Sol-Agave Restaurant

It was a super windy Saturday afternoon, but we wanted patio seating anyway. Loved the feeling of being out with a margarita flight on a deck under an umbrella... Food was hot and excellent; portions were great. Excited to go back again in spring/summer without derecho style winds!

Great food, drinks & service. Got right in on a busy Saturday night. Food came out so fast & the margarita flight was so good. The ice cream bar for the kids menu is a nice touch too.

First time visiting, wasn't sure what to expect. The service was very good, though there were a few times I may have confused the staff by trying to ask questions - they were all extremely polite, and when we asked for something they were quick to bring it, but not conversationalists. Very much a "I will make myself available if you need anything, but I will not come by to ask you if you need x y z" etc. Honestly I prefer that, and they may have picked up on that 😅

The food. Oh my gosh the food was AMAZING. Broad variety between Mexican and American cuisine. They do have a kids menu!

We weren't needing a full heavy meal, so we ordered 3 apps to share between 2 adults. Y'all. It was three full sized meals. Everything was on point, presentation, flavor, timing etc. Probably the best Mexican I've ever had from an upscale restaurant.

Atmosphere, primarily booths, it isn't a large building, so they've maximized floor space - though it is high backed booths, not much for "privacy" or if you had a large group and needed multiple tables pulled together it would likely be a bit tight - UNLESS there was a seperate seating area I didn't see. I would call ahead to know for sure - the food is so worth it.

Parking: The only "downside" of this location. It's a small lot, I wouldn't bring any large vehicles here if I was coming at a busy time.

They look to have a great outdoor dining area, though it wasn't the right weather for it when we visited. While the interior is very nicely done, if you're someone who prefers open spaces - take the room on the patio.

Would absolutely recommend and I will be back!

This is my new favorite hidden gem. The food was absolutely amazing and came out quickly. Our server Santiago was attentive, extremely friendly, and just really great overall. The margaritas are unique and delicious. If I wasn't so full I would come back again tonight!

Only negative is there is only 1 small bathroom.

Food had great flavor and was reasonably priced. The wait staff were very friendly and the inside decor is very nice. We will be sure to visit again!

This was our first visit. Food was excellent. Our server was very attentive. We recommend. I had the almond chicken salad. My husband had the Polo Loco. Generous portions.

Great variety on the menu, something for everyone!

Excellent flavor, good portion size and friendly staff, the ceviche and street tacos were top notch! Great addition to Grimes.

My wife and I shared the “crack” pizza. More than enough for the two of us. Thin crust and generous toppings, awesome pizza. We drank water, $20 out the door with tax and tip! Great food and good value.

Very good food. Servings are large and filling. Thursdays have cheaper margaritas

Had a blast with friends and the service was fun and friendly as well! Great tacos, REALLY good drinks and perfect queso.

Very busy, took a bit to be greeted, but not bad. Waitress, food and margaritas were fantastic. Always talked about going there, now that we have, we will be back.

Wasn't a fan of their taco or Margherita. However, they made up for it with their pizzas with red sauce. Wings were solid.

Amazing food! My new fave Mexican! Salsa is the best anywhere, pizza, wings, yum!

Came here for my birthday, service was amazing, food was amazing, love the people who work here! Best Mexican food we've had and we're from Arizona lol.

This place is very unique. It has a VERY large menu with delicious food. I had some tasty birria tacos, but there’s also pasta and even pizza on the menu! The service was excellent. There’s plenty of seating inside and a large patio outside. It is definitely worth trying!

My husband and I loved this place! We had the Choriqueso, Birria tacos, and the Choripollo. Everything was amazing! Their chorizo is the best we've had anywhere. Large portions of food as well! Went on a Friday night around 8:30 and it wasn't too busy. Tons of options for food and drinks. Their horchata was the best I've had! We will be back!
