Sip + Savor - New American Restaurant + Bar

I have been to this perfectly wonderful restaurant quite a few times and it never disappoints. Today for Mothers Day was incredible! The food was perfect as always and their waitstaff are the nicest people. My husband and I eat out quite a bit and are disappointed with how other restaurant’s service and quality have gone downhill so much recently. Sip+Savor has kept their quality high and their servers well taught. The icing on today’s meal: the dessert!! Thank you Sip+Savor for a wonderful Mothers Day meal!!

Brunch meetup. Love this location. Can definitely have small events with ease. Definitely has an upscale feel has indicated by the name. My meal packed a flavorful punch. Little bit of a younger crowd seems to frequent. Noise level is great. Nice spot to converse over a meal. plenty of outside patio seating nice, modern decor, ambience

I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere at Sip and Savor. The interior is visually pleasing, with an amazing bar section. The seating, chandeliers, service, and decor all contribute to a peaceful and enjoyable experience. The large indoor and outdoor areas provide a comfortable setting. The cocktails not only tasted fantastic but were also visually appealing. Our food, including crispy and tasty French fries and delightful cauliflower garlic, added to the positive experience. I would definitely revisit this place, especially considering the inviting outdoor seating and overall pleasant ambience, situated conveniently in the middle of a mall.

We recently rented the private room for my husbands 40th surprise birthday party and Sip + Savor went above and beyond to make the party everything I hoped for. Jenn and Scott thought of all the details from food, drinks and decor and were very flexible with what I could bring in for the party. I asked if we could have a casino rental company bring in a craps table and they didn’t even hesitate to say yes! They moved furniture around and helped set up the room for us so we just had to show up for the surprise! The food and signature drinks were amazing and all of our friends kept telling us how good everything was. I highly recommend Sip + Savor for your next special event.

Yesterday was the second time we dined at Sip + Savor and although we thoroughly enjoyed dinner the first time out, yesterday’s lunch easily surpassed that. But first, I’ll rewind to a couple of weeks ago when the husbands of four close families decided we wanted to do a surprise group lunch for our lovely wives on Mother’s Day. Our group’s size was 13, so as you can imagine most of the popular restaurant options nearby that I reached out to were fully booked yesterday for a group that size. Jenn (one of the co-owners) reached back out to me and said she could make something work for us a little after the time we initially hoped for. I jumped at her offer, we exchanged several texts to curate a menu, and the stage was set.

When our party arrived right on time yesterday, we were seated immediately. Our table was nicely set up and custom menus of what we had curated were printed out on beautiful paper. Our server Jake (if I am not mistaken) arrived quickly to take our drink orders, and throughout the afternoon, he was always on top of things and eagerly fulfilled every small request we made. Other team members, too, came by to drop off things we had ordered, to fold our dinner napkins when anyone got up to run to the restroom, and to see if we were happy with our orders. Jenn, too, stopped by to see how we were enjoying our time. From the looks of what we left on our plate it seemed like everyone enjoyed the meal!

Their Bloody Mary (I asked for mine to be made spicy), Whipped Goat, Steak + Oscar, strawberry cake, and chocolate torte all hit the spot for me

S+S is certainly a local spot worth checking out and they have the room to accommodate larger groups as well. You can tell they take great pride in their food, presentation, and service and that goes a long way. If you have any qualms about anything you order, they will look to make it right. Thank you for making our ladies Mother’s Day gathering a memorable, tasty, and fun one – you guys & gals rock and we will see you again soon!

We took our kids (6 and 8 years old) to brunch at Sip + Savor, and ordered a few things for us all to share. We ordered the avocado toast, everything bagel, chicken & waffle, and of course the donut holes with amazing dipping sauces! The kids LOVED it and said it’s their new favorite place to eat. So thankful to have a kid-friendly restaurant, to share, enjoy and teach food appreciation!

PROs: Great location. Plenty of parking around the area. Indoor and outdoor seating. Classy and clean establishment. Amazing, friendly and attentive customer service. The food was great and decaf coffee was tasteful.
CONs: Nothing to keep us from returning.

Under $60, with tip, we ordered 'I Dip, You Dip, We Dip' (loved the title), Wagyu Breakfast sandwich, & The Traditional.

