Authentic Cantones tasty… If you are from Venezuela you will love this place. It’s the Venezuelan taste!!! the ribs took my mind back home! The guy who attend most customer is always with an amazing smile. You can have a great time here! Amazing place!!!

Great food, wonderful owner but the inside is a bit outdated. But, the food makes up for it. Vegtable Fried rice and Coconut Shrimp.

We love going here. It is one of our favorite places to eat in Houlton. The staff is always super friendly, and the food is always delicious!

Just had some really good food here. The place looked clean to me, there wasn't any dead bugs in the windows as I had read in another review. Server was very nice and service was very fast... I also liked the fact that every item had no MSG in it... I will definitely come back the next time I'm in town!

Very nice restaurant run by a nice family. Being veteran, it can be a touchy issue dealing with Orientals as I personally understand their suffrage and speak a little of the languages. This family is as good as it gets, all American to boot. I'm not the only vet that loves this place. We eat there single or in a bunch. Food is always great. If you don't see it, ask and they will go that extra mile.

We were visiting family in Maine and wanted to take my Aunt out to dinner. She suggested Tang's. It was an excellent choice. Everything we ordered was great and no one left hungry. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was nice. We will definitely return there the next time we visit my Aunt.

Excellent. We went on a Friday afternoon, between lunch and dinner. There were a couple of tables and a man named Steven was running the front of house. We were greeted immediately, seated with menus and got our drink order immediately. We both ordered off the combination menu with one substitution. The food arrived timely and was hot, crispy, and had good flavor. Any requests for more drinks or sauces were fulfilled immediately by Steven.
Music was playing softly and restaurant was clean and decor was not dingy or run down. The bathrooms need a little TLC, they were clean, but run down. The exterior does not do the interior justice. It looks a little sketchy from the outside, but it's a good, almost great, Chinese restaurant. For Aroostook county? It's far superior to any other Chinese restaurants we have tried.
I wish they would open a location in Fort Kent.

I'm very happy to revise this review. It's more fun to rave than to rage (truth, that's fun too). I was faced with either driving around 1 to 1.5 hours to either Caribou or Lincoln to satisfy that Chinese food craving. I just can't face the other place in town (that shall not be named) as I get the impression things aren't going well for them and I have reason to suspect they are cutting corners. I also feel uncomfortable in dying restaurants, it's just sad.

Enough of that, I gave Tang's a second try and boy was I surprised. Holy cow, I was so impressed. We got the sweet and sour shrimp, the Thai Chicken, an order of the boneless ribs, and an order of egg rolls. The delivery was very prompt and friendly. I just can't say enough about the Thai Chicken, amazingly tender and flavorful. They even included white rice to make a bed to layer the entree on. Sadly some places are doing so poorly they can't afford this 'luxury.' Speaking of luxuries, they didn't even upcharge me 50¢ to use my credit card. Wow! I will say that it was the same flavorless brown water that is passed off as soy sauce; I've learned this is universal. I even take my own bottle of soy sauce to restaurants, it's a necessity. The sweet and sour shrimp looked odd at first, like onion rings, but then shrimp naturally curl when cooked so it made sense. Still tasted great and they had just a bit of a snap biting into them. The boneless BBQ ribs were tasty and tender. I thought the egg rolls were excellent, salted just about right.

All & all a wonderful dining experience. Good food, served as expected (even c white rice and I didn't even have to pay extra for it as a side, amazing).

In conclusion, I retract my past impressions, they've surged to the front of the line. Guess I can stay in good ol Houlton for my Chinese fix. This makes me happy.

Tang's is food is good. We had the Sizzling Steak Wor Bar and it was excellent. It's been so long since we had this dish that we had almost forgotten what it taste like. They slice the steak up for you and put it on a hot plate. Then there are veggies in a dark sauce that is to die for. It makes me hungry now just thinking about it. And they also have very good spring rolls. I highly recommend this dish to you. Order it tonight! Thanx

Decent restaurant. Best chicken fried rice I ever had. Very unique. Exquisite place. My Wife loved and enjoyed her white steamed rice with a unique sauce with broccoli, beef etc. Lovely

I came here for take out on Christmas eve, and absolutely enjoyed My experience. The atmosphere is amazing and the people are wonderful and the food is Number 1. I really like the family pictures on the wall as well! I hope they stay here for many years!

Tang's is one of my favorite Chinese Restaurants north of Portland, ME. When the buffet bar was open, it was always clean and the food was hot and fresh. With the pandemic still going on, the buffet is still closed, but the restaurant is open for dine-in eating and take-out. I ate in this visit and was not disappointed. The food was very hot and fresh and was delivered quickly. I have never been disappointed with the food or the friendly staff. On another note, if you are looking for some bamboo plants and succulents, then take a look at Tang's collection. They are healthy and reasonably priced.

Been going to Tangs for over 18 years. Never had a bad meal. There take-out is enough for 2 meals. Real friendly owners that treat you like friends and not just customers. Highly recommend!

Due to Covid 19, this place has only just started allowing diners to eat in. As such it was very quiet and they didn't have the buffet open. However, what we ordered came as huge portions (even for me) and I had to take some home. I will say that the sweet and sour sauce here is excellent, the best I've had in a long time.

Today stopped and got dinner for 3. Decided to explore other menu options. It's huge!!
