Madame Butterfly

My family and I absolutely loved it! Before visiting, I read the reviews, and most of them were good, but a few gave me pause. Madame Butterfly did not disappoint! It was pricey but worth every penny. We got the Madame Bang shrimp, crispy wings, and the Crab Rangoon croquettes for appetizers. All of them were delicious! The meats were seasoned perfectly, generous portions were served, and the experience was fantastic! We had so much fun and were very full when we left!

We grabbed a quick bite to eat between the kids activities and work on a busy friday!
We visited the modern Korean restaurants from the ele and chef hospitality group called ‘Madame Butterfly’. The ambience is very chic and modern with an extensive bar across the restaurant and the menu is short and to the point containing mixed dishes with an Asian twist mostly focused on Korean cuisine inspired dishes .We tried the shrimp bamboo skewers, Korean tofu and seafood stew, and tofu and vegetable stir fry with white rice, their truffle fries with sesame oil and furikake are amazing. I would say they are a must try! They are bursting with flavor and super crispy.
If you love Korean bbq they have some excellent high quality meat cuts available for bbq as well great steak options. Their drinks menu is also extensive with variety of options.Our server was also great,(forgot his name but in the picture) he was so friendly and informative, he even provided us with recommendations as we do not eat red meat,with some vegetarian options.
All in all an excellent date night spot with some amazing food and drinks, again one more hit from the ele and the chef gang!

I have yet to be disappointed by anything I've tried here. I love the flavors and creativity of the dishes. I especially love the wings, Madame bang shrimp, jajangmyon noodles, and the steak and stew! Even the side of bread with pesto is a filling appetizer.

So, Madame Butterfly—a spot my friend couldn't stop raving about. Our decision to swing by ended up being one of those spontaneous dining moments you cherish. As we snagged a same-day reservation, my friend's excitement was infectious—she was practically bouncing off the walls with anticipation.

Now, let's talk food. We went in with high expectations, and Madame Butterfly didn't disappoint. The MADAME BANG SHRIMP? Let's just say, it was everything I could have hoped for and more. These shrimp were no joke—plump, juicy, and coated in the perfect amount of crispy goodness. Each bite was like a flavor explosion in my mouth, leaving me speechless (well, almost).

As for cocktails, I'm usually a bit wary, but our waiter, John, convinced me to take a chance. And boy, am I glad I did. His pick, the MONARCH, was like nothing I've ever tasted before—a delightful concoction of Soju Barley, Strawberry, Honey Balsamic, Citrus, and Yogurt Espuma that had me practically licking the glass clean. It was sweet, tangy, and just downright delicious. (I have proof)

My friend opted for the adventurous JAJANGMYON "BLACK NOODLES," a dish she saw from our neighbor table. While it wasn't quite to my taste initially, its unique flavor grew on me with each bite. On the other hand, my choice, the BIBIMBAP, was a revelation. Let me tell you, that marinated steak was the stuff of dreams—tender, flavorful, and oh-so-satisfying. Paired with the spicy gochujang sauce and pickled veggies, it was a flavor explosion that left me craving more. The marinated steak stole the show, perfectly complementing the other ingredients, though I could have done without the soggy rice at the bottom.

Throughout our meal, John's recommendations were on point, and his warm demeanor only added to the experience. He made sure we felt right at home, which is exactly what you want in a dining companion.

All in all, Madame Butterfly is the real deal. From the mouthwatering dishes to the top-notch service, it's a spot that'll keep you coming back for more. So, if you find yourself in Savannah, do yourself a favor and check it out.

So happy I booked this for my Husband’s birthday. We had never done Korean barbecue before and this was the perfect way to do it. Our server, Cayla, was amazing and walked us through the whole process. We had so much fun and the food was superb! Also, Donte at the bar gave us the perfect drink recommendations. Highly recommend!

The most perfect place for ambience, food and service. The bibimbap was phenomenal. I actually ordered shrimp and grits but saw another patron order the bibimbap and pivoted real quick.

My server was kind enough to bag up my first dish and quickly put an order in for the second dish. It was my first time having the dish but it was DELISH!!

I will have it again

The place was really nice and clean and the food was spectacular. It has a korean-american menu. One of the best burgers I've tried plus the kibimbap and the salmon were also delicious.

This is one of the best restaurants my girlfriend and I have been to in Savannah! I started off with The Monarch cocktail, which was absolutely delicious, before we moved onto crab cake croquettes and egg rolls for apps. The croquettes were well portioned for the price and tasty; while the egg roll portion was small (both apps had 3 of each), they were likewise delicious.

