I can’t stress enough how much I encourage you not to use Shipley. Customer service is some of the absolute worst that I’ve ever come across, total lack of respect or follow up, employees are not friendly, and they are fully committed to trying to scam customers out of money. After confirming with several different people on several different occasions, we signed up for a protection plan. Tech came out. Said our furnace was in fine shape just needed some connections pushed on a bit tighter. I get a call shortly after he left that the notes are that the unit is in horrible condition and that they were pulling the contract and charging us full price ($60 turning into $200-$700 minimum). An absolute scam attempt. If you push back and hold them accountable they back off, but then you’re burned for future service because they charge you a ton moving forward. Totally not worth the headache. For you and your families sake, choose someone else.
