fast in and out. Quality FRESH made food the chicken tacos were loaded ate 3 but was full off 2 tacos, not skimpy servings best 6 bucks I sent on lunch.i can't believe anyone eats Macdonald. Eat local and delicious

Great little sandwich shop.
Definitely recommend. Had the pastrami and maple apple turkey wrap both excellent. Only con is there is no indoor seating. But I will be back. A+

I needed to find catering in Houlton for a party of 15 in a pinch. Sue from Shamrock accommodated all of my needs. Everyone loved the food. We had wraps, a large salad, and an apple cake. The price was great for what we got, and everyone was satisfied. I will definitely be using Shamrock Cafe again in the future for my catering needs.

First off, my husband and I are foodies. He's culinary trained and I'm a very good cook. We were looking for a place that 'honored' the food that we eat and by that I mean how it is raised or grown, non-GMO or organic, limited processing, etc. Much to our delight we found the Shamrock Cafe offering a diverse menu that should please almost anyone. Our food was fresh and delicious. My husband had the lamb gyro and I had the maple chicken-apple wrap. We were both very pleased. The only drawback is that it is primarily take-out although there were two tables outside but the atmosphere was pretty dismal with weeds and neglect and a bag of winter salt near the front door that may have been put there to prepare for this winter however I think that it was left from last winter. Don't let that keep you, though, from trying the Shamrock Cafe. We will be returning!!!

Haven't been to this place in a few years so was surprised to see that they currently only have take-out service.....but my wife and I were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. We placed our order...waited out in our car and they brought our food out to us. Liked the fact that they use fresh veggies on their sandwiches. The fact that you can order ahead and pick-up is nice for us. We plan on utilizing that service the next time we head into Houlton on business! Thank you Shamrock Cafe for fresh sandwiches!

Only wish is indoor seating. My pig roast sandwich was absolutely delicious! Thank you for the great service.

Taco Tuesday options are delicious and the best bang for your buck in town. The new breakfast options are great as well. Highly recommend the breakfast bowl or burrito!

The food is always amazing. WE know how hard you work to manage a Café and family and we appreciate everything you are doing. Keep up the good work. We love seeing the kids no matter how noisy and crazy it is because we as parents can all relate. Thank you for bringing wonderful food to this community.

Easily the best lunch spot in town. We have tried basically everything on the menu and have loved all of it. The sub roll the Italian is made on is phenomenal - homemade, fresh and not too dense. You can't go wrong with anything you order + the owners are super nice and you can tell they really take pride in their business. Best place in town!!

New to the Houlton area and decided to stop in for a quick sandwich...delicious and satisfying. I had the chicken gyro and my husband had the french dip, both delicious and with super fresh ingredients. The gentleman working there was kind and offered up several recommendations upon my request.
This will be our go to spot for lunch . Can't wait to try everything on the menu.

This place is amazing everything is freshly cooked or made on sit it is a small family run bussiness that started up over covid. They are so friendly and will try and do anything to accommodate you needs there is a very wide range of sandwiches, wraps, pennies and salads and an even wider range of fillings. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area that wants a light snack or even quite a big meal. Prices are very reasonable and a much better option to a fast food takeaway my kids also love the place and the food they offer it also has outside seating for the nicer days we have.

My tacos were amazing! They were very well portioned and had tons of fresh herbs and Pico de Gallo which is something you don't get much in northern Maine. Also loved the small town feel with their little kids running around and entertaining everyone. I wish it were Tuesday again to get some more! 😋

Food is great! Big sandwiches plus they have homemade breads, soups, coffee, homemade desserts...yum! Plus the kids are adorable! Stop by and say hi to the crew and buy a great meal.

Soups/chowders cooked fresh daily are excellent. Sandwiches are made to order (add/subtract ingredients for a truly customized meal). Great alternative to local eateries. Reasonably priced.