My wife and I visited sip and savor for the first time. We were very impressed with the wait staff, the restaurant, and the food. The coffee was spectacular, the food was delicious and well presented. The staff paid close attention to detail when setting other tables. The waiter mentioned the restaurant is privately owned, and treat their staff wonderfully. The bar menu has great options for morning afternoon and night.

Update May 2024: we keep coming back here, especially for birthdays. Shout out to the crew who work here. I added a note to our online reservation asking them to wish my wife a happy birthday when we got there. See the picture of the card they made for her! I've literally never experienced this level of personal touch at a restaurant before! This place is just the best. I highly recommend the bison bolognese. The crab cakes were almost all crab. So, so good.

My wife Yoanna saw the place being set up this weekend so when we saw it was opening this week we had to try it. Let me just say: we were absolutely wowed from the very beginning. First note: the service! Hostesses were able to seat the two of us right away, but get this: while they were setting a table up for us, another member of the staff hustled up to us at the hostess stand to make sure we had been served. We went right to our table, which was a lovely two-top half-booth. The ambiance was very intentionally eclectic and we enjoyed the vibe. The table layout was just the right balance of "active" but not "crowded". Our server, Claire, was a joy. Very knowledgeable of the menu, and was able to recommend some drinks. I've unfortunately forgotten the names of them, but the first round was their take on a margarita -- simple but powerful! Perfect amount of tajín on the rim -- and the one with Sazerac rye in it. I really enjoyed the effect of the rosemary on that one. They clearly understand flavor combinations here, but more on that in a bit. Second round was their take on an Old Fashioned -- one of the better takes I've had, and it's usually my go-to. And you can see it had some of the clearest ice I've ever had! Wife had the one with ginger and shishito pepper in it. Delicious!

For our food, we weren't terribly hungry so we split the charcuterie board. Let me say again: wow! Wonderful flavor combinations. The pork belly was especially top-notch, and the sausages were delicious. The pickled vegetables sure packed a punch, but I loved them! And like i said, they really seem to understand how flavors match up. Every item seemed to complement every other item. Highly recommended.

Back to the service: Claire was perfectly attentive: there when we wanted her, but otherwise not at all intrusive. She and the rest of the staff we encountered were incredibly friendly and happy to help us. In a time when many restaurants are struggling for staffing, it was great to see a full, attentive, and enthusiastic ensemble. We briefly chatted with Joshua (the service manager, I think?) and Jenn (co-founder) toward the end of our visit, and were left with a great sense of warmth and hospitality!

We will be back. Can't wait to try some of the other food items, and more of those great cocktails!

Update: we returned for my wife's birthday, 5/4/23. Whipped Goat starter, she got the bolognese, and I got the Ahi. Every dish was amazing! Our server, Fletcher, absolutely nailed it and helped steer us in the right direction (wife ordered the Ahi, he warned her it was spicy, and she's a Bad Mexican so she switched to the bolognese and I got the Ahi instead. Win/win!). He gave us some drink recos that were also a perfect accompaniment. Bravo!

Sip + Savor has an upscale ambience and an impressive wait staff that were attentive but not irritatingly so. The brunch was delicious and they serve the best mimosas. They have indoor and outdoor seating and it is truly a beautiful restaurant. The bathrooms were clean and the design in the women's bathroom was elegant. They have an exceptional wine list. The thing that impressed me the most was their many gluten free options. Having Celiac disease is hard when it comes to eating out, but they certainly catered to those of us that can't have gluten. Their gluten free bread was delicious and tasted homemade and fresh. We will be visiting again on our next trip to Denton.

We recently hosted a baby shower for my daughter in law at Sip + Savor. The restaurant atmosphere is so stylish and inviting. Our food was delightful, presentation was dreamy, and the wait staff were sweet and attentive. The owners were so gracious and invested in my happiness with the event. Nothing, but compliments!

I recently visited Sip and Savor and was blown away by the quality of the food. The tuna dish was especially delicious and perfectly prepared. It's clear that the chefs put a lot of care and attention into their dishes. Not only was the food tasty, but it was also beautifully displayed, making for a lovely dining experience.

The only downside was the lack of a kid's menu. While the food was fantastic, it would have been great to have some options for younger diners. However, this is a minor complaint and doesn't take away from the overall quality of the restaurant.

