Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican

This is our favorite location. The food is always hot and fresh. The staff is nice and the restaurant is clean.

The staff is so friendly it feels like family. We always feel welcome at the Sandy location in quarry bend. The food portions were generous, and the taste of our salads was excellent! For my wife and I it would be unthinkable to go anywhere else when we think of dining out.

For the volume and quality of an entree here, the price is hard to beat. Cafe Rio is a reliable staple for fast casual Mexican food. Across all locations their product is consistent. Good variety of meats and sauces to choose from, and always willing to customize your order on request.
Top tips: The tres leches cake is decadent and delicious - one of the best options available for purchase at a fast Mexican restaurant. Worth the $5, but you may also have a survey offer on your receipt that can earn you a free one on your next visit. Also be sure to leverage their app for a decent rewards program.

The burrito enchilada style was awesome. The pork was sweet and tender. I tried Mexican street corn, it was fabulous.

This has turned into a very efficient location. Great staff and short wait times. I really dislike the cafeteria style dining room however. It is SO LOUD.

My friend treated me to lunch for my birthday. The location was good, the service was nice, and the atmosphere was perfect. We got a clean table and we even saw a news anchor-woman for KSL5 there!

Best Cafe Rio I have ever been to, because the to-go person is awesome!!! She was running around helping to clear tables and open the door for anyone who was coming or going. She even saw that I was motioning that I was going to need a new cup for a drink refill and she just came and dropped it off before I could even ask for one! Lastly, she brought this yummy strawberry treat for my kids. Give this lady a raise!!!

Even though Baja shrimp was the Saturday special, we had to wait awhile for our tacos because they weren’t prepared for the demand. We still LOVE Cafe Rio!

Love cafe rio and this location does quality. Also huge shout out to Lorraine who went above and beyond for everyone visiting. She checked on every customer while they had their meal, distributed waters while people were waiting in line, and was just the most hospitable and genuine person. Never felt more welcomed at a restaurant. I hope she's the manager - if she isn't she better be soon!

Famous for its sweet smoky pork barbacoa, Cafe Rio's generous portion and reasonable prices is a must try!

Yesterday mama noche and her co-worker who had the pins on his hat made my food orders and it was the best meal I've had at cafe rio, made perfectly, no complaints, I will be back because of those two who really listen and assemble with ease. Makes all the difference when you avoid dairy, the small details matter and I appreciate them for making it a smooth experience

A classic fast food Mexican restaurant. The service was fast, food was tasty, and it wasn't very busy. Also very clean!

My favorite place for quick tex-mex. Lots of flavor and can get as spicy as you want. I miss it immensely when I am away, and it is my first stop when I come home. I go for burritos or salads. LOTS of food so come hungry

Their chips and Queso are so good! They have a spacious dine in so lots of room for friends night out or after graduation dinner. They also have deals on the meal of the day, which was cool to try, and it was cheaper than the regular price. Definitely try the Chips and Queso! Oh, and the lemonade drinks are delicious! Especially the mango lemonade!

The food was fantastic. I had a sweet pork salad with black beans.
My all-time favorite order is the coconut shrimp tacos with mango sauce.
