There are other post offices closer to my home, but I choose to drive a little further to use the Des Peres facility. The staff there have been much more personable and helpful than other post offices. As others have shared, Dottie rocks passport renewals! She carefully reviewed our applications today, stapled our checks to the appropriate spot on the form, and told me when and how to check on the progress of our renewal. Thank you Dottie!

My daughter and I went to the Des Peres Post Office to renew her passport. We didn’t have an appointment but Dottie went above and beyond to still help us with the process. She was incredibly kind and thorough. Des Peres Post Office is lucky to have such a wonderful employee.

Dottie helped me expedite my car passport. Best postal experience I have ever had.

My fiance and I went to send in our passport information and we fudged the paperwork. We worked with Dottie and she was the absolute best. She was extremely patient with us and helped us right what we messed up. Highly recommend working with them here

Went for my twin children’s passports. The two ladies were very efficient and friendly. Inspite of going with two toddlers , the staff was patient. Very smooth process. Thank you USPS Des Peres.

Chris is our mailman and he is phenomenal and one of the best parts about living on our street. He is upbeat, punctual, and cares about everyone I believe. He is the highlight of our day and we love getting to see him each day. I have lived here for 5 years and have been meaning to write this for awhile.

I am always happy to do business with this post office. The staff is friendly, polite and resourceful. What a difference comparing to Kirkwood post office!

I was so impressed with the customer service at this location! I made a mistake while using a prepaid shipping label. The employee, Sandy, was incredibly kind and patient with me and guided me through the process. Keep up the great work!

After receiving VERY poor service from the Kirkwood branch (for years) I decided to try the Des Peres location. What a difference! Prompt courteous service (with a smile) I will always use this branch in the future!

I was trying to send a valentine gift for my daughter . I was not sure what bag or box I should use. I asked Sandy and she was very helpful and helped my all the way through. Thanks for a good job.

Debra the manager was very helpful and polite on the phone while helping me figure out where our package had gone. Much more helpful than my local PO from which we had mailed the package. Thanks, Debra!

I ordered my package on the 19th hoping it would be here by christmas but it wasn't shipped until the 21st and wasn't supposed to arrive until the 26th but they got it to me by the 23rd was very happy. Representative was very helpful.

Excellent staff and always nice!!

It used to be excellent but it has deteriorated. Long wait lines. A lack of concern from staff. One staff working on a Saturday.

I will be visiting the Des Peres post office tomorrow. Rarely will USPS PUT a Package at our door as does AMAZON, fed ex and UPS. WHY. WHY. ??? Once our mailbox fell over because of heavy rains and the guy put the package on the curb! Yes, of course we fixed the box the next day. We live up a gravel driveway! It’s not more than a 2 house length. The USPS GUY has a truck for heavens sake, a small truck !! Drive package up or walk it up! Yes walk! A novel idea but other delivery people work long hours and they walk it up and put on porch. Once he tried scrunching a package into our mailbox and we had to pry it out!! TODAY a package I was really needing and wanting was stolen from my mailbox at the bottom of our driveway ! Tracking shows that BOTH were delivered at 3:21 and 3:20. Ps. We have 2 labs but they were inside in crate. Well... we only got one package! The other is missing. Tracking shows that both were left in mailbox. Ummmm. Why would a thief open our mailbox and only take ONE package!? I suspect that the package with my thick turtleneck was because it would not fit in box and was left propped up on ground next to mailbox and then stolen. Thanks lazy mail carrier! Yes, I am upset! We work hard for our money here. I had deep respect and like for our former mailman. Not this one. I will be going into the PO in the morning. (Ps. My last name is not Davis, I will fix). UPDATE: package did arrive today and on my porch stoop which I love. The new regular carrier, LTanya was not on duty day of recent incident and was very apologetic. Also the supervisor at office named Deborah was also very nice, apologetic and said it is unacceptable to leave packages by curb. Still can’t put stars better than a 3 but Deborah and LTanya deserve a higher rating. Thanks !
