Pizza Underground

Seriously... the pizza is amazing! I am not a person who eats the crust, but there was nothing left when the hubs and I were done. I read about the use of block cheese versus the bought shredded. a few years ago, and I am extremely happy Pizza Underground grates fresh daily. The lava bread was exquisite, and the combo of the Pickle bacon ranch tastes just like a burger somehow. The service was excellent, and we loved the old-fashioned lighting. The prices are great for the quality of food and service provided. I don't usually visit the same restaurant twice cause there is always a new place to try... but I will visit this establishment again as you should!

Seriously delicious food and friendly staff. I came to Pizza Underground after reading some Google and Yelp reviews as well as recommendations from locals. The food was seriously delicious. I ordered a Caesar salad and the jalapeño popper pizza with Baffin, jalapeño and chunks of cream cheese. The salad would have been enough for a main meal; it was huge with tasty, garlic butter croutons. The pizza was beyond perfect. The dough was wood fired (A++) and the sauces were perfect! I ordered a cupcake to go and took more than half of my pizza home.

My server was Tabitha and she was soooo friendly! The sweetest, most bubbly person who you absolutely want to be the face of your restaurant. She was smiling and happy the entire time and so sociable. She needs to be recognized for being the VIP of the restaurant.

Best pizza in Jefferson City! Lots of attention to detail and high quality everything, small family owned business. I come just for their Caesar and lava bread, but everything is great.

This is a cute little place nestled in downtown Jeff City. They offer a good variety of homemade pizza and they have new flavors of cupcakes all the time! They do have adult beverages if your interested in that. It would be a good spot for most occasions. It’s accessible and the staff is phenomenal. You can really tell they put efforts into adding that special touch. They can also do take n bake or order to go which is nice! The appetizer cheesy bread is yummy- the only thing I’d do differently is to have warm marinara for dipping (it’s cold). We’ve thoroughly enjoyed both visits and plan to be back!

Great service and pizza crust is top knotch they have the cleanest silverware and best artisan cupcakes. The only notes I have are its a little smokey from the oven and a garlic butter sauce for the crust would be awesome! Butb best pizza place I've been to in awhile. Thanks for the great experience.

What a GREAT place for dinner! It was our first time there, our daughter and her family wanted to meet there to celebrate a birthday.

Taylor our server and Zoee who backed her up were absolutely wonderful! They were cheerful, professional and on point, so unlike most young servers these days.
The place has a great vibe, it was Friday and the place was 🔥. The staff looked happy to be there, the energy of the place was festive, upbeat and welcoming.

But the real star here is the pizza!! You can watch the chef make it right in front if you and it is A+++. The dough is hand stretched, chewy, cooked perfectly and was topped w/ delicious ingredients.
We also had a fantastic cesar salad and an incredible cheesy garlic bread. What made it so good was the bread was covered in a delicious, stretchy mozzarella.

It was a wonderful dinner all around, definitely A++++ experience! Thank you, Pizza Underground, JC is lucky to have you!

Really impressed with Pizza Underground! Was passing through on a road trip and upon ordering a margherita pizza, the owner was really excited about this specific pizza as he said it had several specific characteristics that he looked for, and it was a 1 out of 100 pizza! I loved the enthusiasm and attention to detail, and it was so fresh & delicious! Highly recommended.

I had ordered two pizzas from here Today. As I was waiting for them to get done. The gentleman making them were very friendly and spoke to me, The hostess was very friendly also I will be returning.

We have been fans of Pizza Underground since they opened! They are absolutely wonderful people, the food is beyond delicious, they have a special pizza for the month, the desserts are amazing and full of flavor, the service is always top notch, and the atmosphere is just fabulous!

The vibe was good. Nice aesthetics and the staff were friendly. The pizzas were all a nice 12 in crust with high quality ingredients. It was delicious. Clearly a place the locals visit and for good reason.

Pizza, like beauty, oft lies in the eye of the beholder. That said, as a Jefferson City native, I’ve grown up conditioned to hometown favorites. But now, the paradigm has shifted and the bar has been raised by my new favorite place for pizza in Jeff City: Pizza Underground.

From a super-friendly staff, to a perfectly balanced caesar salad, to fresh meats and ingredients, to the best crust in town… THIS is the best pizza in Jefferson City. (Best Chicken BBQ Pizza I’ve ever had in my life—can’t go wrong with putting succulent strips of bacon on it). Cannot recommend enough!

Was in town for a wedding, would definitely drive back from Michigan to eat here again. Great food, awesome vibes, and great prices

Breckyn was the best host we have ever had, she was so polite and so kind! It made our experience here soo much better!!

Went around 5pm, the service was quick and everyone is very friendly! The Caesar salad was delicious and so was our pepperoni and mushroom pizza! Couldn't have asked for a better experience! I cannot say enough great things about this place. The food was fantastic. The wine was on point. The dessert is homemade by the owner. Our server Zoe was so amazing. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. You must come here if you're in Jeff City.
