It is an authentic and decent Chinese restaurant in the town. It was decorated well and the service was great. Highly recommend their soup dumplings which tasted authentic with abundant soup inside the buns. Their other dishes were also cooked well with a large size.

The customer service was great and the food was also amazing! Would definitely recommend. If you want Dim sum in Savannah they maybe have the widest variety tho it’s not much but definitely worth a visit and if you like spicy then the crispy spicy chicken is the bomb!!!

What a wonderful place with great food! My friends came here after our conference for dinner. We had a large party and called ahead for reservations. (I'm so glad I did bc they were packed!) We ordered a wide variety of food and shared it family style. Everyone enjoyed it and we will definitely eat here again the next time we're in town!

Wait staff very helpful and accomodating. Hand made soup dumplings brought us back for this second visit! Had fried rice, spicey lamb stir fry, egg roll and spring roll appetizer, chicken lo mein, and stir fried snow pea leaves. All had great flavor and texture. Spicey is not real spicey here. My wife had same comment when she took our daughter here the first time. Very simple interior but great food promptly served.

Everything we had was outstanding! Dan Dan Noodles, Spicy beef, house lo mein, & pork soup dumplings. Our servers were very friendly too!

After reading several unfavorable reviews, I decided to try it myself. Just to be clear, I am Chinese from Hong Kong, so I know Chinese food 😅
Because there were just two of us, we ordered just three dishes - soup dumplings, whole fish and Stirred fried bok choy 🥬. Considering we are in Georgia with less than 2% Asian population, I thought the food was good. The dumplings are juicy and fresh; the whole fish is tasty and reasonably fresh; bok choy is surprisingly spicy loaded with chili but it’s soft with a crunch in the middle. The server is friendly, food comes quickly and smoking hot. I feel this restaurant is unfairly targeted with poor ratings. So I will give them a 5 star rating.
P.S you should check out their bathroom, it’s clean and fancy! Unlike most Asian restaurants I know if you know what I mean 😂

Tasty Chinese restaurant! I ordered delivery and it was just ok but I guess it was bc my house was too far and food got cold. Visiting here was a much better experience. Crispy spicy fish fillet and braised pork belly were great.

We had wonton with hot oil, mapo tofu, and fried pork ribs. Fried pork ribs is my favorite among them.😋 Food was all delicious and staffs are friendly and helpful 😊 I'll definitely come again and next time I'll try the braised pork with preserved veggies.

Got delivered to my hotel room. Fried rice was good, big chicken pieces. Soup dumplings were flavorful, my 1st tome having them snd personally think i prefer regular dumplings.

This place makes some fantastic Chinese food! Hands down the best I have had in the area. The dumplings in hot oil were so nice, definitely hand made. Had a great Sichuan chili spice. Dan Dan noodles were very tasty as well. Would love to come back again with friends to order more.

Best Chinese in Savannah. Great service. Delicious food. Do not miss the cucumber garlic appetizer. Milk tea is also extremely good. Sweet, but not too sweet.

Recommend getting a few less plates than people at your table and sharing among all, the portions are definitely large enough to share.

My spouse, a friend, and I dined at E-Tang, an Asian cuisine spot located on Oglethorpe in Savannah. The restaurant offers dishes in family-sized servings. Being our initial visit, we opted to sample a variety of dishes, including Chicken Lo Mein, Pork Soup Dumplings, Sesame Chicken, Twice Cooked Pork, and Crispy Spicy Chicken. Despite our hearty appetites, we ended up with leftovers enough for two additional meals. Each dish was well-prepared and aesthetically served. The menu's photographs aided us in selecting which items to taste first, and we've already marked our calendars for a follow-up visit to explore more of their enticing offerings that we didn't manage to try this time. From my experience, it's challenging to find American Chinese Food in Savannah, yet E-Tang offers exactly that and comes highly recommended.

This is hands down the best Chinese food in Savannah. It's authentic Chinese by the way, so it may not taste anything like what you're used to, but the owners and staff are incredibly kind and helpful. I honestly can't believe how fresh everything tastes and how crunchy the vegetables are. I've been here a few times and I feel like it gets better each time I visit. They have a great vegetarian selection too! I highly recommend.

Hidden gem with some authentic Asian cuisine. When we first got there I thought it was closed. Had to go through the entrance to another door, then found it. So much to choose from. Enjoyed some shrimp dumplings and fish soup. So much food, had plenty for the next day too. All was very good. And really enjoyed the service as well. Try this place, you will love it!

All of the young staff are native Mandarin speakers, a good sign form the start. Very close to authentic Chinese cuisine. Very tasty and some good spice if you like. Most patrons were Chinese with a few tables of gweilos, another good sign. We enjoyed it.

I love E-tang, it really the only authentic Chinese restaurant in Savannah. Was there last week. Next time I go I will be sure to tell the waiter to not bring the appetizer and entire at the same time . I have been there numerous times and the food is always fantastic.

Wonderful and authentic Asian restaurant in Savannah. The portions were decent. Soup dumplings were a wonderful appetizer. I highly recommend the pork belly entree, they were melt in your mouth good. Service was impeccable and they were patient with our large group. Highly recommend!

10/10 would recommend! Most authentic place in Savannah and the surrounding area. It was so good I forgot to take pictures. We had the crispy fish, shredded potato, braised eggplant, stir fried tomato eggs, and the chicken/pork XLB - so so good. Just wished I lived closer.

Some of the best Asian food I have ever eaten; very authentic!! Service was great and the location, although tucked inside a plaza, is quaint and inviting. I definitely recommend the flaming beef dish which was exceptional, not too hot spice-wise either. Wonderful find in Savannah; I will be back!

Excellent, authentic Chinese food. The house-made wonton in chili oil and shrimp soup dumplings were an excellent start to a great meal! The crispy fish were perfectly fried and seasoned, and the garlic cucumber were excellent as a side and by themselves. The walnut shrimp were maybe less authentic, but they were equally delicious.
