Airport MFE

First time in McAllen and found this airport to run smoothly and had all the amenities. Good little Cafe with breakfast options - I got the breakfast burrito. It was good but could do without the salsa. There is a little souvenir shop with cute items. Security for a first timer was confusing to find as it is tucked behind the check-in counters. But great little airport.

This airport is extremely clean and well staffed for a small airport. There isn't a lot of choices for food if you are waiting on your flight, but that isn't a deal breaker as the small resturant/bar they have is pretty good. The staff is really friendly and very dedicating to insuring your experience is a good one. What impressed me the most was the cleanliness of the bathrooms. This is a very well run airport.

Small yet clean airport. It's worth noting that once you pass security, food options become limited. It's advisable to grab a bite to eat before heading through security.

Absolutely Awesome. My brother had never been to an airport before. But if he must go and minister in the Philippines, he needed to know how to find his way around the airport. Wonderful people were so helpful and took time to answer all his questions.

Hadn't visited the airport in five years. Very well organized, but too cold for me. Went to pick up a friend and the plane was 10 minutes early !!

Clean.. friendly people.. fast to get boarding pass.

Small airport, which makes for very quick check ins, and security. single level for check in, gates, arrivals, baggage claim. and seein as how i hate stairs... i luv this. a nice coffe shop and store inside. decent sandwiches. old school shoe shine .. always a great vibe when im here.

The airport is small and easy to navigate. I traveled early in the morning and there wasn't and waiting in any of the lines.

Easy to get checked in and to your gate. Not very busy and centrally located. Nice upkept airport.

This is a very nice airport. Clean, well organized, and easy to navigate. Only improvement I would suggest would be more a few more restaurant options.

Very nice airport. American Airlines staff was extremely helpful, too. I forgot my book in my checked bag. They found it and brought it to me. Happy customer here!

Small, clean airport with courteous Staff. I got to the airport 20mns before departure (not boarding) time and was still able to make it on time for my flight. That is how small the airport is. It was definitely refreshing from having to be at the airport at least 2hrs (sometimes 3 if flying from ATL) before departure.

Very few people when I got here so I was helped quickly.

Super easy to fly out of!
