Gabriella Italian Restaurant

Went there for dinner. Food was great except for the calamari. It was a little soggy. But the main course was good. The Crème brûlée was amazing. We also tried some coffee & it was good.
Loved the atmosphere & vibe.

The food was AMAZING, the service absolutely on point. Overall, I would recommend to anyone looking for the most authentic Italian food, this side of the Atlantic. We were there on a Wednesday night, and it was quite busy, but we were seated quickly. Reservations are definitely encouraged.

We sat at the bar and I must say it was exceptional service and the food was so amazingly good. We will most definitely return. Thank you for such a great experience.

The food was absolutely delicious! Everyone of us loved what we ordered. Service was great. Our server was helpful, prompt, and kind. Definitely a place I'll return to.

2024-03 update.
Server was very attentive. Quick on water refills, and soda drinks.
Ordered a bottle of wine, complimented the meats perfectly.
House bread arrived just after appetizers. It was soft inside with the perfect crust. It only comes with sesame seeded.
Calamari, sauteed, the sauce is perfect for dipping the bread into.
Veal pops medium rare, moist and delicious and very flavorful.
T-bone - ordered medium rare, arrived well done. Even well done, it was delicious. I did send it back. The new steak arrived a perfect medium rare.
Desserts - beautiful presentation.
Something there for most to choose from. The frozen lemon is a fun dessert.

Everything was exceptional. Service by Mario was exceptional. He is on the ball, he knows the menu.
Dinner was apps, entrees and desserts.
Every single item order was perfect.
The calamari was lightly breaded, fried perfectly, tasted delicious.
Shrimp and ravioli was cooked to perfection.

We’ve heard so many great things about this place and we were so excited to try it! The food was amazing and the service was spot on! We started with a bottle of wine and the burrata caprese and it was absolutely amazing! We each had a salad, which their caesar salad is amazing and would highly recommend. I had the chicken picatta and my wife had the halibut special, both were very good with a side of gluten-free pasta and marinara sauce. We moved to the bar for desert and expresso martinis. The drinks and desert were really good, the bartender was awesome and the bar is just a cool place to end the night! I would strongly suggest reservations as this is a busy place and you aren’t just going to walk in. I would highly recommend Gabriella Italian Restaurant for people looking for good Italian food in the Harrisburg area.

Gabriella consistently has excellent food and service. We always enjoy our meals here. However, parking can be difficult. The outdoor area is also very nice if you enjoy that.

I first dined at Gabriella back in 2016. At that time, it was easily the best Italian restaurant in central Pennsylvania. Fast forward 8 years later, after I've had the opportunity to try multiple other area restaurants, and it's still the best Italian restaurant in central Pennsylvania.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is homey, and feels like you're dining at a family member's house. Better yet, it feels like a family member you like 😂. I've never had a bad service experience and the food is always top notch. I've tried a wide variety of appetizers, salads and entrees. Every time, I've been completely satisfied.

If you haven't been to Gabriella, then you're missing out on some of the best Italian food in this entire region. Check it out!.

This was my first time visiting, but I’ve always heard great reviews. The food was really good! Everything from start to finish was delicious! I forgot to take a picture of my entree for this review, since I was so excited to dig in. I started with an appetizer special which was lamb lollipops in Marsala sauce. I had the Chicken Oscar with linguine in tomato sauce for my entree. The Caesar salad was good. I was really full, so I decided to take my entree and the three chocolate mousse to go. Everything tasted fresh. The restaurant was busy, so it was a little bit noisy. Overall, the food was worth it. I’ll definitely be back!

This it's my favorite Italian restaurant in the area. The service is fantastic with services that have been there for years. They know the menu. They know the specials. They know how to help you be happy.

The drinks are well crafted.

The food! I have had so many good meals here. Every one was celebration worthy.
My friend got the manicotti. She said it was light and delicious. I had the chicken francese.

Absolutely scrumptious. Their food is magnificent. Italian at its finest. Portions are fairly large, so most likely you will have leftovers (always a good things). Their pasta sauce is totally original, so good! Their staff is nothing but friendly and accommodating. Our waitress had a large group with many demands for the holidays, and she was so sweet and attentive. Their bar staff members were also very friendly. I would definitely recommend! The only thing is that it was pretty crowded and loud, so hard to hear. They do have lovely outdoor seats with heaters, so you can’t even tell it’s outside technically! 10/10 come here!!

This place was absolutely amazing. It was indeed an authentic Italian restaurant and cuisine. We were treated very well and it was obvious that it was our first time there. A gentleman from the kitchen made some menu suggestions and also helped me surprise my lady with a fine desert with a candle for her Birthday. My steak was cooked to my desired temperature which made me extremely happy because a lot of restaurants never cook steak properly. All of the food was punching with flavor and had good texture. The Penne could have been cooked a little longer but no complaints. We tipped our waitress 25 % for her excellent customer service skills. I highly recommend that everyone give this place a try. Well be back soon.

Gabriella's is definitely my favorite restaurant in Dauphin County. I have now been there twice and I am consistently impressed. I enjoy the food, cocktails, atmosphere and service.

My favorite meal is the shrimp salmon penne. Not only was the flavor fantastic, but also the quality and quantity as well. And I can't forget my favor cocktail the Lavender Sour. By far the best cocktail I have ever had. I asked our server for the recipe at the end of our meal.

The quality of the restaurant doesn't end there. It even extends to the restrooms where they had high quality toilet paper instead of cost saving by purchasing lesser quality.

I would recommend them to any friend or family member in the area.

Great food and service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Unless sitting at the bar, I recommend making a reservation. Parking is VERY limited.

Delicious! Upgraded the side of pasta to try the Alfredo sauce - well worth it!!

First time here. I had Crab cakes for appetizers and filet mignon for entrée. Let me just say that both were simply amazing! I also had the watermelon margarita which had just the right amount of alcohol and flavor. Service was great! Can't wait to go back and try other menu items.

Went on our 40th wedding anniversary-May 19th, 2023. Our real date is the 20th, but we had other plans.
Yummy sausage & peppers & lamb pops; salad. For dinner, I had filet mignon in a marsala sauce with mushrooms & steam brocolli. My hubby had a special fish dinner over linguini. I give it a
10/10 for service, atmosphere & food!

Went back for lunch on May 28, 2023.
Had the same appetizer of sausage & peppers; salad. My hubby got the lamb pop entree with asparagus, mushrooms & potatoes. I got filet mignon in a marsala sauce with mushrooms & steamed brocolli. My hubby got creme brulee for dessert. Heidi, our waitress was fabulous!! It is always yummy, always consistent. 10/10.
And, a shout out to Brian, the bartender - always a pleasure!

My hubby & I went for our Christmas celebration. We had sausage and peppers, salad & bread. I had a lobster dish in a white garlic sauce with brocolli and noodles. My hubby had a special beef ragu dinner. Oh my gosh! Both were yum yum yummy!!
Then cappuccino and creme brulee for dessert.
A wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff, reasonable prices & a great bartender (used to work at Briccos- another fav of ours but it closed). I give it a 10!

Great food, people, and would highly recommend. Only downside is that when it's busy it is very tight and can be a little claustrophobic. Make sure to make reservations, it is totally worth it.
