Peet's Coffee

Wanted to try the Peets store and was thrilled to see their selection of whole beans - many organically sourced and offering donations to environmental causes (like the Yosemite National Park Conservancy). Tried to download the app but it seems clunky with empty promises of discounts and coupons. Nevertheless, Sam, the manager, commiserated with our frustrations and offered our drinks complimentary - which was totally unnecessary. But honestly, this provided us the opportunity to experience her master barista skills! She made us an Havana Cappuccino with perfect foam, perfect pour, perfect sweetness, and perfect temperature, all the while making friendly conversation with her cheerful smile. Her barista, Bijan, shared with us stories of the "art of the pour-over." He definitely knows his beans and his techniques. Very happy to meet them both!

Every Peet’s coffee I have visited is basically the same: professional and helpful staff, clean, fast and the best coffee.

This is a nice little place in Thousand Oaks. Warm & cozy. Friendly service. My mocha & croissant came quickly (under 3 minutes). Both were hot & fresh. Make sure that your laptop is fully charged if you plan to work here. I didn't see more than 1 outlet. No sofas either. Still, I come here often. And I will surely visit again!

Far and away the best coffee. Store is always clean, well stocked and inviting. Associates here are the nicest in the business. They provide the ease and convenience of a national chain with the experience of an independent coffee shop. I would mention each person by name if I could remember them all, but Taylor is an excellent new supervisor. She provides a great experience and I’ve witnessed her being outstanding with the associates. Overall fantastic shop.

I love this location so much! When ever I am in a stressed mood or not feeling so good, the vibes the staff provides is so welcoming and pleasant! The chorizo and egg flat bread sandwich I can’t get enough of either! The location is very private but you can definitely say this place is a “hidden gem!” Definitely recommended if you are looking for good coffee and awesome customer service!

Most importantly, Peet seems to be taking better care of its employees compared to other coffee shops, and it also has the best tasting coffee products more than others. Employees of this location are professional, courteous & friendly.

Simply amazing coffee! Except for the periodic noisy equipment indoors, the warm and friendly atmosphere all around is wonderful. Service is fantastic with extra care, consideration and with special treatment whenever driven or available time to do so going the extra mile to please. Nice outdoor area too! Love this place.

Of course not like the gourmet small roasters.
Carrara in Agoura is the closest gourmet-quality coffee.

Came in yesterday for a business meeting and was super surprised with how friendly the staff was. I’m always one for small talk so I enjoyed the friendly banter while ordering. The drinks came out quick even though they were busy. Average drink output was 2 drinks every minute which was awesome to see. I’d come back here!

Love this place! Usually am a Starbucks gal but these past few days I’ve been to this Peet’s I’ve loved it! The coffee tastes really high quality and the baristas are very nice! One boy with a bandana and long curly brown hair was literally so sweet and nice to everyone he took an order from. 10/10 coming again!!

My husband's favorite coffee hang when he needs to focus and write. Our little girl loves the fountain outside, and we all enjoy the friendly people working inside. They're knowledgeable and good at what they do, and they do it with a smile.

I wish I had a Peets near me! The latte was divine because their espresso is simply better than Starbucks. On a simple drink, the quality shows. Very nice staff, nice location.

I've been itching to try Peet's in person for over 20 years now. I've been out to Southern California a couple times in that time but it never worked out until recently... I am still impressed.

A quality cup of coffee with excellent service. I also bought some coffee beans to take home and make myself and I appreciate that the roast-date was marked on each bag... Something omitted from they-who-won't-be-named's offerings.

I don't know why I didn't try harder on previous trips, especially considering how much more I enjoyed my cup than I do when I buy from big-green back home.

I won't make that mistake again!

I love this Peet’s location. The staff is great. The crew really does go above and beyond to make your drink exactly how you like it, and they take a genuine interest in us customers. I am always asked how my day is or what I’m up to. They know my order, and it’s like catching up with a friend every morning. On more than one occasion they have really brightened my day. Today the power was out (by no fault of their own) and they offered cold brew or tea to everyone who walked in. Ultimately, my loyalty is about being able to rely on a really good cup of coffee... this store crafts the perfect coffee, AND I like the humans who run the joint.
