Great people, busy place delicious. Best in Ottawa for sure. $27 without tip for in town delivery of cheese pizza with pepperoni and mushroom with extra ranch and pizza sauce, worth the coin!

In Ottawa for work , I had a taste for pizza and found Sam's. A very good find. Had their Sam's special. It's a really good thin crust pizza. I'm definitely going to order from there again.

One piece of this pie could be enough for lunch. My stuffed pizza with a top crust and sauce on top was allot like a huge round Calzone. I was in the Chicago area and had to have some Chicago style pizza. I asked a local where I could find good local pizza and got a quick and certain answer. SAM'S PIZZA!

I would go back, and take friends to help eat one of these. Everyone was friendly and the pizza was prepared ASAP and brought to my table promptly.

If heaven smells like Pizza 🍕 Sam's is Devine.

I looooovvveee the beef roll pizza! I live in Rockford and love hiking and every time I'm at starved rock i have to stop at Sam's...been a patron since 2007 and hopefully for the for seeable future 🙃🥰🥰✌💫💯

Pizza is always consistent. Beef roll always has a good amount of meat in it.

Worth the money.

Sam's is arguably the best pizza in northern Illinois, which makes it arguably the best pizza in the world.

Thin (but not too thin), crispy crust, savory sauce (I'm not a fan of sweet sauce, which I know some prefer, hence my 'arguably' qualifier), perfect balance of toppings and just the hint of brown on the cheese.

Square cut tavern style, like god and Harry Carey decreed.

I literally fly across the country from Texas for this pizza (and to visit family still in Illinois, I guess, but it's really about the pizza). There's just nothing else like it anywhere.

There is not one bad thing I can say about this place!!!! We got a beef roll and a pizza and it was totally the best food we’ve had in a long time! The service was awesome too! You won’t regret your choice!! Thank you Sam!

The Beef Roll Pizza here is out of this WORLD. It’s huge so when my boyfriend and I order we can share a small. The beef has great flavor and the crust holds up nice despite there being a lot of juice from the beef. Super buttery and delicious. We have had their regular pizza which is good too!

Try the beef roll...and if you are a fan of garlic (like me) have them make it a garlic beef roll...you won't regret it! Without a doubt best beef roll in the area! The family that owns and operates is friendly and funny and this is just an easy going hometown pizza joint with some good flavor combos! BBQ chicken pizza is my kids favorite and the special is always a hit too! Bring cash or your checkbook....and be ready to be rolled out in a wheelbarrow because you won't leave hungry.

I can’t say enough nice things about Sam’s Pizza! We tried it for the first time it was delicious! I had the gluten free pizza it was amazing! My husband had regular he loved his too! They also delivered to us we were from out of town staying at the resort and they still delivered outside of their normal delivery range. They were very kind, polite, showed genuine appreciation for their tip as well! We will definitely give them our business when we’re in Ottawa!

Scrumptious pizzas and excellent, personalized service from Sam's Pizza in Ottawa! We had numerous pizzas delivered for our family reunion and couldn't have been more pleased with the quality and taste of the pizzas and the awesome customer service. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area!

Always great people making delicious pizza! When you walk-in your greeted before the door closes behind you. Picked up a beef roll. So large an thick with beef n cheese you couldn't eat more that one piece .

Great pizza unlike any other! Been eating Sam’s my entire life and it always is excellent. Good family run business that know the customers and treat them right. Beef roll is excellent if your not in the mood for traditional pizza.
