Monical's Pizza

Stopped in on our way home to Chicago and couldn’t have thought of a better spot. We called in so that our food was ready when we go there to dine in. The girl on the phone was super nice and when we got there our table was ready with our food. The pizza is the best and most definitely in my top 3! The salad was fresh and was perfect with the pizza. Will definitely stop here again when passing through.

Monical's Pizza is one of the best pizza places on the planet, but on top of the fact that Monical's is fantastic, the Arcola Monical's is the best of all of them.

If you have a large group that is going to eat in, I would recommend that you call ahead by a few days because they are sometimes not the most accommodating for very large groups. But if you have somewhere between 8 to 10 people they will usually work with you pretty well if you just show up.

Overall you really just cannot go wrong with Monical's.

I travel all over the country for my job. I have eaten at many places. The best pizza I would have to recommend this restaurant. I enjoyed every bit. Thank you.

Great dining experience, the food was warm and tasty, with a nice selection of toppings and the side selections were great also. The employees were very polite, courteous and attentive and made sure everything was good. The place was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking and conveniently located just off the Interstate.

Stopped here for a late lunch / early dinner while on a long drive. Friendly staff and the monicals menu hit the spot. I had a meatball sub that did not skimp on meatballs. The pleaser option with a salad is a great choice. I added the mozarella sticks and they were good as well. All in all I recommend this monicals. The building may be old but it's got great food (not just pizza) and friendly folks.

Ordered online for take out. The pizza was delicious. Staff was friendly.

This location is great. Me and my family was greeted was great with taking our orders the food was excellent. The Lasagna is delicious was very hot. Oh the lettuce was VERY fresh. Will definitely be back when I am in Arcola

Best thin crust pizza and worth the 11+ hour drive from Texas. I've been to several Monical's locations and Arcola is the best every time. I always try to go as many times as possible during my visits back to Illinois.

This is one of the best monicals we have visited. Greeted when we got to counter. Servers were friendly and attentive. Food was hot and good. Did not take a long time to get our food either. Ordered at the counter and they brought it to our table. Had drinks and salad to table very quickly after we sat down. Checked on us several times and offered drinks to go. Will definitely be back.

Good heavens, Monical's is good!! Remember those dunk tanks at the fair? Fill one of those up with Monical's French dressing, sit me on the plank, and send your best pitcher -- I'm in!! I'll swim in that stuff. And OMG thin crust never tasted so good. And that SAUCE, 🤤🤤

Awesome pizza and the service was top notch. Unlike most pizza places where a server doesn't check to see how everything is, we had 2 people stop at our table numerous times to see if the pizza was okay and if we needed anything. We will definitely come here again when we are in the area!

When you grew up with this pizza its a must have when you go home to visit. Never had bad experience at any location. Great staff and amazing deluxe thin crust pizza. The French dressing is divine. They actually sell it now in restaurant because its so good.

I absolutely love this place!! My favorite restaurant in Illinois, and have been to this location many times!! I absolutely love the premium quality of the people who work here, they appreciate me and treat me like a king. Excellent servers, cashiers and managers. I really feel at home at Monical's Pizza, especially the one in Arcola. If you are driving throigh Illinois, do NOT miss your opportunity to dine in at Monical's. Great people, great service.

My husband had pizza and I had lasagna both were very good. We would definitely do it again!

Great pizza! Mondays they have a special 1 large pizza any way you want it for $13! Family usually gets together once a month to enjoy.

I live out of state now so when I visit I come in a lot to get my Monicals fix. Over the last week and a half, whenever I’ve come in the servers have all been wonderful and attentive. And the pizza has been perfect. The dining room also looked clean and sanitary. 10/10 wish I didn’t live so far away.

I also want to shout out a server, I didn’t get her name unfortunately but this should be specific enough she’ll know if she sees it. My twin girl toddlers were using the Parmesan shakers themselves and apparently some of the other customers were making snarky comments about it being unsanitary or something (which makes no sense, they were literally just shaking it on our food not even putting it in their mouths) and before I left our server apologized to me for it and gave my girls a cookie. She didn’t need to as it didn’t bother me but it was very sweet of her.

We took a group of 30 7th grade students here for lunch Friday early afternoon. Arcola Monical's not only let us order ahead (Charleston's Monical's was unwilling to do so), but they even had the tables set and pizza ready for us when we arrived. The servers were friendly and efficient. The staff exceeded our expectations and the pizza was delicious, as usual. Fantastic!

Best pizza! Perfect proportions of meat, sauce and cheese. The crispy crust is so good that I eat all of it. No saving the edges for the dog... Thank you, Doug, for making us a pizza early and allowing us to pick it up as we travelled through Illinois!
