and staff are amazing and the food is even better. Went with the family not even a week after their soft opening and had a great time. They were short staffed still, but did a great job getting food and drinks out in a timely manor with a full house and people waiting to be seated. We had Manny as our waiter and he was so great and very personable. He made all of us laugh and was even trying to teach my husband how to pronounce certain dishes. I've been to a lot of Mexican restaurants in the area and La Cabana takes the cake. There are more authentic dishes as well as the menu is more customizable than anywhere around. Hubs loved the pig molcajete! They even have little pitchers for sodas and water. Will def be going back soon! Highly recommend!

Stopped in just to get a take out menu and everyone was so nice here.. they gave me a short tour and some free chicken and beef nachos which were delicious.. fantastic hospitality and friendliness.. lots of people were eating and the place looked very clean.. he told me that they just got their license to sell alcohol so they have margaritas too.. I'll definitely go back to eat very soon.. Finally got by to eat.. everything was very good and the service was spot on.. the drinks are served in a small picture so you don't go thirsty..

Wonderful food and fantastic service. Beautiful, clean atmosphere. The guys running it are very friendly and make the experience lots of fun. Great restaurant all around and definitely the new favorite. Please have patience as they get more employees, they’re working very hard to give you a good experience while very understaffed as it’s their first week open.

1st time eating here and food was amazing! Definitely plan to go back! I got the sampler appetizer, and it did not disappoint.

If you haven't been yet, you need to get there now! Live music on Saturday nights, foot ball games on huge screens, AWESOME people that work there. Home of the old Triple R BBQ! The dining room is so comfy with giant private booths and l9g cabin atmosphere. I can't say enough!!! Eduardo will ensure you have the best dining experience yet!!!

Edwardo is a state treasure and im overwhelmed by the accommodations on Super Bowl Sunday by the staff and team members. Multiple sauces and salsas for the chips, great food and amazing drinks. The margaritas were on point and we had a service that rivaled no other. It’s refreshing to be asked “what can we do better?” rather than “how is service?” There are no better restaurants in north Alabama than La Canaña by Juan’s.

We love love love La Canana’s by Juan! The entire experience every single time we have come is top notch, from the service to the food to the live music! This is the only Mexican restaurant we will go to and Juan is simply the best and nicest guy! Definitely a must try and repeat place to eat!

This is the best Mexican food in town, by far!! If you haven't yet, stop in and try the food.

Update: We are now regulars at La Cabaña and the food is still excellent and comes out quickly. They have kept working on the restaurant's interior since they opened and the atmospere is great. Everyone who works here is friendly and nice, they make you feel welcome. We will be stopping by often for lunch and dinner.

Original review: I am so so happy that La Cabaña is finally open! I have been looking forward to it since the sign went up. I went tonight and had an absolutely wonderful experience.

All of the staff is very friendly and hardworking. It was super busy but we had plenty of room between us and other tables, and our food came out quickly! The restaurant was very clean and our server was super kind and attentive and we got refills of our drinks frequently.

The food was incredible. It is truly authentic Mexican food, even the more tex-mex options are as good as I could find in El Paso or New Mexico where I used to live. The food was absolutely delicious and arrived fresh and hot! The steak is so tender and flavorful. The chicken had excellent flavor and was velvety soft.

If you're worried about food being too spicy, don't be! Everything I had was very flavorful without being too 'hot' spicy for my family members who dont like spice at all. If you like spicy, ask for the in-house green salsa or their house hot sauce, which are plenty spicy!

I will definitely be coming back often and bringing my family and friends.

We love this restaurant! They are always friendly and the food is delicious every time. Whether we have gone for date night, or with the kids, it's always a great experience.

Excellent service and excellent food. I've got a particular love of Juevos Rancheros, and my wife is fond of margaritas. Both were very good here.

From my first step in the door the staff were pleasant and the atmosphere was mellow. The service was fast and the manager was humorous and attentive. I had steak, chicken, and shrimp tacos that were amazing. My kids had chicken quesadillas and they raved about the taste. The drink menu was respectable and reasonable priced. Overall this is a top notch establishment and your missing out if you don't give it a try.

This was by far one of the best Mexican restaurants we've ever been to. The food was incredible. The employees are so friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Amazing place such good food and amazing service I would recommend. It was my first time friendly service food was hot and came fast. Reasoable prices. Check them out you won't be sorry.

My wife, two daughters, and I had honestly one of, if not the best dining experiences in Scottsboro when we ate here. The service was phenomenal. EVERY employee greeted us with a smile and they were super attentive, regardless of if they were are server or not. The food came out quickly and was delicious.

They probably have the best salsa in town and I honestly just couldn't get over how nice every employee was. We will certainly be back and we can't wait.
