GameStop

I remember coming across this two weeks ago, around the time when they were in the process of opening. I immediately told my friends about this, as we now had a direct route to a GameStop by bus that was also located in Downtown. Then this past Sunday, one of my friends and I finally went inside, and immediately loved it. They had all sorts of things, especially The Mario Movie in Blue Ray! I also happened to find Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled for the Switch, which was perfect since I lost my initial one a few months ago. The person working there was very polite, and answered our questions professionally. Will definitely be coming back.

I went in looking for a switch lite and a few games, they have great prices on used consoles as well as a decent selection of different types and colors. They ended up not having the pokemon game I was looking for but service was great and fast & I just got another one (they're really all good imo). They offer a subscription or something now for consoles which I don't know much about, since I'm not much of a gamer I don't know how to feel about it. At first I was going to cancel it right away but apparently there's good deals that come with keeping it, and since games can be really expensive I'm going to keep it. If you're more of a gamer I'd def recommend this place they have a huge selection of PS, Xbox, and Nintendo games and the consoles/games are really cheap + they're running some deals on the games rn. Overall great place & that's coming from someone who usually hates the hassle of shopping for games

The guy working behind the counter was pretty rude to my son. He kept trying to talk to the guy while he was ringing him up and he just kept ignoring him. If I hadnt promised my son the game he wanted, we would have walked out. Also, he apparently didnt believe in keeping proper hours, because the place was closed with a hand drawn sign saying be back by noon

Not friendly towards customers, didn’t bother asking for Pro Card like other GameStops do.

the guy at the counter was wearing a headset when i came into the store. i came in asking for a charger for my switch and he was acting super cold and had an attitude. he gave me a gamestop branded charger and i asked if it worked with the switch or if it was compatible. he rolled his eyes (again with a smart response) and said it was the same thing. (which i knew but i was feeling some sort of tension or anger). i didn’t feel comfortable giving my money at a location where i felt unwelcomed so i left with nothing. i’m not sure if this guy was having a bad day or something but he needs to be retrained on how to talk to customers.

Bald guy working day before Christmas eve was soo disgusting towards me. I dont know how they let people like this work there. Was trying to find an item and he was very dismissive before I could even get it out. Likw he didnt even want to be there. I would have been better off talking to AI. Please get rid of him.

This store is not worth the time it takes to get here or what it cost to park. The employees don't want to help you and will make no attempt to. They have limited stock on cards and other items by the attitude I received for asking a question just stopped looking and decided never to spend here which a real shame because I like game stop and would like them to stay in business but if they were all like this one they won't last.

Haven't even been there and I already don't like the bald guy behind the counter. Like come on, if you dont care about having hair on your head how are you going to care about my latest video game concerns? Seriously

This GameStop needs a customer service overhaul. I would think Mall employees would be ready to greet a customer and help instead of being bent down organizing overstock. Seriously NEVER pre order a game, console, or accessory from this GameStop location, they are fickle with customer decisions and are unable to provide helpful customer service. When faced with something as simple as a $5 pre order cancellation towards a purchase at the store. I was told he wasn’t able to do that because of “the vibe”. Oh well my vibe is that I’ll head over to the GameStop in the greater white plains area where they are able to answer my questions and help me get the items I’m looking for. Can I leave less than one star? Even a half star would be generous

Got there at 10:30, 30 mins after opening to find a sign stating they will re open in 1 hour. So we waited around. When we entered the gentleman was on a personal call and seemed very bothered by my child who was eager to get a new switch game. He was unhelpful and needless to say we didn’t get the game here, OR trade in our old games.

Take the drive and go to the neighboring GameStop instead. They are way more helpful and we’ve left happy a handful of times.

Worst store ever I called asking if a product in stock only for employee to tell me they don’t carry the item. When it is sold on the website. Very rude
