Sunlight Ski & Bike Shop

My family visited Glenwood this weekend and decided last minute to rent some bikes to ride along the river. We have done this many times in the past visits, but never with Sunlight. What a WONDERFUL and easy experience! John was patient with us all and explained everything we needed to know. His customer service was GREAT!! We rented ebikes and a burley trailer. The bikes were great quality and worked awesome!! I highly recommend Sunlight ski & Bike shop!! We will be returning customers every year!!

BEST experience we have ever gotten from a ski shop! The older gentleman we forgot to catch his name was EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. He spent as long as he needed to to help us on so many questions we have. He showed us how our boots should work. He explained everything in such a way that help us understand what we needed to know. My husband got the greatest boots he has ever worn! We are so happy we went in! Thanks to him ❤

Pleasurable experience. Spent lots of time with me-recommended great gear, put bikes together right away; Kale (bike person extraordinaire ) even installed tailgate protector on my truck! Exceeded expectations. Good on you-Sunlight Ski & Bike👍

Great guys (and dogs) at this shop. I worked at a ski shop in Frisco in the late 90’s and it’s good to see that passion and excellence in service is still alive and well in a sweet little ski shop in Glenwood. I now live in Iowa and don’t ski often but I’ll take back with me a great experience, getting my 13 year old set up on a board. The guys made my ancient skis look great wit summa dat Spring wax too. This all happened during Spring Break so I saw how busy they were but they weren’t too busy to make me and my family (and even my brother’s dog) feel special. Keep it up fellas 👊

They’re really stepping up their game. I brought my sons bike in with a bent derailleur hanger and they had it ready to ride in 15 minutes - no charge! Their new employees are knowledgeable and fun to talk with.

These guys are top notch in customer service. We came here a few years ago while on vacation to look into some ski boots for my wife. We ended up not buying the boots here, but they were spot-on with their recommendation.

Stopped in to grab some cold water(s) when walking to the Doc Holiday Trail. Staff super friendly and helpful. Overall look of the shop itself was impressive IMO.

There's a reason it's locals favorite they're quick, polite, affordable and genuinely care about you. They have all kinds of services that range from bike/ski/snowboard maintenance to overall outdoor gear rentals.

I've been renting from them for the past 3 years for my winter gear. I like to rent the snowshoes and ski gear (skis, poles, helmet, boots, etc). When you get there, just know you might have to wait because of all the gear they have to get you or others they're working with. So please be patient. The staff there is beyond nice and it's definitely worth (quality of the items and $price) getting all your winter rental gear from them.

Came in almost a closing and they were super helpful and took the time to fix my skis and get me ready for the next day. Very friendly and helpful employees that really care about the customer experience.

Walked in on a whim to see if I could get my shifters repaired. Parker immediately threw my bike on the rack even though it was already 5pm with a 5:30 closing time. After a quick diagnostic he told me he would need a little more time. By noon the next day my bike was like new by replacing my shifter. The service was great, the folks super friendly and they did not hesitate to work on my 30yo bike. Thanks also goes to Ethan who also helped with the repairs.

Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The guys who fix bikes are great. Be sure to mention you are a local to get a 10% discount.

All of the reviews said THE BEST, and they really were THE BEST! These folks have the best rates for rental equipment, and the quality is decent. We got three snowboards/boots and a helmet (which do not come with goggles BTW) and they were all fine quality for the price. You really can't beat it, plus every person working there was genuinly happy to see someone come through the door. It's right in town, you can hit it on your way to Sunlight Mountain.

The bike shop mechanics are super nice! The guy helping me out was available immediately, and let me watch him fix the bike, so not only did I get my bike fixed, I now know how to do it myself next time. Thank you :)

Great customer service and fair pricing for ski and snowboard rentals. They were fun and very patient with our 4 kids while being fit for boots, skis, & boards. The ski boots fit very comfortably and they were quick to get us set up for a great family ski day. Thanks guys!
