Highlands Tavern

All I can say is “WOW!” I wasn’t planning to leave a review, but we were blown away by our appetizer. The humus was literally the best we’ve ever had (and we order it almost anywhere that has it on the menu). And you can tell it was great because I almost forgot to take a picture..

The steak sandwich was absolutely amazing, the chicken sandwich was perfectly cooked, and so tender. The sides (glass noodles, and spicy cucumbers) were unreal as well. The slight Asian-influence really took things to the next level. The staff was amazing and so sincere. Drinks were great. Could not recommend this place enough. It’s seriously in my top 10 restaurants I’ve ever been to!

Creative menu. Salads were pretty good. PLEASE NOTE, THE MENU CHANGES EVERY WEEK. if you like something from the Google pics, it may not be there on the menu when you visit. Small number of seats but that's a good thing.

Chef seemed very interactive with customers. Send like lot of locals in the restaurant.

Genuine staff and savory food. The chicken curry, Tuna, and salads with a protein are our favs — get the bacon app for a decadent treat. We’ve been a dozen times now and honestly it’s great every time. Getting a seat can be tough but it’s worth continuing to try.

IGreat menu!! I don’t eat meat so I was delighted with the Jackfruit option paired with a most delicious spicy Asian side salad.. My husband had a burger served with freshly made potato salad. Our cocktails and my husband’s beer were not disappointing. The atmosphere is casual but upscale. Definitely looking forward to coming back again..

Very classic pub, not a whole lot of space for groups and service at the bar is wonderful. Everything we had exceeded expectations. They cooked everything exactly as we requested and the flavors were a delight. Bring your appetite, everything was generous.

Food was actually 11 stars, if we could give it! Very local place with an amazing, unique menu. Was recommended to us by a local bartender, and it met and exceeded expectations! One of the best meals I have had in a long time!

A true gem of Highlands! The service is always great and the food is unforgettable. If curry is on the menu, you should get it, the Salmon salad is phenomenal. Pretty sure you can't have a bad meal here.

Steak sandwich is the best steak sandwich I have ever had. Tandoori Hummus is unique and packs so much flavor. Spicy cucumbers and potato salad also fantastic. Overheard multiple folks mention that the burger was the best they have ever had too. Fantastic food in a very cool tavern atmosphere.

Service here was so outstanding, guy was fast, dry humor was on point, food was mouthwatering, burger was so juicy no ketchup needed, sandwiches were HUGE. Everyone has leftovers, Bro starter was so immaculate, so much color, it was an explosion of flavors coming from every corner. Thankful to run into people who have so much love into what they do it's overwhelming in every aspect; food, service & atmosphere. A+ Kicks the snot out of the "fine dinning" a block over.

Amazing food, location, and staff. If you go here, definitely get the artichoke dip. Some of the best food we had on our entire one week vacation.

Oh my goodness. This place is a gem. The curry and wedge was amazing. My two little boys had the brisket hamburgers made to order. Chef Kim came out and she was a pleasure. She is so talented and has to be the best around.

This place is special. Really wonderful food and you can tell the staff is passionate about putting smiles on their patrons' faces. It's a bit of a tight space and often crowded, but worth the wait. The brisket burger is excellent. The chef came out to deliver desert to us, and I could once again tell that this was someone who loved their job. Wonderful atmosphere and a menu that is both delicious and original. Probably my favorite spot in Highlands, can't recommend enough.

First time here after wasting time down the street at Wolfgang's Bistro trying to get anyone to even drop off a menu.

What a blessing I left and came to Highlands Tavern. Staff is a cohesive, warm, friendly, customer-service orientated team. Manager is on the floor, working hard and constantly interacting with customers.

Food was delicious. I asked for a side-salad on my order. Chef, very sweet, came out and asked me and other customers if everything OK. What a nice touch.

I've been here for 4 months. Some good restaurants in town. This one deserves your time and attention.

First time at this wonderful tavern. It's small and was full when we arrived on a Monday night. We quickly had a table. The food was outstanding. Steak sandwich, burger and salad was top notch not regular bar food. Waiter was friendly and helpful. Great drinks BTW!

Great new place. Andrea is so kind and warm. She was the perfect example of all the things a bartender can and should be. She went above and beyond with the service and I couldn’t recommend giving her a visit more.

Both of our meals as well as the focaccia, hummus and coffee cheesecake were absolutely extraordinary! The staff and the phenomenal chef were also kind, attentive and shockingly quick!

We happened to see the sign and knew it was a new place. So we walked in sat at the bar and had their tuna tartare. It was excellent. Sandi at the bar also made a great old fashion. We liked it so much we came back for dinner. My wife had the curry entree and I had the elk. Great food and awesome presentation. A great addition to the highlands. We will be back again soon.

This place is amazing! We had the Korean eggs, butternut squash and split the bacon wrapped chicken. There are no words to express how delicious it all was. The Korean eggs are a must try! Our waitress Sammie was just wonderful
