Mid-K Beauty

Who doesn’t love Mid-K?! Lol I go here for all of my hair needs!!😊 and sometimes even jewelry. I haven’t been to this location in quite awhile but I was in the area desperately needing a cute decent ponytail for my Halloween costume, amongst other things. I found exactly what I was looking for, the ponytail is so perfect you would think it’s my real hair😝. I will always vouch for any Mid-K location! Thank You Mid-K!!!

Impressively well-stocked store for the size. The two ladies behind the wig counter were not only knowledgeable and helpful but sweet as can be. As was the gentleman who rang up my items.
I walked out with two Styrofoam heads, wig glue, and an incredible wig for under $60.00. If you've been like me and shopping for wigs from Amazon, STOP. I was playing myself. The quality and price point of this wig still has me feeling like I won the lotto; 13x6 HD Lace, pre-plucked hairline, 360° lace, and crazy density. I'm mad that I ever bought one anywhere else.

Amazon could not get me an item fast enough. Surprisingly, this store was the only local location that had what I needed. Once inside, this store is a treasure trove of things I never knew I needed but HAVE TO HAVE. From wigs to makeup to jewelry, and literally everything in between, I was very impressed with their quantity AND quality. I actually left with my purchase only to get back out of my car and buy more. I will definitely be a regular here!

There were so many different products here that I was overwhelmed, but in a good way. The front counter people (working the register) are the owners, I assume. They know nothing about what they are selling, but are at least pretty nice. The wig lady tho?! She was FANTASTIC!! She was so patient with me. I knew NOTHING about what I needed or wanted, but she was beyond sufficient! I wish I had got her name so I could give her a shout out and y'all could know who to ask for help if you need it when there. I will definitely be back and I hope that young white girl is still there. 🙌💯❤

I'm 61, Black & been going to Mid-K Beauty on MLK Blvd & now Mid-K on Burnside, since I was 21. NEVER any issues, ALWAYS have what I want & makes my family & I feel welcome🤗 I get excited when I know I'm going to shop there. I appreciate the service & the quality of the products they carry🌹

The owner is my buddy from way back when the original MidK was at the old welfare office/ Montgomery Wards on Garfield and Killingsworth. He is so cool. Makes sure he orders things u request. He is very polite and every year he hands out New Year's goodie bags full of haircare goodies.

I'm really surprised to see negative reviews on this location. I've had bad experiences at the other locations such as being followed or not getting assistance but I've had nothing but positive experience from THIS location. I love to switch up my hairstyle and recently moved to this area so I visit this Mid-K frequently. When I enter I'm always greeted. If I need help there's usually somone at the cash register or in the back by the wigs. I've returned and exchanged products & hair here without any problems. Yes there is a women that some times works that doesn't speak fluent English but she tries and has always been sweet to me. I like this mid k the best, the other locations believe everyone is trying to steal or try to rush you out the store. At THIS location is can take my time and relax before I purchase.

I can't remember her name, but the young blonde lady helped me out when I had no idea what I wanted. She was so kind and patient with me. A customer even came up and gave me some tips and pointers on some items. This is a great store with a lot of variety. I will most definitely be back!

It's different from Sally's but has some fun hair ornaments...beads, etc. I got what I needed at a good price.