Where the dinner really shined was my entrée, the steak + stew. The base was thick and savory with curry-like elements and was incredibly filling. The grilled bread on the side paired excellently with it to boot!

Our bar tender and server were both kind & attentive without being all over us, which allowed for nice conversation while ensuring we didn't feel rushed. I'll definitely be returning the next time I find myself in Savannah!

Here is an amazing place, their foods are really yummy. But the foods are not authentic Korean food, it is like fusion and foods are more likely to Japanese fusion. Also their interior is fantastic but the conception of interior is mixed by Japanese and Korean.

Overall, staff are awesome and foods are tasty, and atmosphere and vibes are fantastic.
No doubt, I definitely go back and explore more!

Beautiful dining experience! The staff were dressed nice and provided exquisite service making it a very wonderful “fine dining” experience. Our party really enjoyed the appetizers (bang shrimp) and the catch of the day. We opted for family style dining and ordered multiple items off the menu -none of them disappointed!!! Everyone seemed impressed with the cocktails too. Dessert was amazing, I can’t wait to have that mousse cake again.

For Korean BBQ in Savannah this place is a 5. You can’t compare this to another major city Luxury Korean BBQ place but my 5 is based on the small detail’s and uniqueness that gives this restaurant character.

The menu was great and Deliscioso. Just in case you are hungry and don’t want to wait to eat some good steak while you are cooking it I recommend starting off by ordering a filet Mignon right front the start as an appetizer.

The service and our servers knowledge on the menu was on point.

Unfortunately I came in on a Tuesday and was not drinking away but if I return on a weekend I will order various signature cocktails.

A tad bit understaffed when we went, but that's the fault of the owners, not the staff. Our server and bartender were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The drinks are incredible, especially the cocktails. I highly recommend the "Origami".

As for the food, it's hands down the greatest Korean BBQ I've ever had in my life. Words can't do it justice. It's expensive, but absolutely with each and every penny. A must visit if you're looking for fancy, fun, and delicious.

Celebrated my wife’s birthday here. Great choice . The atmosphere and service are fantastic. I started with a blood orange martini, very good. All the appetizers we ordered were delicious. The Bang Shrimp, Crispy Wings and Egg Rolls. For mains we had the Pork Chop and the Chicken. Big portions for both and they were very good. Highly recommended!!

We had an early dinner reservation and almost the only ones in the downstairs restaurant. The drinks we ordered (White geisha, and the Hiroshima) were very good. We ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp for an appetizer which was delicious. The sauce was very flavorful and the shrimp batter was incredibly crunchy. We ordered black noodles and bibimbap for entrées. They were both good, but the bibimbap was better and so filling that I had to take some to go.

The food, service, and drinks (my god the drinks!) in this restaurant had us coming back the same day for seconds! Our waitress Bojana was absolutely amazing, she was attentive and very accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Our waitress was super sweet. Food was quickly delivered and was hot and delicious. The blood orange drink was tasty. Great photo ops here.

Ended up going with the wonderfully tasty bibimbap. It was incredible.

We also started with the roasted duck skewers.

It was such a great experience, and I look forward to stopping in again when I'm in town.

I cannot say enough good about this restaurant. If I could give more than 5 I would. The food, wait staff, hostess, atmosphere was all perfect. We ate dinner with a 5 pm reservation. We had the Prime Ribeye, Brussel Sprouts, Side of Bread, Steak and Stew and Rice. I was second guessing an adult beverage but Mario was so helpful in asking what my tastes were and recommended the perfect drink. Hands down one of the beat meals I have ever had. Perfectly cooked, well seasoned. This place is a gem. Very unassuming outside a little off the normal paths. So worth a try. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Savannah now. Prices are on the higher side but well worth the price.

My wife and I came here for our anniversary dinner. The layout and decor of the restaurant doesn't offer a spine-tingling experience but the attentive, knowledgeable wait staff and the delicious food makes up for it. Mario was our waiter and was top notch! My wife and I both had the American 7 oz. filets and were very well pleased with the tenderness and rich flavor of the steaks. Sides and dessert were also on point. Will definitely go again.

First time here with my boyfriend. The interior of the restaurant was gorgeous!! We had the Korean bbq and everything was very tasty. The drinks we had were all delicious. John was our server and he was polite and very professional. This place is 10/10!! We will surely visit again.
