This is the perfect McDonald’s for those with kiddos! We enjoyed the play place, the game tables and there is an area where a picture is playable on the floor from the ceiling. The food was great and service was quick and incredibly kind.

My internet went down and thought, sure, let me go to McDonald's and have breakfast with a mocha. I ordered my food before arriving for table service, and it was ready within 2 minutes of walking in! It was emptish at about 815am. It was great!

This was a great stop on our road trip. The playplace was clean and my three kids enjoyed it a lot. My food was ready quickly.
They also had Puppy Dog Pals playing on Disney Jr on a large TV in the dining room. My kids really enjoyed that too!

I was waiting in the pickup line for a bit longer than normal and Harrison provided outstanding service. He went above and beyond. It was my first experience ant this new location and I will be back.

I came here just cuz I was hungry and wanted a burger right. I found the best restaurant ever. The food is unmatched the service is awesome Matilda the cashier was so nice to me and the atmosphere was like no other all in all go here cuz it's good or don't but I think you should

I always have a good experience here. It's McDonald's so the food isn't great but it does the job. The staff are all friendly

One of the best McDonald's. I recommend getting the bakers dozen chocolate chip cookies, warm and gooey.

Went in without kids so it was chaos free. No kids around in the morning so it was quiet . Enjoyed a simple burger and fries. Yes it does have a washroom but it's not public. You have to be a customer to use it. They have a really good french vanilla latte sugar free. Wheelchair accessible washroom and parking. Had a nice play area for kids.

Fast, friendly service! The young man working the second window today had wonderful customer service. He made sure I had everything and then sang the Mcdonalds theme song! Adorable, loved it!

This McDonald's location is really clean and nice. During our recent move, my wife and I ended up eating here several times. We received our food quickly each time and it always tasted good. At the end of the day, it's still just fast food, but if that's what you're looking for, this is one of the best places around here to get it.

Usually I have quick service here and everything comes out delicious. Today my order wasn’t correct, but they did an amazing job at fixing the problem. I called on the way back about the issue and no questions asked they remade my order and brought it to my car as I pulled into the parking lot. Glad to have this location be nearest to me.

This place gets a McFiveStar. This morning (5/5/20) at 10:20am I had the best service I’ve every received. I was on my way to work and needed a coffee to wake myself up. I was disappointed to see a big line ahead of me in the drive thru, but was shocked as the line quickly disappeared. Each car was being served with incredible speed and the staff was working on overdrive to get the orders in and food out the window as fast as possible. The entire stop took only a minute and a half from when I pulled up to when I pulled out. The staff was kind and eager to go as fast as possible to get me on my way with my large coffee and breakfast items. I will be stopping here from now on for all of my fast food needs and you should too.

Pulled up to get our food at 9:24 and the lady at the window was super sweet when she saw our two dogs. They even got free kids sized ice cream that they loved!!

Very quick service and very nice staff. Only issue was loud, obnoxious Christian music playing inside.

Updated 2018: Restaurant was remodeled and very modern. Actually one of my favorite Mcdonald's now. Not sure why the hate on the self-order kiosks, but I appreciate being able to browse the menu and be sure the order is placed correctly. Mobile app ordering is also great and works well.

The reviews are not accurate for this location. It is an excellent McDonald's, very clean, pleasant staff. They have the new touchscreen ordering kiosks which are fun and allows you to order perfectly and on our your own time. This is probably the best one in the Des Moines metro and I have been admittedly been to quite a few.

My Grandson enjoys going to the Waukee McDonald's! They gave him a Princess toy instead of a boys toy yesterday. I called and they told me no problem just stop in sometime and exchange it! They were SO nice today when we came thru! They made it worth the trip back! Thank You! As long as they sell Happy Meals we will go to McDonald's!

I know how hard it is to have every order done perfect in the fast food biz. The Waukee McDonald's has given me my orders correctly ever since I started buying food from them a year ago. I go about once a month.

Well... I have to admit that I'm fairly heavily addicted to their mocha frappes and hot mocha drinks, so we visit very frequently! Usually we do drive up and service is always prompt, accurate and friendly. We almost always go to the one in Waukee, Iowa.
