Here in Town visiting ! & I really like the Brand. Walked very clean 🧼 and stocked ! I wish there was just one section for all the cups ! I was looking for the Stanley Cups & I had to walk to another section! Overall great experience.

I drove from Pinellas to this location to exchange an optic for my pistol. The staff was extremely helpful. Especially the hunting/shooting section. They made my exchange for a different optic extremely easy.
I will make the drive for that customer service any day of the week! Thank you!

Nice place. It smells so new inside. High quality merchandise with excellent customer service. Slid my guy a little tip! Why? Because he could have walked away after the 1st question. Nope, he owned the entire situation n walked my son all over the store to gather everything safety related he needed for his new mini bike.

I had a great experience I brought my son in for fishing stuff and we talked with Dino he was very knowledgeable and set up my son with great stuff! He caught fish the next day! If you want good recommendations for fishing I’d ask for Dino in outdoors!

Dino in the fishing dept had great customer service and was SUPER friendly in helping my son pick a new rod and reel. he made a few helpful suggestions on tackle and how to add line to an older rod. my son caught a 4lb bass on the new setup the next day! thanks, Dino!

For a local sporting and outdoors store it will be my first stop compared to the others. I've been to dozen plus Academy Sports stores... this one might be the best (granted it is is newest)... compared to others they have a pretty expansive selection in certain areas not found in many other Academy's (e.g., higher end baseball gloves). It is certainly the biggest that I have been to. I like the new layout/design, I have seen it in a few others. It is certainly much better than Tallahassee's which feels run down and unfriendly. The employees here are a bit inexperienced; however, the 3 times I have been so far someone has tried to help. If I had an area they could improve upon it is in the cleats and specialty athletic shoe department.

Robert the manager working the gun counter on 12/10/23 was very helpful quick and made the process simple, other employee on the other hand was very slow but Robert stepped in and finished the transaction.

Great selection of fishing lures, clothing and gear if you need any help in regards to fishing go to my boy Dino, he’s a very experienced angler and employee and will for sure help you catch you’re PB!

Very happy to have Academy Sports & Outdoors in the area. We missed it since we moved from Texas to Florida.
We found a pair of tennis shoes at a great price for ASICS that is.

It's really nice to have some additional sporting goods store competition in the area. The store is easy to navigate, the quality of their own brand is solid, and the prices fair.

Our go-to for all of our sports needs and essentials. We are here often because my girls play a lot of sports. Just wish they offered a military discount, but we still shop here.
