I know this USPS location has got a negative reputation with several bad reviews, but I wanted to share my positive experience I've had recently. The customer service I witnessed last week was exceptional from employees Michael Mitchell and Ashley Church.

Both had such a great attitude and were very friendly when customers walked through the door. It was a breath of fresh air to witness that friendliness, which can sometimes be lacking at the post office. Michael went out of his way to find packaging for my items and found a way to save me money by using a different box besides the flat-rate boxes.

He also made sure the packaging was secure and did it all with a smile on his face. That's top-notch service. I will definitely be going back to this location and I'm always glad to see Michael and Ashley as I stand in line, knowing I'll get great customer service.

I shared on trustpilot and it never uploaded. Marie was my clerk and she was friendly, helpful and asked about more stamps (yes). The nextdoor clerk, Gretchen, also spoke and waved, a very COMMUNITY feeling. Thx.

My mail carrier has been out of town for the week and had a sub delivering for him. A package that should have been delivered to my house was left on top of my and my neighbor's mailboxes. I called to make sure that this would not happen again as I had a shipment of hatching eggs coming in the mail and didn't want anything to happen to them. The lady I spoke to was very kind and helpful. Two days later, when my package arrived, the lady I spoke to hand delivered my package directly to me. I have never been so impressed.

I have mailed more than 400 packages through the post office on Dickson street during the past 12 months. Every-single-package has reached its destination and I have not received a single complaint from a customer about shipping times. The folks who work the counter (Jean, Corey, Ashley, Denise) are amazing. They are kind and patient, and I look forward to seeing them every day. They put up with so many ignorant and rude people it boggles my mind how they keep their sanity. I am there almost every day, and I frequently see people getting irate at the clerks when it is clearly **them** that has made the mistake and **not** the post office workers. I have no doubt that those **mean dummies** are the people who are writing these poor reviews. I am very thankful for this post office and wish I could give them TEN stars.

Ok so I was really nervous about the service here due to the bad review BUT I WAS SO WRONG.

I accidentally put the wrong delivery address by one number for an international package 🤦🏼‍♀. I tried to reach out to the company I purchased the items from and they were zero help, claiming they couldn’t change the address. I called USPS customer service and they said they couldn’t hold the package because it wasn’t a real address and couldn’t intercept it because it was an international order etc etc. Basically I was drawing at straws trying to figure out how to get this package before it was sent back to the UK.

So - the day the package was out for delivery I went to the Dickson street location and talked to the sweetest lady named Jean. I explained the situation to her, she found a photo of my package and saw that it was out for delivery. Her solution was to stay after she got off work to GO THROUGH THE RETURN PACKAGES HERSELF 😭 and call me if she found it.

I just got a call from sweet, sweet Jean telling me she found the package and where I could pick it up.

Regardless of the lines or how busy the place may naturally get, The gentlemen Mitchell has always provided speedy and absolutely excellent service !!

My experience with the Dickson Street Post Office is nothing like those mentioned in the terrible reviews posted. I frequent this location at least once a week and find the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly, the service excellent.

I had several questions needing answered. I expected to have to wait awhile and get short changed answers, but I was pleasantly surprised!! Rebecca took my phone call, and she was more than helpful! :) she answered all my questions in length and gave me useful tips on times to come back in. I'm delighted to have such a great experience. Keep up the hard work!!

Just did my application for a passport didn't take me 10 min. From start to finish!! Thank you for your quick service! The clerk was very friendly! Great job!

Met a new clerk to day, A very happy, exuberant girl named Ashley. Of course all the clerk's, Corey, Gene, Anna, Sara, and all the rest are just as great! Always enjoy myself when here! I always get the help I need!! That's a rare thing this day and age!

They are super helpful and friendly

I had a package out for delivery since 6am and our mail hadn't been delivered at our normal time 11:30-2, so around 4:30pm I called our local branch and was given detailed info about WHY our carrier was late (late start) and his expected arrive time back at the station (5:30pm). I appreciated the detailed info!

I have never had a problem. The folks working there seem friendly and hard working to me, and if the lines are long I don't believe that is their fault at all.

Wow... felt compelled to post this glowing review after the hate a few lines down. I've been using this office specifically since I moved to Fayetteville, and I've never been disappointed. Friendly and Professional.

Love this location, been my go to post office for years. Friendly workers, and just two days ago had no line to wait in!

This is a post office. You can send mail and packages from here. You can also get your passport processed here. Nice staff, usually really busy.