Overall, I highly recommend Sip and Savor for anyone looking for a great meal with excellent presentation. The lack of a kid's menu may be a drawback for some, but if you're willing to splurge on quality food, this restaurant is worth checking out.

Wow is all I can say. The service was fantastic. Connor made sure we were well taken care of and his recommendations were right on. The other service staff was also very attentive and came by often to check on us. The food was amazing. We had shishito peppers and cauliflower for appetizers and they were both fantastic. For dinner, my husband and one of our friends had the steak sandwich and they loved it. Our other friend had the sea bass and she raved about it. I had the highland village hippie sandwich and it was amazing. We will definitely back. From food to service to ambiance, this place hit it out of the park.

Went here last night and had an AMAZING experience from the moment we walked in the door. We felt more than welcomed by the friendly hostesses, and instantly excited by the design of the restaurant. Simply put, it’s gorgeous. The restaurant was full which is awesome to see and we could definitely understand why. The staff was top notch. They explained everything for us, and made awesome recommendations. I had a sweet and sassy martini and it was so so so good. We tried apps, entrees, desserts (the bread pudding is the best around). We saw the owners chatting with all the guests and pouring waters, and helping their staff the entire evening. You can tell they love their business and their customers. They made our evening. I hope this restaurant thrives! It’s such a great fit and I can’t wait to go back!

I was blown away. My wife has been trying to get me here because she had eaten here once before and loved it. I normally shy away from fancier looking places so I was hesitant. But we went and I decided to at least give the burger a try. Right away the waitress said it was delicious and that I would love it. And she was right ! I didn't modify the burger at all and it was AWESOME. Rich and full of flavor. And my wife loved the duck entrée that she ordered. Annalee was our server, and she was just as impressive as the food. So kind, nice smile, and super knowledgeable about the food. We ended our meal by splitting a lemon flavored bread pudding and it was heavenly. Annalee also recommended that ; ) . After desert a lady stopped by and asked how everything was. We complimented the restaurant and she said that she was the owner and looked forward to having us again. I have to say, this is a top spot. I look forward to taking some friends here in the near future. Thanks Annalee and to the owner for such a great time.

This is by far the best restaurant in this food category in Highland village mall. Must go, must visit, must indulge. The chef uses a wide variety of ingredients from North, South, East and West. The effect is an explosion of flavors in your mouth. They have a huge bar too and seating options are several. Take your date here and you might get lucky!

Excellent service! When my meal came out it was the wrong order. Not only did they promptly correct it, but the owner came and offered me a complimentary salad while I waited. I unfortunately cannot have raw vegetables yet due to recent intestinal surgery I just had. When I told him I couldn't eat that he asked me what he could get me and brought mac and cheese no questions asked. 10 minutes later my meal was out and everything was delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

We were there for our 16th anniversary, the food was great as most reviews say. We ordered the whipped goat for a starter which was great with their in house fresh naan , Double Chops and Wagyu tenderloin . The meats were very flavorful yet not overpowering with perfectly done sides. The best part is Jenn &Scott were there greeting everyone who walked in making all their guests feel at home.
Not to forget Jenn personally helped choose the best wine to go with our food.

Must say It was an overall experience . I will remember forever how my picky 11 yr old dug into those double chops , truly relished it 😀 and the surprise dessert platter sealed it for us. This place is an amazing addition to the flower mound/ highland village community.

I went to a Friday night dinner with friends. We sat down and were not rushed to choose our appetizers and wine. We had two appetizers. The Golden Skins and Tuna Poke. Both were delicious. The wine list is large enough to satisfy varied flavors. There was no pressure to choose and we appreciated the recommendation from the owners with conversations about the vineyard. We had two different bottles for our group. One was Hall and the other Frogs Leap. We had the pork chop, crab cakes and salmon. All were delicious. The pork chop was HUGE! The crab cakes were more crab than cake. We even saved some room for dessert. We had shared bread pudding and strawberry cake. The cinnamon flavor with homemade whipped cream was yummy. The strawberry cake was so moist. We had coffee and when they placed it on the table you could tell by the aroma, it was not ordinary black coffee. The owner said they have it blended for their restaurant. Our group enjoyed our experience and had such a wonderful evening. The service was top notch and friendly. This is a great place for a date night or an evening with girlfriends. You do not need to travel to Dallas to get a superior experience. I gave the atmosphere a 4 just because it can get a bit hard to hear.
