Hands down the best natural grocery store in San Diego! Such a wide selection of produce, canned goods, and meats with a wonderful kitchen and friendly staff too. It's great to see a store like this within the community!

Fantastic locally owned grocery. They have a full deli making some of the best and healthiest sandwiches and smoothies in town. I love supporting local shops especially great owners and amazing staff and service members. This place is worth the visit. Stop in and see the locally sourced produce and eat some delicious food they prepare daily.

The deli has the best sandwiches and I love all the vegan options that you can not find elsewhere. Definitely worth the visit.

Support independent local! This place is like throwback to the OG health food stores in the 80s. It has that good healthy smell. Tight isles packed with everything you really need, with helpful, friendly employees. They don't have as many brand choices as the big name health food chains that exist now, but I was amazed to truly find EVERYTHING I needed (and wanted) for a 2 week stay in an apartment nearby, walking distance. Amazing what's packed into the nooks of this store!

A very Kool and hip natural store. Has interesting items and packed to get as much on shelves as possible. Staff is pleasant. Not much in way at the Deli for plant based folks, but can find something to munch on if just coming through. Parking available. In response to mgmt: the menu board at the time did not display any variety, I must had missed the paper menu. I will reach out next visit for something other than a veggie sandwich. Regardless, the store still get 5 stars as it is unique and serves the community. it feels welcoming...

Love COTC! Great little neighborhood market. Plenty of parking, good grocery selection (even frozen foods). They even have a deli with delicious sandwiches and prepared foods. Fresh produce.

Don’t forget their extensive supplements section. Everything you need before beach time.

The best place to find healthy natural organic food and groceries on the North SD coast. A great selection of tasty and healthy food in a small store on PCH1. Still going strong after decades of great food!

Shopped here several times on my week stay in the Carlsbad area. I love independent health food stores like this one. I wish we had more of them in Colorado. This small but plentiful grocery store carries so many delicious fresh and packaged goods. They also have a sandwich and fresh meals counter for picnics and prepared meals. I bought their prepared tuna salad and a few other freshly made salads that were delicious. Staff is very nice and friendly. They have a great selection of supplements and skin care products as well.

Wheat grass! Fresh, homemade veggie sandwich, hand lotion and toothpaste along the way. Off to my open house on suenos 4bd w/pool/private...825...!

I absolutely love love love this market! It is so cute and low key and it has been around for ages!!! Their deli sandwiches are out of this world, they use the freshest ingredients and they are a very generous size!! Perfect for sharing! Oh, these guys put any other sandwich place to shame!!! SERIOUSLY. Once you try a cream of crop sandwich you will neveeeeer eveeeer go back to plain boring basic sandwich places again. Mark my words. Also, this is the best place to go for healthy and organic alternatives, holistic health remedies, and soooo much more. They truly have such a lovely selection and everything is so natural!

I was delighted to find this place a block away from home. Great variety for a small store. Organic/vegan options. The staff was friendly and will be shopping here more often.

I tried one salsa that is so good with chips! I paired the medium surfs up salsa with the beanfields Himalayan pink salt ! Yum does not taste gross like vinegar. Natural organic ingredients.

Local, organic, vegan, and non-vegan products. The staff seem happy. I love supporting them. Great produce; I also recently started buying their sandwiches. I ordered sprouts and double-lettuce on it and they were such good quality. Very happy with each item I've bought from here. <3 <3 <3 :D

This place is amazing!! It's a really small store but it has everything! I even found a gluten free pecan pie which is my favorite and I haven't had one in 10 years! My son even got a free lollypop when he found the teddybear.

Great health food store. They stand behind the products. Mentioned that a supplement was contraindicated for me, they said bring it back for full refund, thus amazing me & building lifetime loyalty. Fresh juices and deli counter are a fantastic quick, tasty, nutritious bite on the go. My first go-to for good eats.

Wonderful selection of produce & bulk. Lots of organic options as well as gluten-free. There deli has amazing sandwiches & smoothies. Can be pricey but you're paying for quality. Check the sales! Super convenient location right off Vista Way.
