So pleasant to speak with. You can tell he loves his chocolate business. He treated us like family. We are happy we were able to find his local business in The Best of Central PA book- Live.Work.Play. Such a helpful book for visitors. It was in our hotel.

We adore Frederich and his sons! All of the pastries and bakery items are outstanding. We celebrate every family occasion with these treats. The shop is so clean and tastefully decorated.

Super delicious treats. Saturday morning desserts are to die for. Super reasonable prices as well. While the chocolates that are available throughout the week are a little pricey, they are certainly worth it. Hand-made chocolate is an art. These are not your homemade chocolates your mom makes. Frédéric Loraschi is world-class chocolatier and a super nice guy as well.

Frederic Loraschi is a true hidden gem! On a back street off of Jonestown Road, they have chocolates, ice cream, drinking chocolate mix, macarons, French pastries, pie, and so much more! We loved the croissants and Macarons! Definitely coming back ASAP to try more items! Yum 😚

The owner is so awesome! We came in and talked chocolate with him for at least 10 minutes while we struggled not to buy one of everything. The chocolate has the perfect level of flavor without being overly sweet or having the complimenting flavors overtaken by chocolate. Each chocolate has this perfect thin crispy shell and the filling is incredible. Worth the 48-minute drive I have to take to get here.

Frederic Loraschi's Chocolate and various other desserts/pastries are very beautiful on its looks and on its taste. My father and I will most definitely come back for more.

Amazing chocolates. The staff and owner are so nice. They were filling molds with chocolate marshmallow and my grandson was fascinated with it. We brought our purchases to the car and the owner came out with a small cup of the marshmallow for him. How sweet of them to do that. Love this place. 😀

A master craftsman and his team have created a truly luxurious confectionery experience. Outstanding chocolate and confectionery creations with old world charm and single-source uniqueness. A true delight. Customer service is outstanding.

We drove all the way from Williamsport to experience these chocolates and they are worth ever mile we drove. Flavors are amazing and the mouthful is to die for, super silky and smooth. But, what made it really great was the customer service. The counter person was amazing and the owner even gave my son a special treat. These people could not be anymore professional or pleasant. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Frederic Loraschi makes the best croissants I have EVER had! Flaky and soft with unique and perfectly executed flavors! My husband and I look forward to Saturday croissants all week. You will not be disappointed.

These are far from the only things I've ever purchased at Frederic Loraschi Chocolate but they are two of the newest since he started making handmade, gourmet ice cream.

Frédéric Loraschi is the hidden gem of Harrisburg. I went there for the croissants/quiche on Saturday morning and yes they were amazing but what really blew my tastebuds out of the water were their delicious chocolates. I don't know why I haven't been lucky enough to experience Frédéric Loraschi chocolate until now but believe me I'll be making up for lost time!

Amazing chocolate shop! Not only is the chocolate high quality and well priced, but the experience of visiting was wonderful. My husband and I decided to check it out on a whim and were greeted by the (award winning) chef who gave us a little tour of all the chocolates, candies, and French baked goods (macarons and a specialty pastry on Saturdays). We also got to sample a lovely lavender chocolate. I normally don't like anything floral but it was one of the best chocolates I've ever had.

We ended up buying a custom box, which we are thoroughly enjoying. This is a place we plan to go any time we want a special treat and we both highly recommend it.

Unique Chocolate flavors and design. They also sell Cookies. On Saturdays they sell Souffles. A must visit to to take in the exquisite chocolate artistry.

I don't know how this place stays so small. Frederic is an absolute sweetheart who personally greets you and you can tell this is where his heart is. The chocolate is a dream. It's so beautiful that you almost don't want to eat it and when you do, it's like what I imagine hearing for the first time is like. It taste like a beautiful Symphony written for you being sung by an angelic chorus that's being delivered to you on a bed of the world's softest feathers at sunrise. So worth the trip from Baltimore to Harrisburg. I'll be stopping there before I visit my sister every time.

Bought the Valentine's Day croissants with almond cream & violet water. DECADENT!
Also, bought the Madagascar and Guatemalan chocolates and had a tasting party to see if we could detect the notes that are printed on the back of bag.

Stepping into Frederic's store I was immediately greeted with delectable smells and an inviting chef. We conversed delightfully and I was warmed by his personality and candor. And as much anticipation as I had to try these sweets, I was not prepared for the truly amazing flavour sensation that transcends my descriptions. It's an event to try his creations.. and it needs to be described by emotions. It's not just enjoying a truly delicious dessert, but experiencing greatness
