Bryan at the front counter was AMAZING. I had several items I was shipping to different people, and he very quickly walked me through my options considering the item, time-sensitivity, and cost. It was the best experience I've ever had at any post office!

4 stars for a kiosk machine that I usually use when the office is closed so I dont have to deal with the staff. 0 stars for the employees - they're always unfriendly.

I recently had a terrible experience at this location which advertised walk-in appointments. As someone with a busy schedule during typical business hours, I was glad to find a place that allowed flexibility with services. However, my experience took a turn for the worse once I arrived. My wife and I were the last in line, with six people ahead of us. While we waited, the representative helped a walk-in customer with passport services. When it was our turn, the representative asked if we had an appointment, to which we replied no. Initially, the representative falsely claimed that they only accept appointments, but I showed her the website which stated that they also accept walk-ins. The representative then said that it was up to them whether or not they would accept walk-ins, and after scanning us she refused services. I asked why she decided to not accept us after allowing the previous walk-in customer, and she replied that we needed to make an appointment.

Although I do not usually resort to playing the race card, I cannot help but think that we were not accepted due to our skin color. The representative's behavior was extremely disappointing, especially as my children were present. Allowing employees to make decisions based solely on their discretion puts the company at risk of discrimination lawsuits. Therefore, I strongly recommend revisiting your policies. I also strongly recommend that people stay away from this location, as they do not know how to treat their customers properly and uphold what they advertise.

Unfortunately this post office has not upgraded it's 2 outdoor mailboxes to be tamper proof. Neither is there any video surveilance. During the Holidays i mailed my mother a greetings card with a debit card inside. I mailed the card in the outdoor box since the post office was closed. The very next morning there was a slew of fraudulent charges already, as theives had stolen the mail! The bank told me this is common in well to do towns. And that theives also can digitaly alter checks and cash them. The police told me this has been going on for a year, and will go on as long as the mailboxes are not tamperproof. The Needham Post Office admitted that this is a problem and that a couple of tamperproof boxes are on order. I think that in the mean time stickers need to be put on regular mailboxes telling people not to put anything of value inside the mailbox.

Lisa is the worse employee on the staff. Tell her to stop recording customers when they’re in there doing business

Ever since we moved to Needham, our mail has been consistently delivered late, and we've had packages lost (disappear) with indefinite delays when trying to ship from this location. I've never experienced that with USPS at other locations before, which leads me to believe that this location is particularly incompetent.

Always understaffed, only one clerk for mail as the other one only handles passports. Have to go about 2times per week and it is never an easy experience. If they had to worry about customer service they would be out of business. Needs a revamp!!!!
