It was our first time there and we had a blast! We really wanted to make a memory before the end of the summer break, so we booked the off-road adventure. It was sooo awesome! We never got so close to the animals so the kids had so much fun feeding them especially the zebras! The staff were all very friendly. The kids also won the prize of Peacock feathers! Highly recommended.

This place is such a cool find in what seems like the middle of nowhere in Illinois! The pricing is very very good, not expensive at all, I was easily able to book and pay online, and every staff member we encountered was friendly. We got to see many animals and the drive through experience was very neat (I truly had no idea camels were THAT tall!)
Definitely check this out if you’re anywhere around the area, this place deserves your business!

This is an amazing place to get up close and personal with a wide variety of animals. The wagon ride was great, and our guide was very knowledgeable of all the animals in the park. The prehistoric museum was a really nice bonus. The watering hole has delicious ice cream, nachos, hot dogs, pretzels, and shaved ice, definitely worth a stop. The animals all appear to be very well taken care of. You can definitely notice that the animals are the star of the show. Overall, it was a great place to spend some time with animals. We are planning on returning and doing some of the personal animal interactions.

Always enjoy this place!! The kids love experiencing the animals up close (tip: take the wagon ride as the animals know to follow that around and save yourself the risk of drying your own vehicle).

Delightful! Aikman's Wildlife Park is a wonderful getaway for a sunny summer afternoon. This is a perfect place for young kids to spend a couple of hours encountering nature's beauty. They offer both walk through and drive through tickets. Opt for the combo for the best experience. Just be warned, the animals in the drive through section like to park in the middle of the road.

The wagon ride to feed some of the animals was awesome! The kids loved it!
For $25.00 you can walk through part of the area, ride the wagon through another area, and walk through the pre-historic display. They have a snack bar half way through the park to cool yourself off with a refreshing snack, beverage or a flavorful icee.

We had the best time of our lives today at this place. The animals were all so friendly and amazing, especially Rocket. The place was very clean and easy to maneuver through. Also our guide James was the best and very knowledgeable, made the whole experience amazing for us. Will be going here again and again!

P.S. the behind the scenes is worth every penny and the best way to experience it all

We took the off road tour and we had so much fun. The owner drove us and he told us about how the park came about, names of the animals, what kind if animals they were, gave us so much food for the animals. And the animals were so awesome. We then did the petting zoo where Clifford the cow was a hit, we also did the kangaroo adventure. The prehistoric museum was so fun too. Our teens loved it all. We will be back in the spring!

Had a fabulous time! Did the drive-through, the petting zoo/walk-through, and the prehistoric animal display. Great pictures, lots of animals, and decent prices including the gift shop!

This place is like a mini safari in Africa! You can drive through a loop at your own risk and encounter animals that may come right up to your car. It's like a drive-thru zoo! Just talking about it makes me want to visit again. I've been here 3-4 times in the past year, and it never disappoints! I've also been to other zoos like St. Louis Zoo, Peoria, Lincoln Park, and Miller Park Zoo. Additionally, there's a separate area next to the zoo that you can enter. It's an extension of the zoo and has wild peacocks freely roaming outside of cages. With a tour, you can even go inside and pet or hold the wallabies. While it's not as large as most zoos, it's definitely sufficient if you have a small child or want a shorter but wholesome experience. They also have a small dinosaur room featuring common dinosaur species. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. This place is a hidden gem in the Amish Community.

We had gone last year and enjoyed this place. Returned again today and they have expanded. It's an awesome place for little ones. I have an older nephew that has disabilities so this is perfect place for him (not so overwhelming). It's a bit of a trek for us, but so worth it. ❤

Our first visit and all I can say is WOW!!! We took our 2 grandsons and it was an amazing adventure…not 1 dull moment. We all LOVED it! We did the “Behind the scenes” and it was well worth it. James was so informative and knowledgeable! You could feel the love he has for his animals! The facility was beautifully maintained, clean, friendly and helpful staff and you could easily see the animals loved their freedom! Highly recommend this adventure for all ages!

My daughter and I had a epic time at Aikman Wildlife Adventure. Great staff and facilities. All the animals are very well taking care of. Totally worth the drive out there. The museum is really nice, unique and simply stunning. We did the wagon tour and was well worth it. Memories that are unforgettable we're made on my trip. Can't wait to revisit in the future.

Our son (almost two) loved this place! It's the perfect size for him to walk around and see the animals and have a great time. Was really impressed with everything and was glad that we came here on our day off. He really enjoyed the dinosaur exhibit. I would definitely recommend to anyone with younger kids to check it out.

We took the 3 hour drive all the way from Chicago and had an amazing experience. We chose the off road adventure and our guide was very nice and informative of all the animals. We'll definitely be back in a couple of years as they are making exciting expansion plans. I definitely suggest to friends and family that are animals lovers
