The Chill Zone WV

I have been coming here not long after they first opened, and I must say their ice cream and Italian ice are the best around!! The milkshakes are delicious as well!! Please disregard any negative reviews you see because they are lies! The owners are awesome people, and provide great customer service!

This place is absolutely amazing! Very family friendly! The best home made ice cream EVER! Love the fact they have so many choices every week. Great hospitality, super friendly and very clean. They honestly love pleasing their customers. They have a fresh groovy environment! Love the art work! The Italian Ice is very authentic and delicious!

This place is awesome! The owners are great and personable! They treat everyone just like family. I have tried every flavor they have and I can’t have just one favorite since they all are equally good. I highly recommend anyone that likes homemade ice cream or Italian ice to give this place a try. You will be hooked and won’t want to go anywhere else for your cold dessert. The customer at the East Pea Ridge or the Barboursville park are equally no matter who is serving I personally guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Owners were friendly and accommodating. The scoop size was a good size for the price. I wish they would had more of the basic flavor ice creams like strawberry and plain chocolate. They have a large variety of Italian ice and unique flavors of ice cream.
The quality is great. My partner has banana and it had large chunks of banana in it. The butter pecan I had was full of whole pieces of pecans. They definitely arnt skipping on the ingredients thats for sure. It was a great experience I will definitely go back.

Amazing homemade ice cream and Italian ice!

this place was amazing! me and my boyfriend stopped by after googling ice cream in the area, and had never heard of the chill zone before, and saw all the awesome reviews.. so we decided to try it out. and we were not disappointed! the owners were so so sweet, and told us they’re the top 2nd ice cream shop from Barborsville to Charleston!! such amazing customer service, and the ice cream is all homemade and taste great!! we live in proctorville, but will definitely be making more trips up here!

Craig and team run the best ice cream shop in town. Delicious, cold treats coupled with a family-friendly atmosphere makes the ice cream even better! Would highly recommend The Chill Zone to anyone looking for homemade ice cream on a hot summer day!

The ice cream here is legit! They are always crafting new and creative flavors and they have all been excellent. I haven't tried their Italian ice but it looks equally as good. Hours seem to be pretty streamlined at the time of this review but I'd recommend checking their Facebook page as they tend to fluctuate. Go try it!

Great place to come with your family to get ice cream Italian ice and more! The owner and his family are amazing and work extra hard to make sure you have the perfect taste every time! This place is absolutely amazing! The owner of this place is amazing! He hand makes all of these icecream flavors and makes sure they taste perfect! All of the flavors are amazing! This place isn’t to known yet and I feel like everyone should know of the chill zone! It is the best icecream in the tristate and even the whole world!

My wife and I got ice-cream and Italian ice. The latter was the best I've ever had, and the former was probably the best I've had in WV. The service was excellent. Craig (the owner) was friendly, kind, professional, personable, and extremely generous with the free sample sizes!

Chill Zone has great ice cream and Italian ice. All the products are homemade and are outstanding. The prices are also great. They are open on some Sundays but just write to them on Facebook and they will let you know if they are open.

Great ice cream & service! They have a bunch of unique homemade ice cream and Italian ice flavors. My husband got a banana pudding ice cream that was amazing and I got a lemon ice that was perfectly sweet, tart, and light 😊
