Horrible service support. No one answers left on hold. Internet disconnects often. I would not suggest this company for ur internet provider

The internet service we received was sub par, so we canceled and switched. I paid my final bill in full to CenturyLink, but they contacted me later saying I still owed $50. I discussed the matter with their customer service twice, concluding together both times that the $50 charge was in error. After that, they turned me in to collections and I am still getting calls from collections people 3 YEARS LATER! The matter was resolved, but CenturyLink failed to keep a record and I continue to be harrassed. A terrible experience trying to work with them. Zero stars.

It’s impossible to get a working phone number to cancel your service. I’m hoping I can call the office to get answers

I wish there was a less than one star. Customer services was poor and internet service not as promised as speed and reliability. I decided to discontinue my services the customer service lady arguing with me about why I’m leaving CenturyLink and continue not to listen when I simply ask to discontinue my services. So many holds and so many special teams I get forward to until I get forward to a supervisor.

I canceled my account just before the next billing cycle and I get a mail saying I owe full price for a month or till next billing cycle. If I overlap a day or so. How can Centurylink charge someone full price for a whole month and account that is closed plus no internet usage? Maybe that’s my bad on my part in not reading the contract but that’s just bad business and dishonesty to loyal customers.

I usually don’t write reviews like this but I should to help others in not making the same mistakes I did. Get the best service money can offer.Switching to Google fiber is the best choice I made.

I think even Comcast is better. They have physical locations all over the place but when you cancel they won't let you just drop it off at the store they make you box it up nicely and ship it. And then when you cancel they make you pay again one more time two weeks later to "cover for the last month."

For your sanity FIND A DIFFERENT INTERNET PROVIDER!!! This company is beyond incompetent. My apartment complex has been without internet for over 3days!! At first centurylink refused to send a technician out. Then they said our equipment was malfunctioning. Now Centurylink is saying discontinued our service (why no one knows!), and it took then over 3 days to realize they just needed to turn it back on!!!
Find someone else!!!!

This company is a joke. It crashes countless times a day, even when we don’t use it at all. The phone number I used for our account wasn’t “registered” by their automated system. We set up a technician appointment, but later tried to cancel it. The people on chat said no appointment was scheduled, and we got a call the day of, confirming the appointment that “wasn’t scheduled”. The system gave the option to cancel, and when I chose it, the system said I couldn’t and would keep the appointment. The technician had to call and ask about rescheduling, and I told him to cancel it. Century Link has been inconsistent on every level, and shouldn’t be in business at all.

This company is the only company that reaches hard line to my house and doesn’t care or plan to improve the service. They can’t give you what they offer but expect you to pay the full price and then use bogus excuses saying your at the end of the line and won’t get faster then that. They won’t take any action to fix the problem. It’s sad when your cell service is pulling 30 Mbps download and centurylink is only pulling 1 Mbps download.

They need to put repeaters or a booster on to increase the signal and cut the bogus end of the line excuse, or do proper network management and plan to end the lines at a distance that there contracts will support. Also placing more main boxes to push the lines further so they don’t have to lie and take peoples money.

They should firer the network engineer/ manager and get someone that knows how to properly make a working/ fully functional network to all users they say they can support.

The internet service is so horrible it goes out two or three times a day where you don't have any Internet and I live in Utah County in a very populated area. It is such a horrible internet I thought about trying to find one of those thousand free hours with AOL dial-up CDs from the 1990s. And if you ever do have to call their customer service, that leaves the impression you were talking to a bunch of 15-16 year olds. It is really a horrible company from top to bottom I don't even know how it stays in business.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTACT THEM BY PHONE, CHAT IS A JOKE BECAUSE IT SAYS 55 PEOPLE IN FRONT OF YOU. IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE AUTOPAY IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. THERE IS ABOSLUTELY NO WAY TO CANCEL THE SERVICE. YOU ARE TRAPPED INTO THEM BILLING YOU WHATEVER THEY WANT. ITS MADDENING TRYING TO CONTACT THIS COMPANY. DONT DO IT IF YOURE CONSIDERING THE SERVICE. ITS THE MOST FRUSTRATING OREDEAL I HAVE EVER BEEN THROUGH

Honestly, it deserves 0 stars. Terrible company, terrible service. I am now dealing with a stupid collections agency for the mistake made by one of their agents and giving me false information. Please, I beg you, save yourself a headache, and go somewhere else. Centurylink is terrible, negative 50 stars.

Worst customer service ever!!! One star is to many!!! If you get pricing over the phone try to record the conversation because they don’t honor the price that was promised. This has happened to me twice now.
