Hello new or future homeowners,

I’m not going to say we didn’t have issues with DR Horton, we did and it was corrected. I’m here to tell you the positive experiences I received when I brought my DR Horton home.

This was our first brand new build; we brought homes before just never a brand new one. My experience with the Sale agent Mike Joseph felt comfortable, he was very professional and knowledgeable. Mike made us feel like family and he made sure we were informed every step of the way during our purchase. We have been in our house for 9 months and Mike still stops by time to time to check on us.

Let me tell you the great experience I received with Richard Nunez Customer care Rep for Carillon. The first time I met Richard it was about our blinds, Ac and little things I wanted to address. Richard stop by to address the issues I was having in the home. The next day I got calls from the venders to come and fits the issues I submitted. Everything was completed in about a two week period. Had no issues after that.

The next time I seen Richard it was going over our one year warranty inspection. He called to set up times for the venders to stop by to address what was on my third-party home inspection. Richard also asked if he could stop by to go over the third-party report with me. We went over everything in the report and before he left he ordered a new garage door and back door. He also made contact with the venders to come for the other items that needed to be addressed.
Richard Nunez went far and beyond for us; I know people are going to say that’s his job. NO Richard noticed that I have replaced all the doorknobs and deadbolts to black and DR Horton only has nickel locks and handle. He told me he will go ahead and buy a matching dead bolt to match the door handle to the new garage door that is coming in. He did not have to go out of his way to do that he could have given us the nickel deadbolt, but he was nice enough to get a deadbolt to match my door handle that I replaced. He listened to my concerns and made all the corrections that the third-party inspection seen to be defective.

This was my husband's and I first time purchasing a home , we didn't know what to expect. We saw the sign for the Carillon community and decided to take a visit.

We happen to meet Mike Joseph and was very pleased from the start, he took the time to explain to us what to expect when it comes to payments, rates and things that would be included with the home. We left the office feeling very informed and decided to start the process couple weeks later, within that time I was able to text Mike with my questions and to revisit other homes, before deciding our home.

Once the process started I had some doubts about us doing this process without a realtor. Mike was able to let us know the difference of having one and we had enough courage to do it on our own. He kept us updated with pictures and video of the home as they continued to build, notified us of the next steps and connected us with an amazing team for the DHI Mortgage.

We briefly met Terry the superintendent for our home who Mike speaks highly of. He started an an amazing job with the home and we were definitely sadden that we were not able to finish the walkthrough process with him.

Being very excited, my husband wanted to visit the home almost every day. I would text Mike for access (even close to him leaving for the day) he would always take his time to let us in and spend time talking with us. I have always thought how would it be if we never met Mike that day, he has been there with us through every step and truly felt more like a family friend than a sales agent .Even after closing on our home Mike is still there to answer our questions (I don't think he can get rid of us that easily now.)

I am honestly pleased with Mike's professionalism, knowledge, attentiveness, friendliness , along with everyone in the DR Horton team that has been apart of our process and would definitely be my recommendation for anyone looking to purchase in the community.

Mike is helpful, communicative, and knowledgeable about DR Horton processes. From purchasing to after sale. Mike always answer our questions. His professionalism, and dedication to his client do not stop after closing. He keep in touch in us when the warranty hotline couldn't assist us in the timely manner.

We do business again with Mike in the furture (just for the reason above).

We had a wonderful experience with Mike Joseph at DR Horton at Carillon. Mike is very professional and attentive to our needs. We got updates on our house at least once a week. Mike had videos and pictures on goggle so we had our family members see the progress as well. He would respond to our text messages on a timely manner. The best part is he was in the loop every step of the way with the loan process and inspections. He would send important reminders and what to expect along the way. After closing he was there to rekey our house and walk through to check that everything was move in ready! Best experience we had on buy a New Build in a new community!! We have brought resell but not a new build till now. Glad we had Mike Joseph as our sell representative for DR Horton in Carillon.
