Steel City Pizza

A really great pie and the best in the area. The worker, who presumably was the owner, was very nice and appreciative. The pizza is a wood fired Neapolitan style. It has great char, a good undercarriage, slight crisp, zero flop, and good flavor but was hoping for a bit more in the sauce. Definitely recommended and a bonus is the brewery next door. For the Portnoy fans, I rated this a 7.4 but unfortunately this business isn't available in the app to post a review but I'll keep an eye out.

A hidden gem in Middletown! If you like authentic Italian style pizza you’ll love this place. The owners are great people and the pizza is fantastic. The Margherita was “chefs kiss” perfection! We look forward to our next visit!

We came to the attached brewery and ordered some pizza. It was really good.

Next door is a beer shop where they make their own bottles. I tried their light ale, and it was delicious.

I got to try quite a bit before opening and it is some very high quality pizza. Very authentic, don't let the amount of cheese fool you, it has plenty of flavor. Jeremy and his son are also great people that will answer all of your questions all night long. It's also attached to the best brewery.

Update: had their blast furnace pizza today and it was delicious, wasn't spicy enough for me but they have options to spice it up a bit. The crust just keeps improving.

We have been wanting to try steel city for awhile. I’ve followed them on instagram for a good bit. Let me tell you, it was well worth the wait. We got a pepperoni and a margarita pizza. The crust was perfect, sauce was wonderful and just an all around great pizza, dare I say delightful. I’m so glad this building is finally being used. I’m born and raised in the Middie and I really try and support local restaurants. Give this place a try. Neat atmosphere with them being attached to NEW Ales Brewery.

I have been there 2 times now. Both times have been excellent customer service and out of this world pizza. Yes it's a bit pricey but the quality behind the pizza is worth it. Yes it is best when it's hot and fresh out of the oven. First time only got pepperoni. But the Hot Strip Mill was very good the second visit. And I will be back for another delicious pie.

Wow! We stopped in for some beer and pizza. The crust and sauce are perfection. Simple and full of flavor. Don't sleep on those meatballs either. Definitely some of the best I've had. They even had a vegan option for my wife.

Great pizza - unique type of pizza for Middletown and nice addition to the growing local food scene. Service is fast and friendly. I look forward to visiting again.

What a great combination! Designer pizzas from Steel City Pizza and craft beers from New Ales Brewing. If you haven't been there, try it just once. Our visits have been fabulous.

I eat here more than I care to admit. Yeah, it's THAT good. Superb pizzas made with simple ingredients and tons of flavor. The obvious knowledge about culinary chemistry comes through. It also helps that the vibe is cool. The team behind the scenes is passionate about providing delicious, authentic and high quality pizzas to customers.

Such a welcoming experience for a locally owned shop! All of the workers seem energetic and upbeat. You can absolutely feel that they all are being themselves. The food is absolutely authentic, and great tasting aswell. I highly recommend the Blast Furnace, i went in for a couple slices to take home. But eventually ate the whole thing there! Best pizza in Middletown, hands down.

Stopped in here after a Bengals game while we were in town from Montana…both the pizza and the atmosphere was amazing! We visited with the mayor of Middletown who made our pizza and the owner her boyfriend who told us about the artist/art that inspired their name. Will stop back every time we’re in town. The chocolate chip cookies were the icing on the cake…gooey, soft deliciousness!

Great pizza! Would love to see them add pear to the fig, prosciutto, arugula pizza. It was great but for me would love a extra layer of taste.

Been looking for high quality pizza around my area. This place is exactly it. I got their cheese pizza and I immediately could tell they use fresh/high quality ingredients. Their pizza was very light and the crust was cooked very well. Will definitely become a regular.
