The Kraken's Cup

Cori was our server and was an absolute delight! The food is delicious (I could eat a bowl of the chicken salad). I had the Marble Ci-Tea, as did my lunch companions, and got to try the Queen of Hearts tea and Blackbeard's Tea, both of which were delicious. I would absolutely love to have a tin of both to take home. The music and the decor of The Kraken's Cup is perfect, which hidden treasures tucked around the shop and gorgeous old big band and jazz standards from the early 20th century playing. You truly feel as if you've stumbled into an old study to take refreshment before going out on an adventure.

Came back for a second visit, this time to celebrate my and my husband's anniversary. Stellar experience again, this time with Vic and Scarlet taking care of us. The Kraken's Cup has added precious little bread puddings to start your tea adventure, and they were so delicious! Can't wait to visit again, especially with all the fun activities they have planned in the coming weeks!

Can't say enough good things about this wonderful little "tea house" or our server, Scarlett! What a find! Love the peaceful, old library vibe and 1930's music. Food was really good and the scones are huge. We thoroughly enjoyed the Marble City Tea. It was a lot of food; we didn't leave hungry. Thought $36 for the amount of food and endless tea was appropriate. As I mentioned earlier, Scarlett was a great server. Every need was anticipated and Scarlett made some excellent tea recommendations. Whenever we are in Kville, we will return.

This place was beyond amazing. We had a group of 7 ladies that came and our waiter, Nemo, was really nice. While he said he was only working on 30% capacity, he was really on top of all of our orders. While he did accidentally mess up on one of our teas, he quickly fixed it right away.

We tried a variety of teas. The tea pots that all came with the tea were all unique. The individual tea cups and plates were also unique. Everything was clean and the food was fantastic. While the servings were a little smaller than I originally anticipated, between the tea and the food, I left feeling extremely content.

I had the garden salad with rotisserie chicken and basamic dressing was great!

I would definitely came back up this way again!!

We had an absolutely wonderful time here at afternoon tea. My friend and I both decided to do the Marble Ci-tea option, and we were pleasantly surprised by how much food was offered. The afternoon tea includes pastries, sandwiches, scones, fresh fruit, and cheese. Of course, you can't forget the tea itself! I had the Queen of Hearts, a wonderful black tea with hints of marzipan and the scent of rose petals. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We felt right at home. I can't wait to come back, either with a friend or by myself withna good book.

A beautiful spot for high tea. They have everything you want from high tea; mini sandwiches and snacks, bite size deserts, a large selection of exotic teas, etc. Not to mention two different atmospheres for high tea! Will definitely be back for another session!

This place couldn’t be cuter! Huge variety of teas, delicious food, and amazing service by Nemo. The sugar cubes of different shapes and colors are adorable! I felt like I was at high tea in London again.

Really beautiful tea garden! A really wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was so fresh and really tasty. We had the chocolate cake and the black tea and both were very good. Can’t wait to try more!

Great experience. Super fun to have tea here and to enjoy the fun. Whimsical and a great experience of high tea. They have two restaurant sides to choose from the garden and library, and the service tea and tea sandwiches, scones (with three different options for toppings) and snacks were all wonderful.

My friends and I visited today and we all got the afternoon tea service. We all chose different flavored teas, all of which were delicious, and served piping hot. The pastries and sandwiches were all presented so beautifully and were very flavorful. The staff was very knowledgeable, and friendly, and the location was so cute and cozy. We will definitely be back again.

Amazing tea house! One of the best I've been too. Their food is amazing, the tea is wonderful. I tried their Yellow Honey fairyland and it was so perfect. We had the afternoon tea and so much food and so filling. Wonderful service and beautiful decorations! Even a little gift shop at the front! Prepare to be here about 2 hours it is an experience worth it.100/10 recommend you try this new spot

Such a fun and unique experience! Corey did a great job taking care of us and the tea was delicious! I've always been a coffee drinker, but if I could have tea from the Kraken's Cup every day I could be converted!

Chicken salad and scone was delicious on rye swirl bread too!

lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and great tea. Perfect for living your posh life fantasy at a really good price. There’s a tea pairing for literally anybody. I came in with a very specific flavor profile I was looking for and still had trouble narrowing down to one (I’ll have to come back for the others). Staff was knowledgeable (Shout out to our server Nemo) and helped me and my bf through the menu since it was our first time there. Definitely going to find me there again very soon!

A marvelous, lightly steampunk, age of exploration focused tea house. They have two dining rooms: the nautically themed red room, and the cottage core blue room, both of which are comfortable places to spend time.

The staff is friendly and courteous, and knowledgeable about tea. And the tea itself is amazing, perfectly steeped and presented.

Great place for afternoon tea. My wife and I came for afternoon tea and had the full experience with the small finger food, pastries, desert and tea. Everything was well prepared, tasted great and they have a nice selection of tea to choose from. The sign says eclectic eatery and that’s exactly what it is. The way it was decorated I would have thought they’ve been in business for a while. I was surprised to hear they’ve only been open a few months. One side is decorated more masculine, while the other side has a more feminine feel to it. Very welcoming and all the staff were very friendly. Check this place out… my wife and I will definitely be back.

My favorite place in Knoxville. Feel the stress melt away while eating a beautiful array of foods and drinking from an astounding tea list. The library is a feast for the eyes where you can see Octavius, the Kraken ready to play chess! Everything is so cute and delightful. The light sounds of jazz and birdsong adorn the tea garden, while brunch on the patio are especially rewarding given the wonderful spring temperatures.

I sincerely hope that this is the first of many locations across the south, as we all need a stress free retreat.

We had a wonderful time at The Kraken’s Cup today! Perfect atmosphere for the best cup of Earl Grey—named Bwana Grey. The employees were friendly and walked us through all the options. A staggering 88 teas!!!!

Fantastic tea and food! Best scones I've ever had. The right side as you walk in is more of a tablecloths tea garden and the left side is more books and high adventure. Something for everyone! Can't wait to come back and bring more friends.

My friend and I came for afternoon tea. We had a wonderful time. We tried all kinds of snacks and two different types of teas, and all were wonderful.

Just got back from the first of what will be many visits to The Kracken's Cup. Simply put, their tea and sandwiches were fantastic. We tried the Minnesota N'ice and Black Arrow teas and I highly recommend them both. If you get a scone, try it with the lemon curd and whipped cream together - so good!

The service, the staff, the environment, the tea it's all so wonderful. Everytime we go I find something new I didn't notice before. One of my favorite places in the area.
