Islands Library

A library employee (Jane Marie Price) was invaluable in helping me complete a very difficult online visa application. She was patient and competent and friendly. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome to my frustrating problems. On another occasion when I was out of town and couldn’t renew a book, a librarian was able to recheck my book for me. Not a big thing, but very nice. Wanda Grandberry is doing a superior job in hiring good people.

Very clean and roomy library and masks are required....woohoo! Kathy greeted me with a smile and helped me to whole way through. She has a very pleasant and welcoming personality, professional and funny 😊. Thank you Kathy for starting my morning with a smile. I will definitely be coming back.

I found so many of my favorite authors here! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and help you get set up so you can renew or reserve books/materials online. I put in a request for a book and was quickly notified so I could pick it up.

This is a great library! It's nice to have a new facility especially compared to the old location! It's great that students can walk over after school for resources or a quiet place to do homework. It is on the corner of Johnny Mercer and Whitemarsh Island Road with the police station on one side and Islands High School on the other. Marshpoint Elementary and Coastal Middle schools are just down from Islands High.

An excellent, clean library with a friendly and knowledgeable staff and a small but decent selection of books.

An island of adventure and knowledge waiting for you. With excellent adventure guides (librarians) to help you with your treasure hunt whether it be adventure, knowledge or just need to use the wizard tablets (computers) they have the paths to which you seek. Bring your mystical face guards to enter and remeber to say the magic words... please and thank you.

THE quietest, cleanest library I've ever been to, with chargers and ramped-up A/C. An excellent learning environment! Definitely not the place to socialize with mouth sounds!

Went to the library to vote, and the library is a very nice space. Very quiet, a lot of books, and very cool...temperature wise.
