Johnny Cash’s Bar & BBQ

I didn't eat here. I just stopped in for some drinks. The bar is nice and spacious with friendly and fast service. I enjoyed the live music playing.
It's clean and up to date conveniently located right beside the Johnny Cash Museum!

The band was phenomenal! We had a great bartender and she let us know about the bucket of beers special which helped us out. Great venue right off Broadway for live music and all the Johnny Cash memorabilia around.

We came in just for drinks and sat at a bar in the back. Service was fast and exceptional. We didn't eat but the food all looked and smelled great! Live band played traditional country music and kept the crowd fully attentive. Definitely will be back for chicken wings!

Love Johnny cash and this bar, good bands that play that night was bad A$$ very good environment and music was very good with some rock and roll.

We swung in here to catch some music and have a drink. It's a great place. We really enjoyed the band and came back on the 2nd night as well and the other band was just as good. Service was good at both bars and a much more laid back atmosphere at least while I was there than many of the other bars that are more like being back in college.

I always make time to stop in here when I'm in Nashville. The food is great. I had the pulled pork sliders. They have live music as well. Thanks again for the great hospitality.

Nice Nashville type Honky Tonk bar. They have good BBQ too. The live music was hit or miss. I expected a little more with the Johnny Cash name attached. Maybe that's why it was never really as busy as other nearby spots. Not BAD live music. But by Nashville standards...a little lacking. Other than that, a nice place to hang out for a few beers, and still be able to have conversations with others.

Our first stop in Nashville for drinks and food. It was nice having places to sit down and eat. Staff was friendly and music was great!

Good place for breakfast and pancakes, the hot chicken is really 🥵hot, so be careful. Was across the street from our hotel (Moxy), and it was competitive to the famous diner next door. No line and great service. and they have live music too at breakfast time.😆

I came here for lunch during my trip to Nashville and it was excellent. The BBQ brisket platter was great. Food aside, the service was good and fast. The staff does a great job of getting around the room and making sure everyone is taken care of despite the huge crowd. Also there was live music. 5 stars :)

Not only are there lots of Johnny Cash memorabilia on the walls, the food is fantastic and the live band was really good.

We had a wonderful time, great live music the service was excellent the bartender even on a busy Friday night was able to keep up with everyone ordering and did not miss anyone. The upstairs bar has a beautiful bar and mural of John and June's lakeside home with beautiful dark woodwork throughout this is definitely a stop for anyone visiting the Broadway area.

Arrived a little after 9:00am yesterday (8-20-21) It was a great experience. Jasmine was our waitress. She was very attentive and sweet. Jake Loban and then the band was awesome!! Felt no pressure to leave. Enjoyed the music for a bit and then visited the museum. Food was good and the ambiance was A+

Great music, good drinks. Never tried the food, but what a good atmosphere. I recommend stopping here for a good time.

Dustin and Ashley were absolutely awesome! Dustin was our server and was the absolute best!!!! We are from Maine and he took excellent care of us!!

We had such a great time with two of your staff members Dustin and Tony. We were in town for a conference and they were amazing!! So friendly, talkative and took the time to talk to us and not treat us like just another table! Keep up the great work and I think Dustin will do great!

We went with a private group, for an event upstairs. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a buffet with hamburgers, pulled pork, chicken strips, spring rolls. As well as all the fixins. The food was very good. I especially enjoyed the chicken strips. I would definitely recommend Johnny Cash BBQ when you are in the Nashville area. There is also a Johnny Cash museum which was closed because it was late in the evening. The upstairs was beautiful with stained glass that is said to be from Johnnys house.

We were visiting Nashville, we when to the Johnny Cash Museum and had lunch at the johnny cash bbq. Dustin D was our server and he was amazing, so nice and very knowledgeable
The food was great as well 10/10
