Public Beach Access

After a quick and inexpensive ferry ride to Guemes Island, we enjoyed walking on this fine sand beach. We found plenty of big logs to sit on and rest while taking in the view across the water to Anacortes. When finished building sand castles you can stop in the General Store or drive around the island before taking the ferry back home.

I have accessed many beaches in my day, some of them publicly, and some...not so much. This is my favorite beach access.....the knotted rope is the best! try it!

They need to take the political photos off of images! Not everyone in America agrees with their lingo! I could argue with this all day as many people could on both sides! Politics should be removed from the beauty God created everyone can enjoy a place like this without reading something to make them mad before they go!
