Vita's Taqueria

This place is awesome, and I will definitely be back again! I ordered a veggie burrito. It was delicious! The salsa verde was the best I've ever had in my entire lifetime. I basically devoured half of the bottle with my food!!

I have never been disappointed with the food here. It's fresh and delicious every single time! The tacos are fabulous, the nachos are great, the burritos are huge, and the tamales are the die for (if you can get a hold of them on a Saturday, they sell out quickly!). Don't forget to try the elote!

Great food all around. The elote was delicious, creamy and tangy. The birria tacos were also great. The person working the register was very kind and helpful as well.

Was taken here for the first time by my daughter, an Eastern Illinois alumni, before heading to the awesome Aikman Wildlife Adventure park, and it was DELICIOUS! Friendly staff from the start, even the head cook came out to welcome me to this lovely, Mexican cultural with a hint of Frida decorated eatery, and invited me to taste some very very delicious and authentic food! Chicago I feel reigns in great Mexican food in Illinois, but this spot, about 3 hours south of Chicago, made sure to make a point that even in rural areas of Illinois, there is great and authentic food! We shared a yummy torta de carne Al Pastor that was perfect, from the bread to the scrumptious and savory meat! We also shared two types of sopes, one of Al Pastor and the other of Asada, that wowed me because of the serving of meat to the perfect size and quality of the masa but also the great taste! Theres a presence of both Monterey and Toluca not just in the food, but the warmth of the staff and taqueria! A must do if you find yourself near Arcola, IL. #graciastotales

This place is like being home. their Cheeseburger with Pastor, grilled onion, white cheese, green salsa is finger-licking, the Tacos al Pastor are the BOM with cilantro, onion, grilled onion, lime oooo man they just make my mouth water just writing about it. also, all the staff are outstanding and very friendly. I'm always pleased with their service, and the owner (Cynthia) is always around making sure everything is perfect and well served. I've ate almost everything in their menu, and they always go above and beyond on their food.

It was absolutely amazing. The menu is simple including basic Mexican street fair. They also serve massive burritos. Unfortunately I am only passing through, otherwise I would love to try the entire menu.

The pricing is fair in accordance with the inflation we're going through, my steak burrito was $11 and tacos are $3.. the taste however justifies the price.

Love this place! it's been nothing but good experiences for me and my friends. I definitely recommend trying out a variety of items if you can the crazy burger and burritos are my favorite. But cannot go wrong with the tacos.

Vita's has the best authentic Mexican tacos i had since moving from Chicago. Vitas also in my top 3 all time Mexican food i have ever had.

Every time I come home to Arcola, I crave Vitas right away! Their Sopes are my personal favorite, it’s amazing every single time!!!
