Lake Champlain Chocolates

My dad suggested coming here & my girlfriend and I are happy we found it! The chocolates from here are absolute quality - whether it's their truffles or bars, the assortments are incredible. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. Can't wait to order some to New York!

Chocolates are undeniably great! But if you like ice maple lattes on a hot day, try theirs!!

All the chocolate here is top-notch! We've bought their hot chocolate mix before, so I was very excited to get to visit a Lake Champlain Chocolates store in person. It didn't disappoint, with so many different chocolates, truffles, barks, and even ice cream and hot or iced chocolate! We purchased a maple bark, peanut butter cup, and macadamia nut cluster (pictured) and WOW, they were good. The macadamia nut cluster was incredibly rich and flavorful, and was large enough to be a dessert on its own! The maple bark was outstanding, and my husband said the PB cup was super tasty! The chocolate isn't cheap--the total for those three items was $14.70--but the quality is excellent, and it makes great gifts. Definitely worth a visit!

My husband and I got ice cream. I got the maple butter pecan on a waffle cone and my husband got vanilla bean on a waffle cone. Sooo good on a summer day! The chocolates looked really good, too. We only got ice cream this time but next time we are in town we will try some chocolate!

We got some good chocolates here. Try the hot chocolate with whipped cream. So delicious!

Quality chocolate and a vast selection. They also make peanut brittle and hot cocoa mixes. Great seasonal treats around the winter holidays as well. I have enjoyed everything we have gotten here before and I can't wait to go back!

We had the best strawberry ice cream I have ever had in my life here. It was made with fresh, local strawberries and was just perfect. I got mine in a chocolate dipped waffle cone and it was so good. I would get that ice cream again and again and again.

The place is actually a chocolate store. But, we had the Belgian Chocolate ice cream here and it was one of the richest, thickest and most creamy ice-cream we ever had.
The chocolates looked amazing 😋but we did not buy them. In hindsight I feel we should have tried them too... But we'll next time 😊

COVID: This place went above and beyond on making ppl feel safe enough to be in the store. There was always someone at the door managing the number of ppl allowed in and the store never got crowded. (7/5) RATING

Food: Just got the regular hot chocolate with marshmallows(Pictured) and the peppermint hot chocolate. Both were good and what you would expect.

Great chocolate shop. They have hot chocolate, coffee (hot and iced) shakes and so many different kinds of chocolate to choose from! All tasted great!

Absolutely amazing coffee - probably the best I ever had around New England. Chocolates are also really good, especially the truffles.

Delicious and decadent shop with delectable morsels. Rich selection. Friendly staff.

A must-stop on Church St. Many delicious options. We got a treat here and stocked up later on Factory seconds (less expensive) at the Factory Store.

The Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip and the Coffee ice cream were incredibly delicious. We had an assortment of chocolates and they were all delicious l. It's what I expect for pricey chocolates

Sitting on a busy pedestrian only street this chocolate store stands out.

We walked in an the chocolate bar to the left was FILLED with anything and everything chocolate. Further down the table was a caramel forming station and the drink section. all of this was wrapped up in one lovely experience.

The staff was extremely friendly and even with a larger crowd was able to get to everyone in a timely fashion.

We were able to see the mix some chocolate, get a sample, and taste a delicious root beer float.

If you're in the area and love chocolate, give this place a shot. Well worth the time!

I stopped in for an espresso during my vacation and I was very impressed with how clean and organized the store was as well as how helpful the staff was. I ended up buying some chocolates for my wife at the advisement of Maddi. I wish I lived nearby so I could stop in more often, but I will certainly come back when I am in town.

The old world hot chocolate is perfect. Incredibly rich but not too sweet or bitter. Highly recommend the handmade marshmallow too! A wonderful drink to sip as you stroll, at the perfect temp to warm you up without burning your tongue (although it would be so incredibly worth it 💙)

The chocolates and truffles looked amazing, but we were there for the ice cream and it was delicious. Good value, fast and friendly service, and nice to be able to sit outside and watch the crowds go by on a warm day.

This is some of the best chocolate I've ever had. I've never found a darker dark chocolate, and the dark chocolate/peanut butter bars are incredible. I wish I could've tried a bit of everything, but there's always next time.
